    The human form

The warshade is a late boomer. It's human form becomes very powerful in the end, due to a higher recovery than the 2 forms (with stamina ofc), the shadow form + shields and the extracted essences provide good AoE. Gravity well is a powerful tool against voids/quants (crappy otherwise imo compared to the PB IS). You will need the nova form to advance in the earlier levels, where your human form is vastly inferior to PB (my PB has been almost perma human since level 24). The dwarf form is important because of the mire. It's tanking ability is ok but not effective without some slotting, and always keep in mind that slots are scarce for kheldians

Warshades are worthwhile if you can take the "weak" levels. The nova form is the only real option for me in the early levels (i hate being weak ).

Good luck with your kheld project

    The Supa Dwarf

Pretty nice... but could be rather boring in the long run to stay nova

    The Supa Dwarf

Hehe... I never wanted to go perma-dwarf. Was just thinking wether it would be fun and worthwhile to do so. I luv the dwarf form for it's cool-ness (and the self-heal ofc) and will keep it for that

My PB stays tri-form and the supa dwarf will rest in peace

    The Supa Dwarf

I was wondering... Is it possible to make dwarf form your primary form for both dmg and res?

I am aware that it would imply only 3 attacks, a somewhat low resist (compared to tanks) and a handy self heal as only powers, but it would be so cool

Let me know your feelings on this matter.
  5. I think it would ruin the idea of the "epic" archtypes. Kheldians are so cool because they have ONE setting and no anchillary pool. They are special in most possible ways and therefor you can't use your endless experience to build the ultimate being (an umbral blast/luminous aura toon would be so overpowered!). Play them liek they are or don't play them I luv khelds!

    Vigilance?!?

    Just as i thought... it's a no-use power.
Too bad cause defenders are a very fun AT IMO.

You think they will ever change the inherents in cases like this?

    Culd be nice

    Vigilance?!?

I like Defenders. But i've been wondering:

Is the inherent special ability worth anything?
And if so, how effective is it?

I can't say i've ever noticed this effect, but ofcourse it culd be hard to spot. I've also been checking it in Mid's hero designer, but it has no specifications of any kind, only the usual official description.

Plz help me out here. thx in advance

    /Stone Brute???

I don't know much about brutes, but i've heard from various chit chat, that /stone brutes aren't worth it. Sure they get granite and heavy DEF + Res but brutes aren't tanks, and granite is a tank toggle (-65% recharge!!!)

If u wanna give it a try go ahead... let me know if i was right

    PS. Hejsa CD :-)
  9. I can only say one thing about khelds
    I LUV EM!

For detailed info on kheldians see "Plasma's kheld guide"
    http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showf...Number=7462941

Remember: No AT is bad if played right - don't despair
Kheldians have huge potential, but requires more than a standard player (which is more than i can say about myself )

Good luck with ur future kheldian adventures
  10. Ahhh... now i see. Checked ur info on invincibility in "Mids hero designer" and proved u right
I'm gonan respec my tank soem day soon, to make him more fun to play.

thank u very much for the advice

The other reason inv is hard to tank with at the early stages is that it dont get its taunt aura until 18. Making it hard to tank appropriately in the first levels.

Taunt aura at 18??? wot do you mean by that? i got "taunt" at lvl 10 and there are no taunt auras in the INV set (as far as i know)
  12. Thank you very much for the advice.
Time to get a tank to 22 then

If anyone else want to add more to this thread, feel free to do so. I will be keeping an eye on it.
  13. I have played for 13 months now, but have never been able to make a tank i actually enjoy playing! I've tried every possible combo in many different ways but still can't get it right. I usually end up a taunting squishy!

My latest try and best so far is an inv/stone tank (currently lvl 10), but he can't take the beatings and therefore kinda lose his sole purpose! I have so far taken only defenses and taunt, and have slotted my defenses only... but still feel so very squishy!

Any help to unlock the secret of tanking would be wonderful thx
