I would use Lot 5: Full set Will of the Controller
@akvan -
Aion sucks, Guild Wars characters are the same as every other MMO. They should just transfer our City of Heroes characters over to Aion and Guild Wars then we could show these medieval clones how to ***** ***** up properly. City of Heroes Forever!

You need to go to your local Asian store and get loose leaf Thai Tea. You can either make a regular cup of hot tea with a tea steeper or make the super tasty Thai Iced Tea. (recipes for Thai Iced Tea are all over the net) I made Thai iced tea for my sister's family and they went bonkers for it as did I when I first tried it.
The best supermarket black tea I've tried of late is Lipton's Black Pearl. Very versitile tea because it tastes great plain, with or with out milk, sugar or honey.
Tea is relatively inexpensive so you should be able to find a tea you like at some point. Keep shopping around and have fun with it. Let us know what teas you start drinking. -
This was the problem: It appears that the drivers for your ATI Radeon HD 5670 video card have not been installed for Windows 7. Please boot to Windows and insert the Mac OS 10.6 disc that came with your system. There is a file on that disc which will install the Windows drivers for your system.
It is working perfectly well now. Looks great too! -
I installed and updated Windows 7 (64 bit) and City of Heroes onto my iMac's Bootcamp. When I start City of Heroes in Windows I get this:
Detected video card or driver is currently unsupported Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. The game may run poorly or not at all with you current configuration.
Current system requirements are NVidia GeForce 2 or better, ATI Radeon 8500 or better, or an Intel GMA 900 or better.
(If your card does meet the minimum requirements, you might not have the latest drivers.
Go to www.nvidia.com, www.ati.com, or www.intel.com to update your driver. In some cases, such as laptops, you may need to get the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer.)
My computer is fully updated: Mac OS X 10.6.7

Should I have Installed the Windows 7 32 bit? Any help would be greatly appreciated! -
Yeah. Good idea. You can flush him like a turd.

Epps is a nice guy in game and on vent.
Actually, a lot of the people that I met on Tri were really helpful and some of the best PvPers before D-Day. -
I've had great success with a SS/Electric/Mu Brute in PvE.
You will have fast recharge, a heal, ability to deliver massive damage, no end problems and a "god mode"
You will also be able to max out the diffuculty for your missions later in the game.
I have only PvPed a few times in RV with the PvE build and ehh, wasn't that bad. I will work on a RV PvP build and swap the Mu patron for Black Scorpian's web envelope.
All in all an awesome PvE build. If you have never made a BRUTE, make SS/Electric today.
You won't regret it. -
A collection of quotes from Supermax! Be enlightened:
The title will be "When you act like an idiot, people will treat you like one;
Please learn to read. I read it. It was really, really stupid.
No matter how many times you ask the same question, the answer will be the same.
Stop asking pointless questions.
What do you guys think...
Please tell me you're joking. How stupid can you be?
You're wrong, but nobody really cares about proving you wrong anymore.
You're all liars.
And that seems to be the case here. Perfect explanation.
With your limitations...You've made a mockery of yourself.
This is why everybody considers you an idiot now.
....This small collection of actual board quotes certainly shows us the obvious wisdom and intellectual prowess Supermax is blessed with. -
Quote:Gotta love Wisconsin highway signs.
So one way of escaping a bad situation without using an exploit is okay, but another way of escaping the same situation without using an exploit is not okay? I like these arbitrary rules you're setting up here.
Yes, the double account to escape a bad situation is legit.
Using HiberQuit to leave the game and get a fresh 20 second countdown with unrestricted movement to escape your **** beating is an exploit. -
Quote:No, it is not an exploit...The powers are used as intended. It's really not growing. I haven't seen it a single time, personally.
What about this: A person in hibernate uses a 2nd account to recall friend himself the split second he comes out of hiber. Yes, it's easily done with accurate timing.
Is that an exploit too? Because the result is exactly the same as logging out. The person gets away with 0 chance of death. So it's an exploit?
It's just a guy TPing himself. A lot of players have two accounts and like to have an Emp on one and a Blaster on the other. That's totally legitimate game-play in my book. -
Quote:The devs can find a solution to an growing number of Hiberqitter Haxx.Unfortunately for you, it doesn't matter what you believe. The issue is caused by how the logout system works in CoH. If you think they are going to completely redesign the game after like 7 years because ONE total person complained about it in those 7 years, you should probably stop thinking that.
This game is FULL of real game-breaking bugs, all of which are ignored for years. This issue is simply meaningless compared to some of the other bugs we have. Learn to deal with it.
Just accepting something flawed, dealing with it and not doing anything about it is not acceptable to me and many other players. We are a community of gamers not a bunch of exploiters.
Many bugs/exploits are fixed years later. Maybe hiberquitting will be fixed soon enough. -
Quote:Design Flaw thats what it is. An Exploit is either a "design flaw" or a bug. In this case, it is a design flaw. Hibernate being used to cheat some one out of their defeat.Ok seriously.. this is not a bug, you can log out anywhere, anytime, no questions asked. This applies to PvP and PvE. Also, if someone logs out in hibernate once they get back they pop out and you have 90+ seconds to kill them during the no phase timer.
Also, if it takes you 10+ min to kill a squishy in i13+ retard damage mashing pvp you have a serious issue aside from hibernate.

