Sort of a threadjack-
Does anyone know if the Pentad badge is bugged? Thats the last one I need for the arena. -
Got em. Less sneaky then I thought. Thx for the help
-
Oh, and by the way , to all those who sent me private messages over the past two weeks, I sincerely apoligize for not responding. Up until 5 minutes ago, I didn't realize there WERE private messages on the boards. And I've been playing for 7 years. So , you know. Go me.

Hello Freedom loving fredomites.
Trying to get my hands on the MO TPN badge ere the holidays completely mess up our gaming schedules.
I only (and Im sure others need) the timey wimey badge, but Im willing to help get the others, as they do not impact the trial at all, and in fact help it go smoother.
I will be sheep herding starting at 7:15 , and starting about 7:30. Im gonna try to run this twice.
3 things to remember-
No Aoes outside. They mess with the cameras and any civillian casualties will muck up the public opinion.
For the second part of the run I will designate 4 tankers/brutes to do Seer control. All other toons will be in the buildings with me.
In the buildings we pull to the center of the room, and smash with AOE's. Scrappers will engage the techs immediately as it is not required that the IDF be defeated, only out of range. With the remainder of the party packing judgements and other crap, we should be fine, and do it on time.
Healers must form a love heal circle around Heavy D. (HD) so he doesn't get squishified.
If you can, check the maps out for the location of the entrances. the black building is always a peach to find, especially when taking fire from rock throwing lvl 53 civillians.
Hope to see u there. -
Keyes is by far the most difficult. Its the moby dick of badges.
I had a hard time with LGTF, until I figured the Hami out.
I think the Mo Apex is pretty darn easy. -
Quick Question -
Can you buy the present with candy canes, or do you have to hunt and peck them? -
Apologies to those who were waiting for me in pocket d last nite. I became obsessed with getting my gold medal skiing, then very, very nauseous as a result of the run. But after making another build, six slotting super speed, I finally got it!
Anyhoo, I'm running a joint TPN/MoM tonite (see my other post)
Hope to see u there. -
Anybody who's looking for a TPN tonite, I will be trying for the badge.
And then making my annual pilgrimage to the ski slope to try to bag the extra gold. Hopefully with ninja run and afterburner i can finally get it. -
I heard tell there was a badge for giving a gift and receiving a gift this year.
Trying to get some confirmation from those in the know. -
Howdy folks.
Please join me in a dual trial run on Friday night. First up is the MoM, and spinning the roulette wheel to try to get the final nightmare for the master of badge. Pretty much have this one down to a science. I can see this becoming as fast as a BAF or LAM soon.
Second part of the night will be a TPN run for the broadcast badge . Thats a bit of a chore, as we all know, but I'm a gonna try. worst case scenario I get peeps some badges they don't have.
I'm going to start Carnival Barking around 7:15 or so, and hope to depart around 7:30. Hope to see you there. -
Well thanks to Kotch I just need the time badge for TPN. Thats gonna be fun to get.
-
Its. Cool.
I took the reins and Led some peeps. We got 3 badges in one shot!
Sorry you missed the fun. -
Yay, then I can join u for the TPN!
-
I will join in the festivities.
Atomic Saint, plus 3 , tier 4 rad def who occasionally remembers he can heal. Plus I wanna see her pop up and down like a Jiffy Pop container. -
I'll be on tonite to participate in whatever shenanigans that transpire. I'd like to knock that TPN trial out as it seems to be the harder of the 2.
-
I am one of those less fortunate individuals.
How in the hell do you guys rack up the time to get this done so fast? I had to sneak on a TPN last night with Kotchie and I got so much wife aggro that I think I'll be in debt until Xams. -
Bit of an edit,
When I posted this I had no idea the other trials were live.
So I'll be carnival barking for a (reasonable) time on Friday, and If there aren't enough takers, I'm going to can this in favor of the new MoM and TPN trials.
Or, if I DO get enough takers, I'll run those immediately after. -
Hello, Freedom. Going to attempt to run this yet again in hopes of scarfing one of the three badges I don't have yet -
Bunker Buster (take down all doors of a bunker in 3 seconds, rinse, repeat on the other 2 in 2 minutes total)
Avoids the Green Stuff ( don't get caught in the snot covered obliteration beam)
Loves a challenge (Don't croak in the final battle. Nobody. nope not a one.)
There are no joining requirements for this other than for you to have an obsessive compulsive desire for these badges, and to be able to LISTEN to your team leader(s).
These badges require coordination and reading comprehension.
If you meet these requirements, hope to see you there.
<EDIT>
Due to the new Trials going live, I'm postponing this for a week or so. Most of the hard cores are still wrapped up in MoM and TPN, and to be honest, I want to join in. So, In a couple of weeks I will fire this bad boy up. -
Generally by 10:00 PM I am into my sixth or seventh beer, and will lack the mental faculties required to organize such an event.

Title says it all, folks.
We've gotten good at the AM AM badge and have crap luck with the rest. For whatever reason, bunker buster, which SHOULD be easy, vexes us. The other two I don't even wanna talk about.
So, come one come all for this edition of the MO saga. The trial itself is not that hard anymore, and doesn't take much longer than A BAF or LAM if we're not stringing AM along for a badge.
We will be focusing on the last 3 badges of the trial this week for speed sake so we can get at least 2 runs in before everybody becomes frustrated, curses me out, and abandons me to run content that doesn't make you want to cry.
Hope to see you there for all the fun! -
Just a bump for anyone interested in the Trial.
-
Viper- Ill probably run it twice, so there's no reason we cant anti anti it up again.

Its hard to try to keep the TV show aspects away from the comic. Especially when I think the comic has done a much better job up to this point.
The Positive- The adventures of super Daryl and his magic crossbow are always a high point every episode. There's something about a muscular Larry the Cable Guy type acting competent in a ZA that makes for great watching.
The 5 minute scene at the beginning (the helicopters napalming Atlanta) was worth the price of admission alone. I would pay GOOD money to watch the weeks of the actual apocalypse, and the fruitless efforts to stop it.
Shane going coo coo for cocoa puffs is getting good. I cant wait for the inevitable confrontation between Shane and Rick.
The Not so Positive - Andrea. I absolutely adore her in the comic. She's smart, strong, independent, and a valued member of team Grimes. The TV version is not so much.
Rick- Stop. Whining.
T-Dog- Where the HELL is Tyrese? I dunno what the writers were thinking when they decided not to include Tyrese in this show . T-Dog isn't remotely the character Tyrese was in the comic.
The pacing has GOT top pick up. Its soap opera slow. I needs moar zombie killing.
That being said, I enjoy the show very much and watch it first run. I can only hope it gets better.
