I have also noticed this as well. Have to restart game every hour or so as it approaches the 1.2 mark.
I could just stop surfing the web and listening to music...but what fun would that be? :P -
My team and I just finished Baracuda for Master...4 hours and got to the complete and everything. No badge. But we did get Merits.

Nope you are not the only one. I am able to run a mission or two then *SLAM* log in screen! This also seems to be happening on live as well [Virtue].
