My Vote, Auto Accept/Decline option. That way people who want it can always get it, and those who hate it can always ignore it. Sorta like the Prompt Team Teleport Dialog Box.

I LOVE the extra buff, the people I play with all have it and we use it ALWAYS. We even have come to the point we just buff the person on the list below us.

How about giving us (and by us I mean the Higher end vets and the player base) Vanguard merits and Costume recipes every so often. Say, every 6 months you get the option to have a costume piece unlocked (or get the recipe for said costume piece) and give us say, 60 Vanguard Merits every 3 months.

This avoids the whole "You can only unlock it by waiting" dilemma, and at the same time gives those of us who have been around for ever a break when it comes to doing something we have done a thousand times already.

*When I say costume pieces I mean the wings and boots you can unlock
**I did the math, if you get 60 vanguard merits every 30 months, that breaks down to 20 a month or 1,200 in 60 months. This would give any 60+ month vet the ability to unlock the full Vanguard outfit OR a bunch of those temp powers and other unlock-ables.

Of course this is just an idea I thought id toss up in the air.

Personally, the 69 is an epic fail. I like the gift of a respect, but it needs something else with it.

In theory the 72 seems cool, until you get the numbers for it.

Is there an Official Place for us to suggest vet rewards?

Things that would make me happy, and not be over powered that you could add to these or ANY of the backlogged ones to buff them up a bit.


A token for a future booster pack (or any of the current booster packs)

The ability to have all of our inspiration slots from level 1 (Just making the lower lever game that less tedious)

Unlock Regular capes at level 1 (I have enough higher level characters, the cape and aura mission is Cool the first few times, but after 20 or 30 alts its just annoying having to wait till i'm 30 to have a fully decked out costume)

Unlock Auras at level 1 ( Same as above)

Unlock all the costume slots at level 1 (Same as Above)

Give vets another costume slot (I mean a 6th, assuming the system can do that)

Make unlock-able costume parts global (meaning you do it on one, all your toons have it)

Global badges any one? Im not a heavy badger but it would be nice to have the badge tittles I have worked for unlocked on all my toons. (Esp with the lack of zone restrictions now, its not that big of a deal for things like Oro, the Midnighter arc and so on.)

Im sure you can all sense a theme with this set of ideas. Its just where my mind went.

So as I type this, I'm sure the devs are going to want to have me dragged from my bed as I sleep and beaten. Playing this game as long as I have, I like to think I generally know how the devs feel about certain things. That being said...

I think it would be neat if every 3 months we got a few costume items from different enemy groups. I realize the devs don't want us looking like them exactly so perhaps 1/3 of the costume items any particular group has. Even give it a choice menu so people can pick which set they get when. Id even go as far as to say start this as early as 3 months since there as who knows how many NPC groups to do this with. It would ensure that ALL players get some nifty costume that people who just installed the game don't. At the same time it would give the long time vets that little something extra to feel special since they could easily have any where from 5 to 21 of these "mini packs".

Now of course I have a good idea what this would entail so its easier said then done.



It also leads to the argument of "costume parts as vet rewards yes or no" but thats another thread and not this one.


Also, as I type this I think this would be a good add-in for the vet system. If its not costume parts something else that would have a ton of options so you could give them out every 3 or 6 months as just a little extra and people can get something they prefer over something else. Just add them on top of the current vet rewards. For some people this would be a "SWEET I GET SOMETHING EXTRA EVERY MONTH" and others it would be a "well its not the Nemesis staff but the fact is got to pick "whatever" is still pretty nice.

How about getting all of our Inspiration slots at level 2.

Get a discount on All TOs/DOs and SOs.

OH OH increase the vets chance of getting a Med and or Large Insp instead of a small. (if thats even due able)

Also to the guy saying that he wants to get the devs in on the chan drama because somebody bad mouthed his sg; GROW A PAIR. What are you 12? The devs don't have time to deal with your drama. Nor should they care. If they ban any one it should be YOU and the guy who goes on about free speech. True You have a right to your opinion, but you dont have the right to hurt any body with your opinion. I have half a mind to log in and kick every body from the global. All you drama people make the rest of the Internet look bad. Thats right I said it, you make the INTERNET look bad; and we all know what kind of crap is on the Internet. Maybe if were lucky the will lock this thread and disband the chan. That would be the best thing ever.
