Q: How many Tanks does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: It can't be done. "TANK SMASH!"
Q: How many Positrons does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: It will require a full team and at least 3 hours minimum. -
I am a bit over the hill myself (fell off the other side and broke my foot).
I was a bit surprised to find a few of my fellow players enjoying the slide down the other side.
I turned 45 on the 24th of January. -
I really enjoy the Mission Architect and have spent a lot of time getting a feel for it. What I find annoying is not tied to the MA so much as to the enjoyment of it.
The problem is email spam (I know this is an OLD problem).
While trying out friends MA creations, An email from them which contains a list of their creations, helps me to keep track of which ones have been adjusted and which are new etc..
Unfortunately I have to sort through numerous spams before I have a working list and I believe that some may get bumped by spam when my mail is full. (This is only a guess because I sometimes can not find the email I am looking for) -

I would also like the option to turn off email for a character. I never use the in-game mail system anyways.

I would very much like to see an email filter of some sort too. I log onto my main charachter and find a list of spam mails on a daily basis and have absolutely no way of stopping them.
The spammers can add anyone to a friends list without even asking and then spam away.
I find it very annoying and definately harassing. Being completely hidden will have no effect on spammers once they have your name on their list.
Email from friends have to be sorted out before they get accidently reported as spam.
Would it not be possible to filter email by linking it to My friends list so that only those on my list will be able to send me mail.
It would be so much shorter than my ignore list which is basically useless anyway. -
Battle of Brothers
MArc id:120022

Due to enemy restrictions, mission 3 is 5-54 but the first two are 1-54. Custom critters only make a cameo appearance in mission 3 and the arc is 5th Column based although there are some assorted foes involved. -
MArc mission: Super Fantastic
I made a mission (file size keeps me from making it much more than 1 mission) that seemed to call out for Villainous. There is even a little old lady whipping out her pistols and mowing down some girl scouts. You do have to fight one villain in the mission though. This started as just making a funny mission but turned deadly. It can be done solo but I haven't tried it on a team. "WARNING" This mission can become very hard for the soloer. The mission is called Super Fantastic. I may need to unpublish it once I get some comments as I am not sure if it is too hard or not at this time. I suggest reading the mission description and I also gave clues to most custom enemy powers in their character info. If anyone cares to try it then please leave a comment so I will know how to adjust it if necessary. -
The Fall of Aden ID# 77643. (3 story arc)It was designed to be playable by all levels and AT's but is on the heroic side of the line. (You have to help out some elves) Some mezzing foes can make it challenging but the objectives are rescue/defeat boss type and it's not necessary to defeat everything.

I know this isin't a request thread but I would love to see improved storage and the ability to disable -email.
-
Ok I haven't read all the posts so it's possible that someone else has mentioned this. [u]I would like the ability to simply disable e-mail in the options menu[u] and that way if someone wants to send me an e-mail they can /tell first so I can turn it on temporarily. I seem to get spam mail mostly on my toon that shares the global name on my servers (open) global chat channel (Triumphs Triumph watch and Triumph Raids) which causes me to think that spammers will join the global channels just to farm global names. I have kicked some global friends that I really don't play with anymore or accepted in my early gaming but I don't think that will remove me from their global friends list. I think that it may help if the only option you get by clicking a global name from an (open) chat channel is invite to team/chat. I'm not sure this is a feasible option though so at the moment I am simply going to try to fill my toons email quota from a friend and just leave it full till something else is available.
Ok I should have read one more post before posting myself. Tahquitz said it better. -
Maybe it's a dumb idea but I had it anyway.
How about adding a Comic's store somewhere within Paragon City. The walls could be decorated with cover art from winners and other notable mentions.
Just an idea. -
Gratz to the winners, I found all the stories entertaining. I would also offer congratulations to everyone else that worked so much and took time to share their work with the rest of us. You all are a part of what makes websurfing fun
I didn't expect my own entry to win but at least bring a smile or a giggle to a few people.
I found that it could be tough to tell a story with such limited space (still working on an unpublished comic that has reached 18 pages just leading to part 2).
I think it would be nice to have an area in the forums to list the works that may still be coming from others who enjoyed this contest as much as I did.
I think as people have more time and experience working with the available tools, we could see some amazing stuff. -
I actually discovered this trick by accident in the Hollows while trying to talk to Talshak contact and somehow aggroed a group of pumicites. since I had the dialog box opened I clicked store instead of mission and was able to survive the encounter. When it came time to hunt X number of pumicites I had a plan and although it is a little harder, it will work while trying to stop the damming in the Red River where you seem to only find red/purple con enemies in the area you have to hunt. Overall I have found it most useful in the Hollows but very handy elsewhere.

I did one mayhem mish so far with a level 31 fire/kin corruptor and, totally enjoyed the experience until I got out of the bank (heist portion). While running around building time and looking for side missions, I ran into a PPD Ghost/PPD Shell duo who flashbanged/glued me constantly and left me practically helpless. At this point I lost my enthusiasm and found it a somewhat annoying learning experience.
Always carry break frees and accuracy inspirations!!
Even though my powers are mostly 3 slot accy, I was like a volcano spewing fire in every direction except where I wanted it. The only powers I was able to land were fireball (fortunately an AoE power ) and an occasional brawl.
I put fireball on auto attack and punched brawl as it recharged until the time ran out then waited outside the mission for the flashbang effects to finally wear off.
On villainous setting I never was defeated but I think something should be done about the accuracy debuff being so bad (my only real complaint).
On the "manage enhancement " screen I noticed that accuracy enhancements the value is not shown so maybe its part of the ED I need to find out how to work with.
Otherwise my first Mayhem was a blast
Thanks for letting me be mean lol. -
I wish I had know about elevator doors. Baddies wont follow you down (or up) on MOST occasions so fighting near the doors offers a quick escape when your blaster is getting pummeled by every thug you THOUGHT you could beat.
*Break Frees* are your friends. I try to keep 3 BF and 2 awakens at all times but it is so annoying when you use an awaken then the thug decides he isn't finished with you yet and returns to make sure he has made his point.
Super Jump is a cool power on inside missions too. It can carry you well out of melee and often ranged combat quickly if your end/health is low and you are missing targets like they were the girlfriend that dumped you.