I have to repeat myself to you so you can understand what an exploit is.
And Kiri, you said I'm a daft. That comment actually tells me how juvenile you are. If you had something relevant to say about the post you would have stated something intelligent instead of name calling and bringing yourself down to a level of an immature. -
Quote:Take a look at exploit definition again.Who are some people and who are they to determine what an exploit is?
Also its not a bug.
"An exploit, in video games, is the use of a bug or "DESIGN FLAW" by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers.
Exploits have been classified as a form of cheating, however the precise determination of what is or is not considered an exploit can be controversial.
I believe that Hibernate was not designed to let a person log of for two seconds and come back to play with a fresh twenty second PvP countdown. In my opinion, this is a big time abuse of a power. A Design Flaw / Exploit
Some people that use the HiberQuit may feel that this is a legitimate use of hibernate. I see it as a design flaw used to cheat a player out of a defeat and possible PvP recipe drop. -
Quote:That's right. They just Hiberquit and hold on to their rep. No drops. That or you can just die and go to the hospital. There isn't any penalty for that. Maybe hurt feelings.
Maybe this is why PvP IO drop rates are so low. No one is dying! They're logging out instead.
Being defeated isn't that bad of an ego crusher. All you gotta do is go to the hospital. If you've been PvPing for awhile you can handle it. No one likes it but defeat is part of the game. or it used to be. lol
The point Solient Green makes is valid. More defeats more possible PvP drops. Good for every one. -
Quote:Yes, I do know the definition of exploit in this context. Obviously, you don't.How is logging out an exploit? Do you even know the definition of exploit?
-Kiri
An exploit, in video games, is the use of a bug or design flaw by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers.[1] Exploits have been classified as a form of cheating, however the precise determination of what is or is not considered an exploit can be controversial. This debate stems from a number of factors but typically involves the argument that the issues are part of the game and require no changes or external programs to take advantage of them.
Here is an example sentence using the word exploit as it pertains to CoV PvP.
Psikirious used hiberQuit to avoid defeat and some people call this a hibernate exploit. -
Quote:It's not an exploit. This sounds like another form of crying because a target escaped the inevitable wave of Hibercampers.
If that's the case, I would like a 10 second can't hit target after being out of Hiber then.
Logging out of the game for two seconds to escape defeat is a ridiculous exploit. -
I see your point. Coordinated spike on called target. I do it all the time....I'm just pointing out there are times when a whole team of people Hiberquit one right after the other. Glaciers everywhere and then gone. That is absurd.
-
Quote:Phase Shift and Hibernate are two legitimate powers used to escape defeat.1.) It's not an exploit. It's the way the game works. No, the logout procedure is not going to be completely redesigned because of this side effect.
2.) Phasing after hibernating has basically the same results and is a lot easier.
Logging out of the game for two seconds to escape defeat is a ridiculous exploit. -

[QUOTE=B_Witched;2780671]Well, you want a guys rep and a chance at a PvP recipe. If they are Hiberquitting they have rep and you wont get it because of the hiberquit exploit.

[QUOTE=IcyKiri;2780572]I really enjoy playing COH thats why i bought it.

You just mentioned a random opinion about the game rather than commenting on the specific exploit addressed above.
