It's more like - run in, get glowies, hostages, etc., abandon mission, rinse, repeat. If people are actually doing that, consider my mind blown. I am simply astonished by how far out of their way some people will go to NOT play the game.
But I think the bigger question is this - Who wanted an abandon mission feature? And for what? Especially now that we can carry up to 7 missions, is it really needed? And what purpose does it serve? You still can't get out of old arcs with it, or advance the arc along toward completion.
I would much rather they do away with the abandon mission feature and roll back missions to the way they used to be. -
I'm really disappointed that there won't be a HeroCon this year. I planned for it all year, and looked forward to it more than anything. Thank you for a great two years. I'll be at the next one... if there is one.
Origins is a pretty good con, but I don't think there is enough time to get it together to go there. Ditto Wizard World Philly.
Dragon*Con would be a great choice, but since it is the same weekend as PAX, it would mean splitting your resources, which may not be fun (or feasible).
So I think your best bet is GenCon. It's in the midwest, doesn't seem to conflict with anything else, and is wildly popular. Plus, there is still plenty enough time to give us ample notice if you'll be there. I have to echo what other people have said and politely ask that you give us more than two weeks' notice that you'll be at an event, and please don't wait until the event is already sold out! -

Yeah, this bums me out a lot. I just can't justify flying to California for a one day thing. So, hopefully they come to either Wizard World Philadelphia or DragonCon in Atlanta. Those are much more doable, for me, for a short M&G.

Hey all. Since some of you have asked me about it, I'd thought I'd post this here.
This weekend was supposed to be a Sunday Special weekend, but I totally forgot that Sunday is Mother's Day.
I'm going to be all kinds of busy that day, and I imagine a lot of you will be, too.
So we're going to hold off a week and do it next Sunday instead. I'll have the sign up sheet ready on Monday.

I'm certainly no expert on this, but in my mind, it would make sense. By the end of this thing, you're going to have four Yellow Mitos on you. I think any kind of diversion would help.

The biggest issue always seem to be people not listening about when they need to pop their EoEs. When in doubt, pop an EoE. Nothing more frustrating than watching a dozen or so people buffed to the gills getting defeated and rezzed without any buffs.

You may have heard that the Green Mitos are currently bugged so that they can't be held. I heard that on Virtue tonight, they fought the Greens for 40 minutes and only managed to kill two or three of them. Because of that, I canceled the raid I normally lead on Monday nights. Enri also canceled his villain raid for Tuesday night.
I don't know how other raid leaders feel about this, but I am putting my raids on hiatus until the situation is resolved. -
That's why I love my local comic shop. Their limit is one of each title per person. Yay for 28 free comics and a HeroClix!

This is a good time to get to know your independent comic book sellers, if you haven't already, and enjoy some free comics.
Also, stores usually run great deals and specials on FCBD, which is always a plus.
