  1. I will do my best to expedite my wife's blood work *looks for vampire*
The delay will be Dillard's and I know it....speaking for myself when I go shopping, I know what I want, I get it, pay and leave. My wife....eh....not so much.
  2. 11AM might be a bit difficult for me.
I have to take the misses to get some blood work done in the morning, as well as to go to the banks and she needed to go to Dillards as well. I figured to be all done by 11 and back home in time to start the Dr. Q. The possible earlier start time might be a problem.

As such, put me down as a reserve instead of as active. Hopefully, I can get everything done before that time, but I don't want to hold you all up.

    I hope you understand.
  3. Anything can be done.... =)

Personally, I could not pick 7 without slighting so many others, and it would take me hours to think of all the folks I would consider to be the elite/legendary players as well as other factors (ability to play the game, contributions to the server, etc.) Needless to say as I mentioned, those on the list now would certainly get my vote. But it's good food for thought, indeed!
  4. It's almost impossible to put together a list of 7, it would be easier to have a sort of Guardian "Hall Of Fame" and not limit it to 7 (or maybe 7 of each AT instead). There are many, many folks I could start naming and the list would overflow from the folks I have had the pleasure to have run with over the years.

That being said, those names mentioned on the list are all exceptional choices.

Thank you, that's what I thought it was, for some reason I read it as being able to run both. Time to edit my original post.
  7. Speaking for myself (and everyone has their own opinion and method), I am not totally against the PUG. Often in morning Shard TF runs, I end up having to get some players I have never played with before. For the most part, they play well and I would not have a problem in having PUG in regular TF runs.

Now, if it's a Master run, I would want a more seasoned player who knows how to play his/her character as well as can follow instructions closely and accurately. That alone helps any Master runs chance of success. I have been a part of many Mo runs with Capa who runs a tight ship and the reason I even have Mo badges is solely due to the way she runs the Mo's.

Each player has his/her own way to interact with other players (whether they are "newbies" or senior citizens of the game. In the end, for myself...I try to open the doors to anyone. I do have a couple of folks that are blocked, after giving them more than one chance. I try to be a little more tolerant of newbies and try to lend them a helping hand from time to time. I didn't get help playing the game when I started. After 6+ years, I hope I have gotten to the point that I can pass along some knowledge to a newbie and if I can, I will. If it helps them enjoy the game and keep them engaged in the game, then I feel I did my little itty bitty part.

Guardian is a great community and this has been my home for my entire time in this game, so much so that I don't have another character on any other server. I have met many wonderful players that I interact with outside the confines of the game. This community far extends the game itself and it's a testament to the many good folks here.
  8. Pardon my ignorance, but I was under the understanding that a vigilante can't run a redside CoP? Am I mistaken?

***I was mistaken (heroes and vigilantes - blue) and (rogue and villains - red), thanks to Blood Beret for correcting me**

Omega, please sign me up for the blueside run with:

    Armeros:
    AT: Blaster
    Primary: Fire
    Secondary: Fire
    Epic: Fire

    No - Vengeance
    No - Recall Friend
Yes - Medicine Set (Aid Self, Aid Other and Resurrection)

I will have a full battery of Envenomed Daggers as well as a full arsenal of Shivans and the Vanguard HVAS as well.

Thanks again for organizing these runs, Omega!
  9. I can pull that off, the reason I play early is that the misses is sleeping and I can squeeze extra play time before she awakens from her slumber and insists on asking me to do things around the house. =)

If you run Dr. Q, you also might see if there is a CoP trial being done on the same day. For example, Omega ran his yesterday at 5PM EST and although this task force can be done in under 5 hours, it might be cutting it close.

Either way, just thought I would throw that out there. You are the conductor, I am just putting this in the suggestion box.

Barring any complications, I am open for this weekend. Once it's confirmed, I'll put it on my calender. I can bring either my fire blaster or the dark x 3 defender (limited travel powers).
  10. See what happens when I kill myself a few times before we begin the Mo run! =)

Kudos to everyone for the excellent work and thank you for helping me (and Sinner) earn our Mo badges. Yes, we can all hate Sinner for having almost every frakkin' badge, but it was a superb team (both runs). Maybe one day I can come close to having as many shiny badges as Sinner.

