I have all the day job badges on lots of alts and am 1 or 2 away on many more (locked out due to level constraints.)
I can see how they'd be annoying if you don't play many alts, but for me, I luvs 'em! I esp like the accolade temp powers like Frag Gendade, Tear Gas, Sleep Gas, Heal, Rez, Rune of Purification, Beguile, etc.
My main collected all his Day Jobs ages ago and still makes sure to log off in appropriate areas to recharge temps! -
*It would be acceptable to refer to 'hanky panky' as a two-person TF. It is not acceptable to do speed run TFs.

Any SW novel by Timothy Zahn, the Thrawn trilogy is commonly the best place to start. If you like stormtroopers, esp Allegience.
I also enjoyed the second half of Death Star. Once it caught up to the movie timeline it became a lot more interesting.
People rave about the Imperial Commando series, but I guess you have to read them in order for them to be any good. I made the mistake of picking up 501st: An Imperial Commando Novel and it was as exciting as watching Aunt Beru knit a gundark sweater!
The Force Unleashed books look good, but I haven't read 'em yet. If they're anything like the game, tho, they should rock. -

Hey all, sorry I missed this week's run. RL is catching up to me and I'll be taking a break from the MA-ST for a bit. Hope you all have a great holiday season and I'll see ya around the city soon, I'm sure.

Quote:Agreed. I play on the MA Superteam, which is a group that gets together to play AE arcs for the story. Even when the leader copy/pastes into teamchat all the dialogue that the rest of the team would normally miss, I feel an obligation to play at a faster pace so I don't hold up the group. Or, when leading, even more pressure to copy/paste the info fast enough so the team doesn't get bored and read faster to keep the team moving.Yes, I do. the reason has nothing to do with you, really, but is caused by two factors: I prefer to go at my own pace rather than be pulled along or held back by a group (and with the dogs I own, I often have to be absent unexpectedly for varying amounts of time), the second being the way the game has been set up since the jump: only the mission-holder gets to read the mission text. What good is your awesome story if I can't see 80% of it? In that situation, all I'm doing is beating up mobs I'd otherwise see in the outside game and getting crappy rewards to boot.
So yes, I solo AE arcs. I want to read what you wrote, not just kill stuff mindlessly while flavor dialogue zips past too fast for me to read, nevermind savor.
This means I will sometimes skim the text and my experience of the story suffers from it. Just like canon content, I prefer to solo it so I can give the story my full attention.
This doesn't keep me away from AE arcs, but it definitely makes me more choosy. -
Would you say we have a "plethora" of content?

Expression: Loved it, Comparisson to Cats: Much better, Personal Follow-up Actions: Buy again and again.

Quote:Logging in and out for Day Jobs I noticed it will make you re-enter your password the first time you do it but works fine as long as you only swap to alts on the same servers.I'd agree if it didn't say 'account already logged in' every time and make me log in again.
Once you change servers it will prompt for password again on the first Quit to Character Select then works fine for all others on until you switch servers again.
example:Quit to Character Select on Justice #1: Goes to Login, not Character Select
So, as long as you swap on the same server you don't notice how borked the system is.
-Select an alt on Justice
Quit to Character Select on Justice #2: Goes to Character Select
-Select an alt on Justice
Quit to Character Select on Justice #3: Goes to Character Select
-Select an alt on Triumph (or other server than Justice)
Quit to Character Select on Triumph #1: Goes to Login, not Character Select
-Select an alt on Triumph
Quit to Character Select on Triumph #2: Goes to Character Select -
It's like Nostalgia Chick for Math!! I think my head just exploded AND I need to change my pants.
