I love Maleficent. Horned headdresses are just the ultimate. There's something so evil about them. I sure wish we could have a cool staff crowned by a live raven, like that in the game. What an awesome pet.

Tiger as tier 3 pet please. I'd like for VIPs not to have to pay for this set, either. That goes for staffs too.

*Annoyed* oh good lord, there are some of you who are just NOT going to be happy until not only are all female player characters arrayed in gunny-sacks, knee-socks and Keds sneakers, but all the female NPCs are too.

Speaking generally: Some of you hate sexy: we get it. Some of you have odd ideas of what is sexy: we get it. There are plenty of options in this game so that your female characters don't even have to show a single inch of facial skin AND their clothing can be unisex-baggy to boot. Do this all day long- they're your characters and you have freedom of choice.

NOT ALL OF US WANT THAT. And frankly if Diabolique's costume or look are made to reflect this new aesthetic, I won't be happy. I DON'T LIKE UGLY. I CAN SEE THAT IRL. I am in this game to escape, not see ugly NPCs. Unless theyre ugly-cool, like Arachnoids or something.

Diabolique, Ghost Widow and their ilk are supernaturally-powered characters and they do what they want. The distraction of one's enemy via uber-hotness is a legitimate tactic. Frankly if it were possible to be such a thing, and be so beautiful on top of that, I wouldn't be kowtowing to the "you ought to be wearing a gunny-sack!" crowd either.

Yup. My monitor is 19" and Diabolique is looking pretty darn hot, puns intended. That is probably a statement of innate gear-uncoolness, perhaps I will get a bigger screen when I replace my rig in 2013.

The new DA zone is made of win, although it resembles the real DA but little. Especially enjoyed: the random echoing screams of anguish as one flies about the zone. Also, the Queen from Aliens is in there, and how can that NOT be cool.

I do wonder how we are supposed to access the old DA through Oro, since there is nary a contact or a mission to be found in it.

Word! What is all the complaining about, Diabolique is SO GORGEOUS that she's actually my desktop wallpaper right now! Every part of her is sublime! The hat! The loincloth! [and when are we getting those, developers? Since you are so kindly about to give us the Carnie sash, you can get right on this loincloth thing next, ok? and yes we will give up capes to use it] the boots! The little stand-up collar! Her makeup *swoon!*! she even has long fingernails, and its just complaincomplaincomplain.

I swear its like if we dare to see a pretty woman in this game, everyone just comes out of the woodwork with an anti-sexy rant. There is nothing more comic-book than scantily-clad bombshells, so everyone needs to just get over it. I say this as a woman myself

I rejoice when people DON'T lie there endlessly, instead of going to the hospital and actually getting back into the fight as they ought to be doing! Lying there endlessly is leeching, in my book.

And yes, Vengeance is 98% useless. Not to mention, I am not going to lie there and hopeity-hope-hope-hope that maybe someone, somewhere on the league has it and no doubt if I lie there long enough, they'll use it...! I'm an Incarnate; I can get MYSELF back from the hospital. Just like I could at level 5.

Now about that timer which evidently was introduced for the SOLE purpose of ticking off the playerbase and hopefully, causing the trial to fail by reducing damage for just that teensy little bit of time.... got nothing good to say about this beyond-useless game mechanic. But my hat is off to everyone with enough gumption to actually not be scared of running back around the corner from the hosp. in BAF. *eyeroll*

Yeah, sure they are. They're doing it so much that they're having to hold the Sword of Damocles over everyone's head in an effort to get players to run the newer content.

The developers are badly, badly mistaken if they think applying the stick is going to get me to run this stuff. If anything, it will have the opposite effect.

From what I understand so far, I am not really interested in running Omega content anyways, so if they want to kill this golden goose completely dead, I'll get over it. I have no emotional investment in it. Although I do find the idea of striving for months or possibly years on a system - MA comes to mind - only to almost instantly turn people off to the concept, pretty LOL-tastic.

Give the people what they want, and this won't be an issue.

The Isles are some of the only escape we get from the multifarious blandnesses of Paragon City, a place where 'most every zone looks exactly alike. I find it ironic that your list of keeper zones are some of the most visually bland.

I am however, good with nuking Striga and especially, Independance Port. Horribly boring zones. Take the contacts and put them somewheres else. Anywheres will do.

Anything which cuts down on the sheer mind-numbing infuriation that is the BAF trial cutscene is worth it. I have half a mind to trigger a nuke on zoning into BAF one of these days, just to see if the effects carry over.

Hate that cutscene with the burning fury of a thousand supernova-ing suns. And yes, it still triggers 99% of the time.

Remember the first Spider-man movie? There the Green Goblin is on his glider, taunting Spider-man on the bridge when a bunch of civilians start pelting GG with tire-irons and various other debris. He just shrugs that off and ignores it.

Such hokum, when anyone knows Osborn would REALLY have firebombed that crowd into shrieking, stop-drop-and-rolling cinders for even daring to address him. As I recall Dr Octopus was pretty bad about that too: for a mundane to even address Ock was to take one's life into one's hands. The Adam Troy Castro Spider-man novels were GREAT in portraying how labile these villains could be.

I have a big problem with how "nice" this genre is sometimes. I can tell you none of my villains especially have the slightest problem with seeing Liberty laying dead under the Atlas statue as States mourns.... in fact that's good for a giggle or three.

This is why, when I hold rank whether in my own SGs or any other, I make sure to log in every couple of days at LEAST. That way this isn't an issue.

I would definitely one-star the perpetrator, and I might even end up jumping servers to get away from them. I have leapt servers to get far, far away from d-bags in the past, and I'm capable of such future action. But I've always been one to take a Spyderco Harpy to a Gordian Knot, anyways

Yup. I purchased the pack, not a CHANCE to get a pack. There is the elephant in the room that a lot of people are refusing to look at: a guaranteed purchase vs the high probability of NOT getting what you want.

Sure did, however chance played no part in the purchase. I paid my money and got EXACTLY what I wanted, no chance involved.

Since we are paying for 99% of new costume pieces now, that is a moot point.

My suspicion is that soon all of them will be sold through these [un]Super Packs. They're testing the waters now, and although those waters are somewhat roiled by consumer dissent, they'll go ahead and do it anyways.

The same thing was said when Super Boosters were implemented.

I don't think anyone has stated this. Its going to be a gradual thing.... just like the Super Boosters were.... and eventually its going to be ALL new costume pieces. They're not going to issue a fiat yet, knowing the [righteous] rage that would ensue; they're going to try to be sneaky about it.

As if people are not going to notice.
