  1. You have a talent for interior design, Morgan - I love the garden. As for Blindfaith's work...
Only wish I could do that.
  2. I think that only Ill/* Controllers will be needed, seeing as it is a PA (Phantom Army) drop and Illusion is the only pool with that power...
  3. For the last 10-12 levels on my PB I hardly shifted into Dwarf or Nova at all? Why? Because playing with that few power is damn boring. Yes, dwarfs can tank nicely, but the low damage.... smells, and novas, as Lui so eloquently put, die very quickly - too quickly to merit the extra damage.
On the other hand I consider human form PBs to be quirky and varied, and a whole heap of fun to play. Personally I think that PBs do nice damage, photon seekers and incandescent strike being my two favourites.
  4. I was fairly sure that build up didn't effect seekers...

    Is it just me?

At low levels accuracy is always a (very annoying) issue. However, I think that maybe that was just unlucky, as I have found the dark melee set accurate, and I know one of my friends has too.

    Who's top gun?

Just looked at the blaster PvP list and noticed a serious lack of Jag - an energy/energy blaster who can own things in mere nanoseconds.
  7. I only teamed with you a few times Tridento, but I thought you were really good at smacking stuff
    Congratulations!
  8. I chose claws for my stalker and I'm glad I did. Having played a blaster and a peacebringer (i.e. toons with ranged attacks), I would have felt lost without a ranged attack, but there are two good/reasonable ranged attacks here. I like focus to chase down running wusses in Siren's Call, and the Assassin's Strike, Eviscerate, Shockwave/Focus and a final slash makes for very nice damage. Plus, if you've been knocked out of hide, eviscerate has some chance to score a critical out of hide. Although having said that, it won't always hit a critical IN hide...
  9. Thanks to everyone
A convincing argument for Mako has been made, and I think I will use water spout more as a panic button than an all out attack. Mako also fits quite nicely with my stalker as a concept (Chef d'Aubergine could make shark fin soup?). Also, I like attacks with added extras, and a snipe doesn't really cut it as claws already has a rather nice ranged attack in the form of focus.

    Once again, thanks!
  10. Personally I prefer photon seekers to any other kheldian attack. When three slotted with accuracy SOs they seem to gain a modicum (although they're still REALLY thick) of intelligence. They have awesome damage when used correctly, and have a slightly amusing animation. I would never dream of getting rid of them

  12. Right, I've been doing some research as I have to pick a patron soon. However, I am undecided between Captain Mako and Ghost Widow (sorry if someone has already posted this, searched and didn't see anything). I have read the plaques, these forums and the US forums, and talked to other stalkers but I am still really torn up. I suppose it really comes down to Moonbeam or Water Spout. I'm a claws/ninjitsu (mainly PvE), so in my position what would you take and why?
