But that's only a guess and I could be utterly wrong.
Look at the bittorrent tracker Demonoid for example. US influenced Ukraine and Mexico to do something. But the investigations and arrests were done by Ukraine and Mexico. Thats becuase the US can not do anything outside its borders as far as enforcing its own laws. Well at least without going to war over said laws anyways. -

I don't think it's very likely, and don't know whether there's anyone left at Paragon Studios who could check, but it would be a real shot in the arm if it turned out that NCSoft had already ceded the game to another company by declaring its closure.
Let's assume they do for a second. The question is would Perfect World let them. Its entirely possible Perfect World may not want competition for Champions Online, so they may not let Cryptic take it back even if they can. -

This! That was actually part of the email I sent to Gabe Newell(who knows if he ever read any of them); I advised that many people would probably be willing to double the subscription fee, and floated the notion of a 20-30% price increase in the market. -
Turgenev, try living in the midwest, Missouri specifically. We don't see Cons, period. If I want to attend a Con of any kind I have to drive at least 3 hours to Kansas City or St. Louis or half a day to Tulsa. Springfield (MO) hasn't had a Con of anykind in 15 years. And with gas prices the way they are right now it better be a really special Con to get me to drive to KC, St. Louis, or Tulsa.

Someone mentioned the in game wedding, and that by and large was also an exclusive event because not every player got the chance to attend. We will never be able to keep everyone happy, but we do like to take the opportunities that are presented to us to do what we can when we can.

No they weren't mentioning the in-game wedding. They were mentioning the wedding pack you could buy off the PlayNC website. If it were just an event I wouldn't cry over it. I missed the Wedding itself just cause I haven't reinstalled the second client for Test yet. It's no big deal when it comes to the event itself. What I don't agree with is giving out like the wedding pack to limited people and their the only ones that can get it. So if its just an event on test again that's fine. But if you handing out in-game items to only those that attend your little party, that is just wrong. If your all going to be that exclusive I may not renew in Novemeber when my subscription is set to renew. -

I have to agree with Lovelife here. Too me it feels like I'm being punished cause I can't afford a couple thousand dollars to attend the Comic Con. In game events should be for everyone, like they did with the Manticore wedding earlier this year. Not for those select few that can take off work and pay a thousand dollars or more for plane tickets, hotel rooms, meals, etc.
But doing it the way their doing it, is just discriminatory. Thats how I feel, I feel I'm being discriminated against just cause I don't have the money. -

The Charmed Ones Division is an older SG that has been around since the beginning of the year. Charmed Ones recently merged with Dawn Guard.

I am begining to think the same thing, Faou. ATI is not worth it. If I hadn't sunk $90 into this card I would junk it now. Suffice to say I am thinking of going back to nVidia myself as soon as I can find the money. For me even the work around didn't work - nothing has.

I should do more research in the future before buying something. I recently bought an ATI Radeon x1600 512 mb Video Card. When I installed it the otherday, Monday or Tuesday it worked fine up to a point. That point being CoH, when I first installed this card I could get upwards of 5 hours of play before everything would lock up. I never had this problem before installing this card. That was no biggy I was beyond having to do the occasional reboot every so often. Makes heck when your teaming though. But today I got tired of the reboots and started looking for solutions. Found this thread and did all of what it said back on the first page. And now I can't stay in the game for more than a minute or two before everything freezes. I tried resetting back everything to defaults and it continues to not want to let me stay in more than a minute or two. I'm at my wits end. If I pull this card I won't have one anymore as my old one was on its last legs, the fans already shot on it.
I would say its just incompatible with my outdated computer but nothing happens when I'm not inside the game. Which leads me to think its more than just my computer being incompatible. Or it would do it all the time not just when I'm in CoH.

Due to RL (there is a possibility I may loose my job if business doesn't pick up) I have disbanded my SG that I started. Ra'Sharan League of Paragon Defenders is no more. I will think about possibly recreating it at a later time should things work out in my favor over the course of the next month.

Ra'Sharan Elite Warriors SG is no more. Instead I have formed the Ra'Sharan League of Paragon Defenders. Why the change you may ask. I thought it time just to start over. I tried recruiting like crazy, for the REW, and people would join and then turn around and leave or start idling for days at a time.
So I am going to take what I learned from the REW and hopefully have a more successful go around with RLoPD.
Right now no website is in the works. Though I plan one, as soon as I can get someone to help me design one.
Were not very big yet having only 3 members when I logged out yesterday.
