PvP Hints to start out regarding your Build ~

1) Plan your build to be one step ahead of what your going to be facing. For example, you will be targeted by stalkers as you are a "squishy". Try to pick up some form of protection from Assassin strikes, on your build this comes in 3 forms... (a)+ perception of some kind(tactics), (b)Repel(knockback) and (c)unsupressed movement.

(a) This is not guaranteed, with more and more stalkers acquiring stacking stealth and tactics will not allow you to see all stealthed foe's.

(b) This is a handy power from your kinetic tree, takes up endurance all the same and KB protection is a pvp must. Many foe's would have preempted this move.

(c) Your best bet for avoiding being struck... Constant movement, and with access to Inertial Reduction you can be one of the only Hero's on map that has unsuppressed movement...



My advice is to think carefully about what you will come up against in a pvp zone and build your Hero around that...

Consider things like...

Stealthed Foes
To Hit Debuffs
Holds and Slows
Hugely resistant enemy's like brutes and MM's
Teleport Foe
Etc

Best of Luck bringing those villains to justice, ...

Guess I could create a lvl 1 give the 10Mil to them and then server transfer them.

Okay so I'm aware of the fact that you cannot transfer currency from a Hero to a Villain or back...

However,
I have 10 Million Influence that I want off my Blaster and onto my stalker.

Now the only way I can do this is to give the money to someone else's Hero, and get it off of their villain.

Effectivley swapping 10 Mil from Vills to Hero's for them...


Please add below comments and suggestions, I am also willing to swap smaller amounts if it makes a difference.
Say as little as 2Mill per time.

Went PB route ne way... think i'll start with that and carry on to WS after I have mastered the light side of the force.

Why are there no post about warshades in pvp ? How do they fair in SC? To be honest I've can't ever remember seeing one in SC and i live there. lol

Does Energy cloak stack with Hide from the energy aura set ? I assume it would on a stalkers set but it does sat in paragonwiki that it won't.. Can any1 clear this up please?

My pet hate as a Rad/Psi.... U take 3-5 seconds applying debuffs to the mob, Name him in team chat for the daftarse blaster to snipe him.

Make an Archery / Devices Blaster ~ and here's why.

fly is a wonderful power for an archer to hover
out of range and fire at your target.
Archery has one of the longest ranges in game, and
with no need for extra accuracy slots you can slot
for MORE range

risky this one but if your up high out of harms way
then defiance will give you huge damage potential,
and will make up for lack of Build Up from Dev 2ndary

Union ftw,

I was a hardcore Defiant fan, only moved to Union when my 2 accounts were full of pvp chars... But after hours standing in SC + WB (defiant) I was very often the only one there. =( I could logg in and go do some work waiting for an opponent, was rubbish.


Union is great for Zone pvp, I have now transferred about 8 toons to Union and you can find me in Sirens most nights.

I personally hate people that use inspirations in pvp.
I understand the argument for + against, and I dont ever shout at someone for using them, however imagine a situation.

You are going Toe to Toe with a brute, strauggling away pipping your wit, powers and finely tuned build right down to the last ounce of percentage that you have squeezed outta your very expensive IO's... You are within site of the finishing line and about to take him out, when suddenlly.....

The point is that inspers are not against any pvp rules but they are frowned upon for making a balanced fight, imbalanced.



The only way I think they should be allowed is if you are only allowed to use the ones you earn in zone. (SC example)

Can any1 tell me if casting CM + Fort + Heals reveal you from stealth...

I know offesive powers(attacks) obviously do, but does an Empath with Superspeed, Stealth, and Stealth IO become visable when healing ?
