  1. They might also wish to adjust their job adverts, which seem a little bit cynical...
  2. Survived too. I guess it has advantages if you pick your name from an old cyberpunk RPG
  3. Well, what would you do if dead corpses started rising?
  4. I tried to make a second home on Union, and that never went anywhere - I just love our Defiant community
  5. This is, in accordance with the wishes of the moderators, not a thread to discuss the DE incident. It is merely an informative post to let all Defiant players know that everything is back to normal. Kendai apologised & reinstated the old Ops. He also invited players to join him on "Defiant Elite" to set up TFs etc. With that, "Defiant Events 2" is now defunct, and we can all get back to Defiant Events and enjoy the wonderful world of City of Heroes.

Um.. just out of curiosity, where do you get this from? Kendai said that chatter is fine, but people should kindly hold back when an event is organised - just like it used to be really. It was in fact after Kendai was kicked out that the "then-management" tried to enforce the rule that Defiant Events should only be used for events, and idle chatter should be conducted in Defiant Chat. A few (including myself) disagreed, pointing out that this was not how Defiant works.

Anyhow, I hope this sorts itself out, and we find each other in the same place, whatever the name might be.

Because of a chat channel? Seriously? Just go to Defiant Events 2, job done. People should stop being so dramatic....

  9. AresCrusader

    Hamidon?

Having taken part in two failed attempts (hero & villain), I don't mind partaking in a third

    Top 100 SG/VG

No. 26, "The New Guardians" are a Hero SG.
  19. On the evening of the 24th November, a hero group formed to hunt Arachnos' finest in RV. They thought they could invade Lord Recluse's territory with impunity, and take down his inner circle. Alas, one brave MM headed the call, and came to the defence of Arachnos. Despite peace offerings from the heroes, the MM fought bravely in the resistance, sneakily taking down pillboxes and attacking heroes from behind. And despite the overwhelming odds, and defeat after defeat, the MM came back time and time again.

This MM was me. And I'd like to thank all the heroes for this rather enjoyable PVP (or rather PVMM) insurgency.

    Long live Arachnos!
  20. ... for all your hard work and commitment. For those who do not know: Searing Empress used to run the weekly Rikti raids. Last Sunday she announced that this was the last raid under her guidance. Whilst the raids will hopefully still take place with a different leader, I just wanted to thank Searing Empress for putting up with all of us for such a long time.
