Yes. Just copy-paste the piggs file from beta installation to live installation. Delete the checksum and run the launcher to verify files.

Quote:Don't market it that you have to pay or delete. Market it that YOU HAVE A SECOND BUILD....USE IT! Swap over to build #2 and you have a whole new SO layout to utilize. If you ever subscribe, or pay enough to unlock inventions through the rewards program, then swap back to build #1...et voila!...ready-to-play IO build!I'm unsure about the IOs portion. I will say that if I came back to a game that I used to play and all my armor was 'turned off' and the only way to handle it was to pay money or delete the armor, I would not come back. I think it's crazy to penalize a build after the fact. IMO free/preem players should not be able to slot new IOs. IMO having them turn off when they are already equipped would be an extremely bad business decision.

SUCCESS! You can now facepalm with the rest of us. -
You will continue to be able to play them side-switched as long as you have access to the powersets/archetypes after going Premium.

Or you can create a throwaway character on Exalted to participate, because the badge is account-wide. -
The facepalm's a facebook giveaway. They've done it twice now, and will probably do it in the future as well.

/bind <key> "local MESSAGE HERE$$cce # CCChangeName"

There is no way to change builds with a bind. You can only change builds at a trainer. -
The "allowed by one of our moderators to chat in it" part is to discourage trolls. It was a huge problem for a while in several global channels. Although a large number of the LFG globals are not silenced on join.

I just wanted to point out that if you buy a subscription, you get all of your Reward Tokens up front...it's only the Paragon Points that are doled out once a month (on your "billing day", which is the same day each month even if you buy a multi-month sub).

Awesome! I don't have to pay for the game! Instead of this, like it used to be:Quote:***NOTHING*** Quote:*All my old vet rewards
*Some new ones
*Supergroups
*All chat channels
*Trade
*Mail System (including Global Transfers)
*Mission Architect (with rewards!)
*Auction House
*Reward Merits
*Vanguard Merits
*2 billion inf cap
*Increased inventory space
*Small and Medium inspirationsQuote:*Lifetime access to Masterminds
*Lifetime access to Controllers
*Even bigger inventory
-------------------------
Let's be honest, Manoa. Please. The vast majority of returning players will end up something like the above. We have seen this with other games. The small minority that will result in disappointment, as you assume, will be a drop in the bucket and should not be catered to. -
Cos half the servers taking a crap totally means they should wait to take the other servers down because they're DEFINITELY not going to also take a crap...because they know this FOR SURE. Because emergency maintenance isn't an emergency. [/sarcasm]

The brute is support. Heal Other and PBAoE +Damage; if you're on the tier that the support gets an attack then he has an attack, otherwise he does not.
-
I just wanna nitpick and request we don't call them points, because it muddies the water between Paragon Points (spent in the Paragon Market) and Paragon Reward Tokens (spent in the Paragon Rewards Program). I've already seen people conflating the two, or getting confused on which one gets spent where. Cleaning up our usage helps clear up confusion.
-
I think I have four or five sitting around. I doubt I'll be using them anytime soon...I have plenty of space to put new characters without opening more slots than I already have on my favored servers...plus I get 12 more for free when Freedom launches (Exalted)!
-
Announcement up in the announcement forum now.
edit: hysterically, it was posted one minute before the player above me postulated there wouldn't be any official word for "quite a while". I am highly amused. -
I agree with offline sginvites.
Though I'll point out that after Freedom, it takes only one token to get access to SGs on a freebie account, so it's fairly cheap and simple to create an SG-inviter second account. Keep in mind you'll be limited to two characters (total, not per server) so you'll have to delete and recreate if you have more than two SGs to invite to.
To get one token, you can either buy a retail code (as cheap as $1.50 for some boxes) or spend $5 to get 400 PP - both award one token. -
If you got all the PPD and the Harker/Harken/whatever guy, I have no idea. Toss it in a /petition.
-
Did you also lead... uh... the Harken (sp?) guy out?
-
I think *EVERYONE* wants this. (Be honest! All of you would rather get [mostly] everything for nothing than for $$$.) But most people are wise enough to see that that would drive the game into the ground pretty quick. When all that's locked behind purchases is consumables and a couple premium sets/archetypes, close to nobody will buy anything.
-
Quote:They don't even have to spend $15. They can buy an old boxset (as cheap as $1.50 on some sites!) or they can spend $5 on PP. The first time purchasing PP grants a token, regardless of the amount purchased. The moment they spend $15.00 and earn a token they unlock expanded chat.
If they DO spend $15 the first time purchasing PP, they will actually end up with THREE tokens (1 for having an account, 1 for purchasing PP the first time, 1 for purchasing $15 of PP). This means they only need to get two more tokens to fill out Reward Level 3, which unlocks all communication in the game and increases inf cap to a million and boosts storage. One of those tokens can be earned by buying an aforementioned boxset for stupid-cheap (it doesn't matter what version boxset, ANY retail code counts toward the boxset token). The fifth token can be obtained by subbing for a month (time cards can sometimes be gotten for cheap!) or spending $15 on the game. -
You don't get a third build "at level 50". You get a third build "after completing Mender Ramiel's arc" - which is locked behind Incarnate System access (and thus VIP only). So a person will either a) have to unlock the third build before Freedom launches (which means subbing for a month), or b) sub for a month after Freedom launches, to unlock the third build.
