    The devs recently gave that buff to Infernal's Demons/Behemoths, and changed the Family's salvage drops to Tech. Both of those seem like movements AGAINST farming.

    qft. Even more idiotic is the idea that you need IOs to play the game. That's inherent assumption that be shown to be false by just about everyone in the market forum. That and that farmers make prices go up.

    Which is [censored]-backwards assumption which the devs have denounced repeatedly.

    It's not the reason I made this suggestion.

    The reason was to get rid of thread after thread complaining about farm and filler spam.

    The MA already takes care of auto-sking so no real reason for bridges anymore.

    If the folks using AE could generate their own spawn sizes it would kill the need to farm that. I would even suggest the devs make it a bannable offense as you'd no longer need to do that.

    Also if you notice in my suggestion I suggested that they be scaled to BOSSES as the mobs go up in level of difficulty past 5. At Rating 8, ALL of the 8-man sized spawn is BOSSES. If a user can handle that solo, good luck to them.

    Farming throws off the market. It exploits a very small amount of content with low risk/high reward ratio. It annoys people who don't farm or dislike the idea of it when they get tells asking to farm or pad or bridge.

    Farming is not suggested by the Devs. Farming is not a well liked practice and, for that reason, the Devs have consistently altered the way things are handled to -avoid- farming.

    Asking the Devs to put something in the game solely for the purpose of farming when they have time and again shown that they don't condone the act is a waste of time. I'll be bookmarking this response to copy-paste to all further farming threads.

    The folks who DESPISE farming would no longer need to see it.
    The folks who want to farm would no longer need to bother anyone.
    The folks who want to farm will continue to do so and pay their same monthly fee.
    The folks who don't want to farm won't get random tells and can go about pretending that farming doesn't exist.

    I don't see an issue here.

    Keep in mind this could ALSO be used to make some tfs harder. Already beaten MOSTF or MOLRSF, fine, now you challenge yourself even more!

  11. Suggestion: (Assuming this can be done without it being a coding nightmare).

    Allow a solo player to spawn larger mob sizes.

    Call it a new difficulty rating of (after invincible): I'm not married to the names.

    Insanity (Challenge Rating: 6)
    All mob spawns are spawned as if there are 6 players on the team. Whether the entire map is revealed is irrelevant. ALL mobs on the map, seen or unseen would spawn with the right number. More bosses per spawn.

    Demonic (Challenge Rating: 7)
    All mob spawns are spawned as if there are 7 players on the team. Whether the entire map is revealed is irrelevant. ALL mobs on the map, seen or unseen would spawn with the right number. Nearly all the spawns are bosses.

    Despair (Challenge Rating: 8)
    All mob spawns are spawned as if there are 8 players on the team. Whether the entire map is revealed is irrelevant. ALL mobs on the map, seen or unseen would spawn with the right number. All of the spawns are bosses.

    Pros:
    1. No need to no longer spam in ANY zone for fillers/anchors/padders, etc. as they would no longer be needed.
    2. You could invite folks who like to destroy huge numbers of mobs for challenge (some pvpers and some pvers like this) simply for the challenge and not cause you need fillers.
    3. The devs could then make it against the EULA to spam the airwaves for fillers, as they would no longer be needed.

    Good idea or bad idea? What are the cons against this?

    First of all, an event is NOT the same as an SG. If you feel the need to compare your SG to something, stick to another SG.

    Second, I never heard of Repeat Offenders until this thread.
    Did I miss them on the updater?
    Did I mess them in the MotD?
    Did I miss them in the Ciry Scoop?
    Did I miss them in the Players Choice award winners?



    If your SG sponsors events, then they should be proud of themselves. But, that holds no relevance to a plaque for Tanker Tuesday.

    I'm all for plaques . . . for every event and every group that makes it to 5 years, RO included.

    If the devs feel it should be done sure.

    However the plaque should be on EVERY server. If the event is truly cross server, then the plaque should be.

    There would be little point to selling IOs,salvage, recipes, etc. you can't use if you can just easily mail them to an alt.

    That WOULD have a more negative impact on the market. That's enough to /unsign it right there.

    If we had a game pop like WoW's where there are enough sellers to offset it, then that's a different story. Unfortunately we don't. Our population of market users is so small that any things done that take extra supply off the market has an effect (see merits).

    Brawl is already a fast recharging attack. Fire/kin and fire/rad were both AV soloing builds before IO's and sets came along. They'll go back to being only mildly overpowered.

    Errrm no they won't. They will still being doing what they are doing.

    Fire Imps is the least of what allows them to be able to do what they do, including soloing AVs if they could before.

    If this nerfbuff was targeted at them. It failed.

    Completed this last night.

    No Nukes/Shivans

    Was pretty fun. It can be done faster once you know what you're doing. Hami was the longest part since we only had two people. ;P Basically we died after each of his mitos was taken down, until towards the end of the yellows, we stopped aggroing hami for some reason and killed the rest with ease.

    Hami himself was somewhat easy, since phantom army distracted him for seconds at a time. I didn't know that hami could kill them. we thought it was only recluse that could kill them. There were more deaths of mainly myself. :< I draw too much aggro...but I didn't have time to show them all. ahhaha

    all of the video is sped up to fit in the 10 min youtube window....so sorry if you get a little dizzy. plus my video editor was not very happy while i was doing this. :<

    Our next stop is a 2 man Lord Recluse Strike Force

    now HOW dowes this tie into I 14?, well they gotta fix things anyways, and you know people want to make Arachnos NPC's and characters, So this would be the best time to fix that little mess up.. you know they one that was caused by makeing the Arachnos characters like everything else non epic?, yeah that one AKA the NERF =-)

    Been hinted at that there might be a few more things RELATED to MA in issue 14. HOWEVER, they've been hinting for a while now (months actually) that because of all the complex work related to MA, issue 14 is pretty much generally all about MA.

    Issue 15 is the one that returns to the good stuff, though no word on what yet. (Though one can assume from various dev comments, its back to powerset prolif, some dev created content, etc, etc).

    EDIT: Not to imply that Issue 14 isn't good stuff. Cause it is. Actually it's more like EPIC WIN stuff.
