You, sir, have a GIFT for understatement
-
Aw...this would have been so AWESOME!
Except for the deleting all sounds thing, of course. -

Here are a couple issues that've been bothering me with one particular character. First and foremost, there's some nasty clipping with the "Uniform" jacket on female characters. It doesn't show all the time, but it's very obvious with certain poses. It's particularly noticeable, for example, when my character puts her hands on her hips.
Also, when firing her assault rifle, a small part of her back will clip through around the area of her left shoulder blade.
The second issue I've noticed is that, just like capes and skirts, her lower legs will disappear when submerged in water. While I understand that this may be somewhat unavoidable in the case of skirts and capes, legs hardly fall into the same category. So far I've only noticed it with this particular outfit: that is, with Stilletos and Fishnets.

Yep, same problem with female metallic(dunno about male), but for the entire leg model, leaving the boots visible. -
Sorry to tell you, but there's a MUCH easier way to change out fonts:
TweakCoH: It can change most graphic/sound options before you start the game, as well as fonts, and you can also perform various diagnostics as well as play demos. -

That damage aura of his was hitting me through six lucks, every tick. His melee attacks were hitting about 50% of the time through six lucks. And that's on a character with a native roughly 44% def(smash, lethal). I don't think you can +def your way out of this one. What finally did do it for me was using all three nukes plus a Shivan.

Well I have no idea what build you used, and I suck with numbers, but with my Claws/Regen I used i think 2 big and 1 med purp, and a big red. Also hit IH/DP, and took him with little to no trouble.

Weak
I was able to take him as an EB with 4-6 Lucks/Sturdies and a couple Tier 1 reds and yellows. -
Very nice guide. However, you forgot to mention the letter in the last mission of Rise of the Council, In the last room. I'll tell exactly where it is if anyone wants, but I'd rather leave it more vague.
This means there are 4 letters total. But where, then, is the letter in the *Hero* Trading Places? -
Learn to spell, PLEASE!
That was actually [u]painful[u] to read, and that's hard for me to come by! -
/signed, but only if they're Inherent and granted as you level as other have suggested.
Also, this may be *way* too complicated to tack on, but: What if, instead of choosing your pool, it's chosen by your playstyle! On the way to level 10, the game tracks the way you play:
<ul type="square">[*][u]Student[u]: You spend most of your time fighting as a Sidekick. [*][u]Instructor[u]: Students can get the option to become an Instructor later in the game depending on how often they Mentor other players.[*][u]Lone Wolf[u]: You spend most of your time fighting solo. [*][u]Merchant[u]: You sell most of the inspirations and enhancements you get. [*][u]Rogue[u] is a bit harder to make work this way. It may be tied with Lone Wolf, in that it counts how often you fight solo, but also in how well you judge your own strength.[/list] -
Is this guide going to be either update/redone for I11?
-
How DARE you, you forum necrophiliac!
Seriously, don't. -
Something I feel needs to be added here:
Sometimes selling at a contact is the best idea, say when common drops sell at terribly low prices, or when a rare drop is one not many people need. More often in my experience, however, is that you would get more influence by selling salvage at Wentworth's/the Black Market. Off-level enhancements/recipes should most often be sold at a contact, but that's another story. -
/signed.
This ^^ is used so often, is /sign a command IG?
My power, as an ex-Borg, if this were possible anyway, would Assimilate, which turns almost any - but only one - combat NPC into a MM-control-style pet, including the Longbow in the PVP zones or almost any enemy, but not AV/Monster/GMs or Police Drone-type NPCs. -

One more vote for the Big Red Ball!!! -
The site hasn't been updated since before the sale, but you can still get the map patch through Badge-[censored] and Badge-Hunter (same site, BTW).
