  1. A rare selection, but I get a kick out of "The Chipmunk Song" by The Lost Dogs.

Also like Emmanuel by Amy Grant. Also also Carol of the Bells (Ring Christmas Bells)
  2. > People in BMT get kicked when they deserve it

Yep. Whenever people run their mouth in BMT, Cobalt gives them (myself included, doh) a warning. When they don't shut up, they get kicked. I'm all for welcoming new blood in, but if people can't follow simple directions, do we really want them cluttering up the place?
  3. Dying? No way.

Most of the time when I get on (evenings, EST), TFs usually get filled within minutes of being broadcast. Sometimes while I'm still thinking about joining one, BMT broadcasts "TF full! Thanks!" :-\

I've gotten in on one Hamidon raid but the past two filled up about 30 minutes before game time.

(Been kicked from SGs like 3 times on Virtue because my toon hadn't logged in for 2 or 3 weeks... Jerks! I wish I could give my prestige to BMT!)

    Dazzy's Quest

Dazz, the bestest "cookie" I've ever had are known as Magic Cookie Bars, although I call them Grumblecakes in honor of the relevant Strong Bad email.
    Seriously. The best.

    1 stick butter
7 graham crackers (full-size), or 1.5 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 14oz can of sweetened condensed milk
    2 c. (12 oz bag) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanut butter chips (optional)
    1.5 c. coconut
    1 c. chopped walnuts

Melt the butter and line the pan (13 x 9") with it. If you're using whole crackers, use a rolling pin to crush them. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over butter. Pour on the condensed milk. Sprinkle on the chips, the coconut, and finally the nuts. Press with fork to even it up.

Bake 25 mins at 350 deg or until lightly browned. (325 deg if using glass pan)

Cut into bars once cooled. Store in fridge if you don't nom nom them all!!

Good thing there's isn't such a thing as a Master of Dr. Quarterfield badge. It would have gone down like:

Hypermech BoomKitty: Are we going for MoDQ?
    WittyLibrarian: Yes, we--urgh!
    ** CHALLENGE FAILED! **
Hypermech BoomKitty: WTF? We hadn't even started yet!
Artorios Rex: I think the edge of the stargate whacked him in the noggin.

Pardon my ignorance, but it seems like the only way *not* to have Stamina is for just about every one of your powers to be slotted with an Invention set with a recovery bonus. But prior to I8, how would you manage?
  16. A friend of mine talked her morbidly obese friend to subscribe so that her special needs son could play. Finally she did, but she ended up playing all the time and her son never did. She played for hours daily with one toon, and dinged 50 in a few weeks. Then she said "All my round thingies are red." Yes, turns out she dinged 50 with a bunch of low-level TOs. In her latter levels, she started getting kicked from teams because she was so clueless.
  17. Consolidated Day Job Status Page

If you have a lot of different heroes, each gaining credit on different day jobs, something that would be mighty handy is a data screen on the login page which shows earned day job credit for each job, for each hero. That way, you would know at a glance which of your toons needs to be logged in in order to get played or to relocate to a different day job. The status of each could color-coded to make it even easier... going from red to orange, yellow, green, and finally blue if it's "maxed out".
  18. Please please please change time-based mission awards to be "tokenized" awards, that don't get claimed until you finish a mission. I would assume that the devs want to encourage team-based play as much as possible, but IMO the existing reward clocks encourage solo play, for folks who see it ticking down and exclaim, "Aaah!! I have to go do a mission before I lose my bonus!!" But with a reward token, they have time to check out their bids at Wentworth's, read and reply to any email, review the prestige standings in their supergroup, and take their time locating (or building) a team without the pressure of the reward clock(s) counting down the whole time.
