I think the ENC_BARF_A animation might be the closest you will get to the gut punch reaction you are looking for. If you let the animation run for a bit the character holds one hand to their gut then bends over and vomits then straightens slight while holding both hands to their gut. After a few seconds they lean over again and vomit. The animation with then loop. So if you are looking to get a screenshot without the vomiting it will be a matter of timing.
I think there is an animation where a character is doubled over slightly from a shotgun blast but I can't seem to find it. Others might know what it is. -
MOV ENC_BARF_A ----> Character grabs stomach and covers mouth.
MOV ENC_BARF_B ----> Character vomits.
MOV RUMBLE_B ------> Character takes a swing then has head snap backwards then to one side.
The link to Scuzzbopper's demo site http://home.roadrunner.com/~scuzzbopper/ . Unfortunately it hasn't been updated for several years. Hope this helps Sin! -
Unfortunately the Super Strength glowing effect is part of the entire animation that includes the shattered ground so you cannot have one without the other.
The best you can get is if you take a character and enter:
PARTSNAME none none none 000000 000000
for each line code which will produce an invisible character that will have the FX attached to it.
You then drop the character you want shown getting up onto the same POS(this might take a little adjusting to get the proper spot) as the now invisible character. There are a few frames where the glowing effect stops and the cracked ground remains so you will have to time the animations just right to catch the shot you're after. -
I only got screenshots of the large gathering but now I wish I had gotten some of the walk from Atlas.

Here are two experiments that I've put together so far.

After a slight delay the latest issue of The Spectacular Sparky is up at CoHcomics.com and can be found here. Unfortunately the site seems to be having a few minor problems at the moment so I went ahead and uploaded the comic to Photobucket as a backup.
For those that haven't read the comic before all the previous issues as well as over 150 other comics created by players can be found on the CoHcomics menu page. -
Here are a few characters from my patriotic themed group called the Liberty Family. The concept behind them was that they use enchanted armor/weapons to gain super powers.

Star Strider Force: Virtue
Name: The Spectacular Sparky
Global Contact: @Sparky
Reporting on Assignment: Statue Defense
Level of Alien Threat [High][Medium][low]: [Insane]
Report Details:
As per assignment I was on guard duty in Atlas Park, protecting one of the many statues found in Paragon City. The attack came swiftly and the Rikti quickly overwhelmed my position with sheer numbers. I fought on valiantly, willingly throwing myself into the mass of Rikti monkeys and then quickly returning to the battle after being transported to the Chiron Medical Center. Unfortunately it is my sad duty to report that despite my best efforts the statue dedicated to Chronic Back Pain Woman has been destroyed.
Analysis of Current Situation:
Oddly the statue under my protection was the only one to be destroyed or even attacked. I can only theorize that the Rikti have it in for me and are attempting to make me look bad. Or possibly my act of mooning the Rikiti enraged them and the destruction of the statue was merely collateral damage. At any rate it is no doubt the Rikti will destroy all of the statues in the city and then build their own, dedicated to their own heroes. And let me tell you that as long as I draw breath there shall never be a UKon Grai statue overlooking the city.
Suggestion of Action:
After much thought I have deduced that the most important statue in all of Paragon City is the Cyrus Thompson memorial statue located in Kings Row. I believe that this is the Riktis main target in their attempt to demoralize the heroes and as such I have taken the initiative and have already moved to protect it. I have brought in all of the active and reserve members of the Alliance of Really Great Heroes, at least the ones still taking me calls, and set up a defensive line that will surely rout the Rikti. If we fall perhaps we shall get our own statues, something tasteful yet inspiring. -

I fear I'll never conquer my altism. -
I'm enjoying these new costume pieces far too much.
Artificial Insanity
Krazy Kitten
Rebel Authority
And Ironik has already posted pics of Dr. Lugnuts and Ruckus when he caught me messing around with them. -
I can't find the proper words to describe how incredible that looks! Thanks BW!

Sweet! Dark Sparky looks like an actual threat for once. It's really great of you to decide to keep working on this even with the sudden return of Jamaro.

Geeze! Kerse can you drop me a note over at Deviantart about what you had in mind for this piece?

Also, I am working on the Dark Sparky piece but i'm trying to get some 3d issues resolved, so it's going to take some time.

No need to hurry. I've waited for well over a year and a half already so I can wait a while longer. If you need any info just send me a PM.
It has been truly inspiring how this community and even others not part of it have rallied for this cause. -

I'll take a crack at Dark Sparky, unless you had someone else in mind. What are his power sets?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'm not sure Dark Sparky is worthy of your amazing talent but if you're willing I'd love to see your take on him. He's an elec/elec brute. -
This is the reason I love hanging out in this community even if I hardly ever post. The generosity shown here just makes me feel all warm and gooey inside okay probably too much information. Anyway, if someone wants to take a shot at Dark Sparky I would really appreciate it.
Dark Sparky
Again, major respect to those willing to donate their time and considerable talents.
Some additional info: Dark Sparky has been in the MMOArt queue since December of 2006. -
Since I always seem to forget to take screenshots during cool battles I just use demoedits and create some of my own.
Invasion!
Who's next!?
Captain Glorious turns on his teammates. -
Here's a simple shot of her from a demoedit.
Sister Solaris
And another of Ghost Widow in her two outfits.

Here's Sparky in his new armor. Unfortunately it probably won't slow his frequent trips to the hospital.
And here are two of my villains sporting the new armor.
Artificial Insanity

How did you do the pose for Heavy Metal? Was that done with a demo edit? Spectacular pose, and very villianous! I'm rather impressed.
[/ QUOTE ]
Definitely a demoedit, which Sparky is darn good at. Looks like the cop is in the fly pose.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, you'd be correct. The cop is in the FLYUPPRE pose while Heavy Metal is doing the bow down emote. Took a bit of work to get the position just right so that it looked like Heavy Metal was palming the cop's head. -

The comic is now up over at CoH Comics if anybody wants to take a look. That is if everybody isn't playing with Issue 11.
