It's your life to spend how you please, and is not up to other people to tell you what is important or not. We're all going to die, and that is the only thing that I can see which is important at all.
Unless you are dependant on them, tell them to go stuff it. Humans don't know a damn thing about anything, and certainly not more then another human.
Attack when attacked, turn their own weakness back on them. If they are religous, point out the destructive and addictive nature of their beliefs. Etc. -
Please don't forget that defenders can also be electrical, and we deserve to be just as useful at draining end. So none of that 66% nonsense for the secondary effects. We already give up damage by a huge margin.
My dark/electrical defender makes me say, "Bleh." Instead of feeling super heroic. One of my builds that while it can solo slowly at the pace of maybe reaching level 50 in six years, is not something I will be doing. It's one of my group only builds, but I seriously wish I had taken something other then electric blasts. -
The developers really need to take another look at what they did with the influence rates. The sell rate for enhancements is less then half of what it used to be. Which has really hurt those who do not die often.
A friend and I had thouht exemlar would do the trick, but the influence rate is way too low to be of any use what so ever to the exemplared person. They should, and need to, earn influence at their normal rate for their non-exemplared level without gaining xp.
Do you realize that merely by leveling, and the enhancements going red, that character is now much weaker then if it had not leveled?
I call that a design flaw. -
"Casual playing has nothing to do with amount of time spent playing."
As usual you are wrong. Casual playing has everything to do with limited amounts of time playing. The opposite is power gaming, which is obessive/compulsive behavior and translates in to a huge amount of time spent playing. It's all about time.
