its even funnier if you promptly beat down the Outcast who said that when you're a sword user.

Seriously, get her come blues for her caffeine tier nine crashes and you should be fine. Greens too if the Caffeine tier nine involves HP loss too

Seeing Mother Mayhem listed as a Mind/Psi Dominator and only using Will Domination, Subdue, and Psionic Tornado is a bit upsetting.
And we should, perhaps, remove the /energy manipulation from Maelstrom as his secondary.

All in all, I'm on board with this.
but I think whoever wrote the GR character info on the site... was pulling things out of their butts. Well, back stories aside.

*However* I would also rebalance the SR defenses so that they did not just scale upward with archetype. Toggles would increase from 13.875% to 15%. Passives would increase to 7.5%. Fully slotted Tanker SR goes up from 30.42% (scrapper) to 35.1%.

    SR for Tankers:

Defensive toggles: 15% to melee, ranged, AoE
Defensive passives: 7.5% to melee, ranged, AoE, plus scaling resists zero to 25% all but toxic and psi per passive
Practiced Brawler: Mez protection; +10% MaxHealth 120s dur, enhanceable; 15% resistance to toxic, enhanceable.

Something like that would be a good starting point, tweakable in beta testing. Not saying I would necessarily recommend this, just that this is what I would do if I was tasked with doing it.
Wait, you're suggesting these changes could be applied to SCRAPPERS, STALKERS, AND BRUTES AS WELL?!

I love you Aracanaville and so does my DB/SR brute and my kat/SR scrapper.
  6. Eldritch Esoterica (grav/psi dom on virt)/Elder Machina (mind/kind troller on Pinn) has a very simple one that should hopefully help explain everything: "The Necronomicon ... bound in human flesh and written in human blood."

  8. Hmmm... my own proposals could be, using something of the Swap ammo power selection tech, we could make it so that grabbing evasion becomes like getting two powers at once. you get the defense toggle and a taunt aura that costs no additional endurance, this might even be applicable for brutes.

Now as for the problems with this: SR, as people have mentioned, is a one-trick pony. It's a VERY good trick, but that's not enough tricks for a tank.
Scaling resists tend to do barely anything for even brutes, let alone scrappers and stalkers.
My own solution to that would be to give the passives an additional, base-line resistance bonus. Perhaps a small resistance boost and all three stacking to something... appreciable (possibly totaling no more than 15%), or have each one give specific resistances. Given that we can see the defense values on an SR tank would be sizable with the toggles alone, we could even possibly sacrifice the defense and/or scaling resists values of the passives.
But Arcanaville has pointed out that we need to ask if SR really DESERVES this treatment? My SR scrapper can work wonders, both solo and on a team. Just NEVER as him to tank because he will lose aggro and you WILL faceplant. (but on the bonus side, I have vengeance. so you help me, even in defeat)
Then there's the fact that these additions may make shield defense obsolete and SR tanks too powerful. Take into consideration that a tank has about 25% more HP than a brute (if I recall), and while the passive, scaling resists for SR are unaffected by AT mods, with all three, you can end up with +40% resistances to all but toxic and psionic, on top of any possible added defense.

As one person put it: Regen and SR are, perhaps, the most difficult armor sets to proliferate because it took so long to get them balanced for its original AT.

    Women. Go figure ...
My reasoning for this is because Sister Psyche and Statesman have both seen the horrors the human (or sentient) soul is capable of. They've seen the absolute, black underside of the world and ultimately face it differently.
Manticore has managed to see this side of people as well, and his response was "set up Wyvern" and "take the fight to them", whereas Statesman's seems to be "fight it with more idealism!", and thus, Sister Psyche fell in love with the fact that Manticore was realistic about things, and being human, helped keep the night immortal Sister Psyche from losing touch with the world as anything more than a sea of thoughts.
just my Wild mass guess. *Puts on tinfoil hat*

In truth, I don't mind her much at all.
My first mission with her, I was one a blaster, and I was able to basically shoot things before she could see them, and then when they took few steps WHAM! double blaster, double barreled beatdown!
My next time was on a tank, which meant I was able to keep everything taunted AND she provided some MUCH needed additional firepower to compliment my tanker's dismal damage output.
The there was the time I was on a scrapper. ... Poor girl was struggling to keep up with my scrapperlock.

