I'm not certain which of my toons I would want to be. It would be a blaster, that's for sure.
I suspect it's a toss-up between my fire/em blaster, Scorching Flux, and the first toon I made in CoH: My energy/fire blaster, Particle Flux.
The fire/em because, well, it can be a beast. The energy/fire because imho, energy blast has the best looking animation/coloring in the game pre-customization. (If I'd only made it /em...Stupid first toon noob...)
They both fly, so that is a plus as well.

I'll be on. I'm at the first Anti-Matter mission in Tina's arc but it is -1 to my current level, so I may drop it.. Or a TF is fine. Doesn't really matter.
You do realize that Mental still bears the psychic scars of posting an Iso's meeting thread from way back in the day...

I was under the impression that this SG was put together as a way for people to team together on a weekly basis. With the advent of SSK'ing, I'm not certain how anyones toon level is all that relevant other than for the purposes of mission sharing. As anyone who has run in Iso's previous incarnations knows, mission sharing is very unreliable at best.
I'm not going to beg forgiveness or apologize for playing the way I feel like playing. Every level this particular toon has gained was done during regular team nights or during SG sponsored TF runs.
This is the last I'm going to post about this.
However, if it is that big a deal, feel free to kick me. I'm sure I can find other things to do on Wednesday nights and other people with which to team. -

Hello all,
As the title states, I'm new to the server and looking for some quality global chat channels on Freedom.
Yes, I've tried searching the channels but that gives me nothing but dry statistics and it looks like a number of the channels are full.
I'm basically looking for channels that focus on teaming and TFs.
Anyway, any help given will be appreciated.

Not a whole lot so far. Tues. and Wed. nights I was running with lowbie teams, so it really didn't mean a lot. The 20% xp increase didn't seem very noticable to me. Didn't the last blue side Iso's end up at 15-16 after the first session?
Last night I ran a Moonfire on a lvl 33 blaster. It was odd getting xp, but I did manage to get almost a level out of it.
In the case of TF/SFs, it seems like you are being punished if you run the TF/SF within the defined lvl range. For the Moonfire I ran, I had all my powers, including my tier 9.
I wonder if there shouldn't be some sort of incentive to run TF/SFs within their level ranges? Obviously, pre-i16, it was for the xp. Now, not so much. Otherwise, why would you ever want to run a Posi before you hit 20? Or for that matter, any of the low level TF/SFs until you are 4-5 levels above the maximum? -

As far as speeding TF/SFs, I couldn't possibly care less if folks do or don't. I've been on a fair number of sub 1 hour ITFs where speed wasn't even the objective. It just happened and this was with clearing the ambushes in the 2nd mission.
