I wasn’t pointin fingers and making excuses, it's true that ever since i20 dropped everyone is after the bright and shiny.
So I have (a) toon(s), as many of us do, that have incarnate powers: ITF, Tin Mage, Apex; faster than ever, LGTF ,STF; much easier, and tips; the same 5 mishes over and over.
So me and my bright idea, is for us to break out our uber incarnate toons and do a Hami, since we haven’t been doin them that often anymore, and I was around for the 3 weekly raids that's what made me keep my account goin; The community in the game.
Which makes me wonder how long will we be able to run the same (2) mish(s) over and over for every lvl 50 toon we own, I was burnin- out on the trials after a month straight day after day.
Then what for our new toons, when we sick of farmin BAF's and are unable to form 12 to 18 person leagues not for one trial but for several occurrences, to open the slots and gain all the salvage to get at least to t3 in each power, then double it to obtain a t4's across the board.
And since we are on the subject of the trials, I found myself on more trials with Bud and Co. leading for the better part of the last month. I didn't bother me that he was dual boxing, cause there was plenty of room on the teams. And so whether he liked / wanted/intended to /used ppl or not, he helped many people get their incarnates.
So Back to last Sunday's raid when I had been spamming in EVRY channel for an hour, that a hami was going to start he sent me a PM askin what arch types I need for the raid, and if it would be alright if he could bring 2 tanks and a friend to fill in the gap on the yellow mito taunt team.
I sent him the invites. I had his word he was going to help out . I didn’t think things would have played out the way they did. If the zone was nearly full or a if we had 40 ppl on the league he would have had one invite sent to him, we only has 23 ppl during the monster hunt. I welcomed the help.
I still believe in the people of Champion. I have not or will not give up, although as a posted earlier I have put the idea of hosting a Hami on hold as of last Sunday nite.
I have decided to give the Mother Ship raid a try since they can be run with smaller mixed teams.
See ya Sunday in the War Zone!! -
Well thanks Champion, was a fun experience, but I considered the pros ans the cons over runnin a weekly hami raid.
As for now I am no longer hosting a weekly blue side Hami raid I am hoping that in weeks to come i may consider in runnin a Hami raid again.
I found out by puttin myself out there, devoting my time to arrange a league, usually an hour b4 start time. I am not one servers cool kids, but I figured there were plenty of ppl that would support a community event.
I found out the ppl don't have the patience to wait for the the raid to start. Nor do we want ppl on teams cause of one reason or another.
As a community I thought we could put differences aside. That whoever you are, or what SG you support you can turn out and be part of one of IMHO one of the best end-game raids in COH.
I have not nor will not turn my back on the people Champion server, I hope that one day we may loose our rep as the drama server -
Thanks champion for turning out for my first official weekly raid,
We gave it a great try worthy of a win.
We can make it happen.
Although we started with no more than 35 people in the zone we made it through the first wave.
I commend everyone for their turn out.
I will not surrender to the Jello.
Hope to see you there next Sunday 6pm est.
thanks again

Alrighty then it seems that as a whole WE WANT hammi raids.
It also seems that people respect your lead and you have a following.
If you want to pass the torch we need to continue raiding and appoint new leaders for future raids.
The new leads need to have your support or the server wont follow.
If I started to broadcast that I was going to run a Raid will I have the outcome that you have had in calling for a raid. No, cause people dont know me as a raid leader. I dont even think they know my emp from the raids.
Champs server has been my home for my tenure in COH. All of you are my neighbors and friends. We are this community.
I wish that all this back and forth would end and we could get on with doin more raids. -
1. Yes, there should be hammi raids again. Before the zone cap we had them several times a week.
We always pulled together even when someone griefed the raids with kronous or attempted to cause a yellow dawn.
It never stopped us from having a raid.
2. Yes. if need be I would be willing to learn to be a team lead, not that I want the attention or status in the community, but to have more raids. Frankly it doesn't matter if I'm a lead or not. I'm happy Emping on a taunt team.
I wish there were calls for impromptu hammi as often as there are for Mother Ship raids.
I have attended some of Stormwrek's Hammi classes, I wish there were more community support for someone that is willing to give up game time just to inspire, people to run hammi again.
Let's get out of this funk and back in the jello. -
I have a complaint about issue 17 and your going rouge anouncements.
I find it unfair that to established and long term account holders.
First players whom have worked hard to reach lvl 50 for an end game reward of epic arctypes, what's epic about lvl 20 most ppl reach that by the end of a synapse TF. Your turning kelhdians in to capes. What will be our lvl 50 reward then?
Next with the release of Good VS Evil pack the villians population exploded, Praetoria should be added like RWZ,Pocket D or Ouroboros
If a new player buys the Going Rouge pack for the 40.00 USD are they intitled to play heroes and villians if they so desire? While other long term account holders paid fist for CoH then additionally for CoVthe pay another forty bucks for all the bells and whistles?
From popular opinion Rouge was to let heroes trasnslate in to villians and vise versa depending on alignment, while Rouge was aledeged to be a nutral zone.
With all the New mmos out there, I and many other ppl still enjoy this game. I would hate to see the population accross 10 servers become a ghost town. -
