Shnyet AWAY
I found that mine was really weak though and it was very hard to solo with
the only use ive found for it is build up and incandesant strike on stalkers
and healing little people in atlas hehe
Edit: my peacebringer is 10 lvls high than urs :P
So naff that you just had to get one to 50. Maybe you need a better build!
3 dmg SO's in each attack n stil weak, what do you have to say now
I'd say judging how strong a character is just on how much damage they do is not a good way of judging.
Try 2 recharge in each attack, hasten, conserve power and lightform and then see how weak you feel.
Personally, I thought the photons rocked if you just cast them in the middle of a big group of foes. Highest BI of any "attack" in the game.

My PB has no planned build but i think i am actually past halfway of wrecklessly making a good one imo. I didnt know what to get next but i think i do now!
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

Oh I'm not saying they are bad - love it when you get that little mini nuke on a group! Just wish I could target a void at the end of the room and watch them streak in for a kill (like the word 'seeker' would imply they should).

wow, photon seekers that seek, now that is a new idea ;-)

I believe we may be onto something here........

[color=dodgerblue] would be far better if we could just type /e explode, show them how to do it
They do a decent amount of damage when they actually do bother to attack something. I use them as just another attack in the chain when they're available but you have to be at point blank range. For such an inaccurate attack they have a remarkably long recharge time though and there nearly always seems to be at least one left hanging around doing nothing.
I agree, they could be better but they're not useless by any means
Personally I prefer photon seekers to any other kheldian attack. When three slotted with accuracy SOs they seem to gain a modicum (although they're still REALLY thick) of intelligence. They have awesome damage when used correctly, and have a slightly amusing animation. I would never dream of getting rid of them
Well yes they are abit thick but i love mine pop build up first then slam um right in your enemys face there great for making up an attack chain if your a pure human build pb like me.
I was fairly sure that build up didn't effect seekers...
Oh i didnt know if it did or didnt , the changes made in i7 didnt effect build up then?, oh hell never mind
Nope, doesn't affect them. Which was partly the reason for my original post.
Hehehe will i guess i should read the whole post in future so as not to make myself look like a total fool
Bit of thread necromancy here, but I'd like to throw an idea out there.
Photon Seekers don't seek enemies well, this appears to be a known problem with their AI.
How about making them automatically home in on your current target at maximum speed instead whenever you release them? This would make them a lot more useful than they currently are, whilst still allowing for the point-blank release 'mini nuke' method that many PBs prefer.
The Seekers themselves can already fly at a very decent speed, but they currently usually seem to choose not to until they actually lock onto an enemy (which may never happen until they expire even in a crowded mob).
In keeping with the 'pet' idea though, if the seekers were fired off without a target currently selected then they could behave as they do right now and hang about waiting for a target to come into range (though preferably with slightly "tweaked" AI... Fire Imps seem to home in on nearby targets perfectly easily!)
I've thought about that before. Images of locking onto a sapper and then watching him and his nearby friends go boom was very nice. Might be a little overpowered if they can home in around corners and the like...
New patch on test!!

Tweaked all versions of Photon Seekers so they should be more responsive.
[/ QUOTE ]
Whooo!!! The devs still listen!
Well considering it would be hard for them to be less responsive...
Anyone tested them?
Are they ever going to get any from the Devs? They are as stupid as they come which often means that you waste time and End using them only to see them fly off (even when used right in a mobs face). ED meant that their potential damage was cut by a third but unlike pretty much every other attack there is no way to buff them back up.
I've never seen them but I've heard that MM seeker drones are everything Photon Seekers should be so how come our poor little seekers continue to be ignored.
I was hoping that buffable pets in I7 would include the seekers but not so (although some people think WS pets might be getting buffs but that could be a bug).