Point. Though I personally don't mind just because, otherwise, there'd be NO WAY to determine if what you're dealing with is an automaton or not.
Then there's also the fact that Nemesis has already been kind-of-over-the-top with how he uses steam-tech that's magically superior to non-steam-tech counterparts. Even up to having his own force field Generators (Fake Nemesis), and being able to create portal tech with it. It can be a bit relieving that not EVERYTHING he makes is perfect.
Besides, at least they're not as bad as Robo Ky from Guilty Gear franchise
  13. Here's a bit of my own question in light of all this Praetorian invasion stuff:
Where the heck are the militaries of earth? Shouldn't they be quarantining Paragon City for the duration of the attack and moving citizens out even if they're completely powerless against the invaders?
How can a Seer be weak against a punch from an Incarnate character and yet apparently be immune to a gatling gun mounted on a low-flying A-10?

I apologize for being so nitpicky, it's just that we've only really seen shades of what Military tech and training is likely to be through Malta, Longbow, Arachnos (given that they are the state militia), the Vanguard, and the Paragon Police Department?
This is especially interesting to try to consider how the National militia must be in relation to the technological advances in-universe.

For example, it's mentioned that most heroes back during World War II could not defeat a Panzer tank. Flash forward and heroes find themselves regularly fighting foes who was, in their description, described as possessing both firepower and durability favorably compared to a tank.

And there are countless other off-hand mentions that just makes this subject very tantalizing.

I'm not talking about 'Everything is a Nemesis Plot', because people do that about governements and organisations in real life. Its believable. But he should be cold, calculating, the sort of villain who irrevocably believes he is right and you, you silly little child, are wrong. Like when he's talking to Lady Grey in the RWZ diplomacy mission. THAT is spot on. Some other stuff? Less so. Like the automatons....dear god, this guy is a genius, at least credit him with automatons that actually do their damn job. I know it could all be part of a 'He WANTS you to see them!' sorta plot, but even so...it's meh. Very meh.
This is why I love Eternal Nemesis, the Mender Silos Reveal, and the RWZ arcs.
Those are honest instances where you REALLY see Nemesis pull off an honest plot. Though somewhere in my mind I have an odd feeling that Nemesis himself knows about the memetic mutation about him, and revels in it. He probably loves sometimes tossing out random things to lead everyone on wild goose chases or just watch how badly people wet themselves because they don't know what he's really planning.

Send out a few soldiers who make vague mentions of 'a big plan/operation/order', they get arrested, set up a few buildings full or automatons and watch people $h*t bricks as they scramble like chickens with their heads cut off.

the problem is, the reason WHY Lord Recluse hates Statesman above all else is because Marcus is very STRONGLY about order, but ours has a decent level of conscious to avoid going to the extremes like Reichsman or Tyrant. On the flipside, Lord Recluse is actually a very true Darwinist, meaning he'll allow just about anything if you prove you have the strength for it, and it's why he's accepting of villains even defeating him (but he doesn't like Heroes doing it because he feels heroes will just give their power over to the weak) at the end of the final redside arcs. (Part of me suspected that Operation: DESTINY was because Lord Recluse wants to find a villain who might be a worthy successor. not that he plans to go down, but just in case)
So Tyrant probably just reminds Lord Recluse why he hates Statesman in the first place (as well as believing that Marcus always saw himself as better than him. Something Tyrant probably did when Richter was still alive but Primal Marcus probably didn't) and might even see/use Tyrant to motivate himself (and possibly Arachnos) to defeat Statesman. With a small bit of fear that Statesman's victory over villainy would result in Primal Earth becoming another Praetoria.
This kind of makes it amazing Lord Recluse even tolerates Malta since they too are control freaks (or at least would be from Lord Recluse's standpoint).

Statesman's been having it hard for a while now.
He's been kidnapped twice by the Praetorians (And by what you find in Mother Mayhem's hospital, it seems this time the captivity was a lot more painful), curb stomped by Reichsman, then Tyrant, high level VEATs who see the terrible arc through to the end, beaten up in the Lord Recluse SF in both the present and future, he can't help fight Lord Recluse in his own TF for risk of getting curb stomped by Lord Recluse himself, and his grand daughter's grown up to be a militant nutjob who nearly crosses the line one too many times...

(WARNING: NEXT PART INVOLVES MY SHIPPER GOGGLES BEING ON)
And sister Psyche, probably the one woman he might be able to relate with, married Manticore.

Top all this with his other tragedies, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to bed at night sucking a tenth bottle of whiskey while crying over a photo album of him and his wife.

Oh, let's not forget that the Well of Furies can take control of him, anytime, anywhere, and there's not a damn thing he can do to stop it or fight it when he didn't even know what he was getting into when he drank from the Fountain (if I recall, he was just trying to get cured from his exposure to mustard seed gas), and was likely killed in the future Mender Remial/your future self showed you.
