    Only if it's X-Men plus Square-Enix characters.

As much as I like Donald and Goofy... they are BY FAR the most annoying characters I've EVER dealt with in a video game.
  2. Katanas do not go on the back.

ALWAYS the left hip, to be drawn by the right hand. If DB with katana blades, then they are still both on the left hip.

That is likely what he means.

I rather regularly employ the use of my Pocket D teleporter. As such, I see this 'stuttering', and it still is making me cringe every time I see it.

Haven't used the other porters(Base/Mission) since the most recent patch, so I cannot say what is doing what.
  4. I've been doing a fair bit of base construction for my near to fall-apart SG(hoping the SG Leader will leave me the base). I've become frustrated with the large number of SMALL, MINOR things that are missing from the base editor.
    • Beds¹
    • Aquariums
    • Kitchen Appliances²
    • Neon lights³
    • Bath Tubs and/or hot tubs

¹: I figure they don't exist over NCSoft's concern regarding Cybering. We already cannot lie down via emote, so I think that concern is handled. I'd like to build a barracks, with bunkbeds, but that's nigh impossible given the current editing failings.
²: Our bases are our Heroes' and Villains' "homes". Most, if not all "homes" have kitchens. Even supers have to eat.
³: Really like the ability to customize lighting. The 'Tech Etched' wall pattern is nice, but it frankly just isn't enough. Basic strip lights, and basic shapes would be much appreciated.

    Elevator Doors?

    Nicely done, Animorph.

    Elevator Doors?

Placed right, White Wall Cabinets can look like anything from elevator doors to a refrigerator set into the wall itself, I've found.
  7. I wouldn't even call it a hit, given that it's a kick. =D

Anyways, I use this kick rather liberally on my MA/Inv Scrapper, and it's never bothered me.

    It's a simple axe kick?

My only real issue with it is that its chance to immobilize is so absurdly low that I'll see about 3 immobilizes every thousand uses.

On my up and coming Brute(ele/ele), I'm having issues with getting a good lineup for a cone. Seems that after the tank engages, everyone else forgets that they STILL generate threat and can(and usually do) pull aggro, which really borks the cone/line.

I occasionally have the same problem on my Dual blade Stalker, with people pulling mobs out of the cone area right as the ability finally goes off(when using Thousand Cuts).

    Hope this helps?

Yep. You buy em over on the plaync website's store. It's actually a really simple and efficient procedure. Buy the pack, log into your CoX(PlayNC) account on the site, and it'll ask if you'd like your code to be applied to your account.

Apply the code, make sure to log off(if logged on), then log into the game, and your new options will be available.

The booster packs have costume pieces, one has an 'aura' you can obtain at character creation. That being Super Booster I, Cyborg. In addition to the costume pieces, there are a few special powers, such as a self destruct power(AOE fire damage, auto-kill your toon, from Cyborg), a buff power that you use to buff other people(from Super Booster II, Magic), a Mission Teleporter power(Guess what it does? From the Mac Special Edition Item Pack(does not require a mac to obtain the item pack)), the mac pack also including the Valkyrie costume items.

Finally, there's the newest pack, Super Booster III: Super Science, which enables you to visit special tailors in the tailor "shops" or the tailor in Pocket D, which will allow you to change body types(including height). I have a 5' tall little Japanese chick stalker who supersizes(as one of her costume slots) into a behemoth(Giant Body Type) wearing full body armor. It is her 'mecha body armor' for when she expects serious bloodshed.

Enjoy... just don't spend too much. I took my time(2 months) to buy all of the available item packs. But make sure ya have fun.
  10. As a stalker(Ninja-ish background even, but gee.... who saw THAT coming?), Akiko would probably pick the kitten up, pet it, take it home, and feed it. Cats are the stalkers of the animal world... so she would feel kinship.

Then she'd raise it and teach it to attack any intruders in the VG base.
  11. What does ERP have to do with rolling a Toddler?

Do we need to have a chat with Chris Hansen? O.o

    AE- I'm very sad

    [ QUOTE ]
I really enjoyed writing and playing stories from our talented community, and not that I'm anti-farming, but I had such high hopes for AE and just experiencing the creativity and ingenuity of the authors. I still do, but I play most of them solo now as the primary invites are AE.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I just recently got into the groove in AE mission arc creation. I was having all kinds of fun just putting together the custom stuff.

Then I encountered AE's major problem that isn't Farming.

    100k.

    Yes, the problem is 100k.

Because 100 kilobytes is all that the mission editor will allow for a FULL MISSION ARC. Not a single mission. Every mission in an arc must fit inside 100kilobytes.

How the hell am I going to write fun/funny/dramatic storylines in my mission arcs if two-three custom mobs have the file size bursting at the seams?

You can't be creative with the MA. There isn't enough room, simple as that.

Not to mention, the editor is very inconsistent with it's file size changes. I removed something earlier on accident, noted the file size change, and then put it back. The file size was larger AFTER the fix than it was before it was broken.

Seriously, in a day and age with hard drives in iPod's that hold enough data that would have required a WAREHOUSE to contain just 25 years ago, you'd think they could spring for a bit more than 100k.

Even if we had the most detailed and epic storyline arcs put together(provided larger file sizes, of course), people are STILL going to abuse the system and PL. Farming isn't as much an issue, because it's farming: Every MMO ever made has farming somehow. People are people, they will take the path of least resistance. Get used to it.

With Hard Disks down to less than ten-cents a gigabyte, there is little to no excuse to limit an entire mission arc to 100k. Absolutely none.