Thank you Capa for organizing and running these Mo runs. Exceptional leadership makes these runs seem almost too easy as well as exceptional teammates as well.

So, got 2 Mo badges to go: MoKahn and MoSTF. Hopefully once the Issue 19 excitement fades a bit, hopefully I can get those badges and be done (for now) with the Master badges.
  11. I had been thinking about doing these on a weekend AM as well. I know Electrosys was also gauging the interest of a weekly run. I for one, am good for any weekend AM run. If that is not a possibility or if Electrosys runs it in the same time window, I will do either/or. I don't want to have competing TF, especially Shard TF's which are notoriously hard to fill especially in the AM.

So, if both you and Electrosys run your Shard TF at a time that I can't make, I'll do a weekend AM run for those morning warriors out there.
  12. I was unaware of another Mo run in the evening as I did not see it on the forums.
If this does not go...I understand. Wish I had gotten
in on some of the other successful runs this past week.

Maybe once Issue 19 is out and folks have gotten their fix of the new goodies...maybe Mo runs will make a comeback.
  13. Maybe, I've been lucky. I have never had to kick someone off a team for lack of following instructions or other unnecessary actions/behaviors. Granted....i've come close.

  15. It was a good run last night, a couple of restarts and 2 deaths in the last run. For someone who had never run that SF before, I tried to be as non-blaster as possible, but sometimes my AoE gets the better of me. At least for any future runs, I'll know to stash the AoE, especially where sleeping heroes lie.

Thanks for organizing the run yet again Capa.

    It was fun!
  16. Coonie - I tried doing a weekly run, but RL got a hold of me and while we finished the move last month, I am still putting stuff away. I was hoping to get a weekly weekend AM run going as well, but if you all are gonna do that, I can run with you (if there is an available spot and if I am able to play).

Best times for me are weekend mornings, so depending on what/when you all schedule your Shard runs, if I can get on and play, I will.
  17. No fair, I would have been the designated driver (as my drinking days are over so that I can avoid future gout attacks....one was more than enough).

Glad you all had a blast!

Perhaps a weekly Shadow Shard drinking task force.....just a thought =)
  18. I am truly sorry for your loss.
I lost my mother to cancer 20 years ago.
Even though I knew it was coming (18 months) and tried to prepare, it is impossible to get ready for the loss of a parent.
I hope and pray that you find strength during this difficult time and that her memory shines on in you.

    Again, my sincerest condolences.
  19. Count me in for this run.

    Armeros (fire x3 blaster)

Running a MoLRSF at 10AM, so I should be done in plenty of time to attend this CoP run. Hopefully, we will be successful in this run and free of the storm aspect.
  20. Groovy, I appreciate it. I enjoy participating in these Master runs. Nothing is better than spending a few hours playing with so many really good players. No matter how difficult it might be, it always seems a little easier with good players and tactics.

    See you Thursday....and Sunday.
  21. Hopefully, I can earn the badge on Thursday as I see that Sinner signed up for Sunday and two blasters in the STF/LR task force is usually not a good thing (even if the blasters are extremely competent).

Put me down as an ALT for Sunday (in case Sinner does not make it for whatever reason).

I'll be home and ready by 7PM for this. Hopefully we can get it done!
  22. Happy Birthday, Vix!!

May you enjoy your birthday with family and friends and may you enjoy good health and happiness for many, many more years to come.

    All the best!!
  23. This week, I am good for Wed. and Thur. evenings. Tomorrow the misses works a late night and Friday, I need to turn in early because I have a wedding to go to. *grumble*

Next week, any day except Thursday evening which is the misses late night.

You are on quite a streak Capa, all I have left to go is the MoKahn, MoSTF and MoLRSF. Hopefully over the next couple of weeks before the introduction of Issue 19, I can get at least one of these off the books.

Thanks again for running these and your help in acquiring these difficult badges.
