((Well did you do the mission more than once? Or could you have had someone on the team, but they weren't doing anything? I mean, there is only one other option, and that is YOU ARE A DEV~!))
-
((Not even mods can get into an instanced mission without being on your team. I know, I once had to abandon a Task Force because of a glitched mission that the mods couldn't fix, because we couldn't invite them.))
-
((Well then you COULDN'T have been solo too bad you weren't Demorecording.... ))
-
((Yeah, now Ex has a clue as to who one of the devs plays as...))

I've soloed every AV in the game with a Dark/Dark scrapper >.>
Most of the Praetorians diddn't even need shivs or nukes, just accs and some insps I had on me.
The newer AV's needed nukes, and the ones in the Shard, but I got 'em all.
Well, except Ghost Widow, she kicked my [censored]. -
Noting his opponent's drained look, Acanous smirked, some of the negative energy reforming around him as he rushed toward the arbiter.
Quickly, Acanous took a shot toward his opponent's stomach (Shadow punch) to test his remaining defenses, and followed up with a right hook (Smite) to bring those defenses down a notch. He spun in place, trying to connect his elbow with the arbiter's face (Shadow punch) before finally delving into a brazen flurry of negatively charged blows, the punches coming from all directions- with a single purpose.(Shadow maul)
Acanous had been watching the arbiter, and they had been fighting for long enough for him to realise that this wouldn't end well if it continued as such. Thusly, while his punches appeared to be random, during his flurry, he had been aiming for a critical spot- the arbiter's medicom transport beacon.
Hoping that his apperently rash attack had lowered the arbiter's guard, the strike would, if it connected properly, signal the Arachnos medical staff to transport Jake directly to the nearest medbay.
He haddn't forgot about the snipers that put a new scar on his brow, either. Acanous was watching the roof, waiting for the split second his energy field would grant him as the bullets first entered it, determined to use it to throw the projectiles off-course.
While Acanous couldn't dodge bullets, if he was aware, and fast enough, they wouldn't hit thier intended mark, and would hurt a lot less

It took only a few moments to rile the Fortress into an all-out frenzy, security teams storming toward the embattled sector in hopes of 'there being pieces left for them' when they arrived.
[/ QUOTE ]
Alarms rang out, red lights bathing the Gatekeeper in an unflattering glow. With re-enforcements now on the way, he would have no choice but to withdraw.
The red-armoured arachnos barrel out of hatches, blast doors, and hallways, swarming over the remaining sky raiders, yelling exhuberantly. Acanous gathered more of his dark energy, wrapping himself in it's protective embrace. -

((Sorry, had some RL troubles this week. Back now, working on a reply)) -
I type when PVPing all the time, it's great! then again, I use a lot of Fear, and I can green-circle shadow punch while I type >.>

At the moment he said that, three Arachnos Snipers who had fortified themselves on top of the building after the battle had begun took their eyes off of their current target. They instead chose to train their guns at the cranium of Acanous himself. Again, these were each aimed at strategically placed locations, meaning, should he dodge one, he'd most likely put himself in harm's way yet again.
Each fired simultaneously, the specialized bullets flying at nearly light speed.

((What DID happen to those sky raiders, anyhow?))
The beams found thier target, and Acanous stopped with a jerk, cutting off a cry of pain and rage.
Falling to his knees, blood obscuring his face like some carnival trick, he looked confused, a shocked expression frozen on what parts of him could be seen.
Momentum carried him forward, to land face-first in the remains of the charred floor.
Blood pooled around the hero as the energies he had been controllig dissapated.
---------------------U.L.T.R.A. Outpost, Warburg------------------
A faint beeping alerted Angus to a lapse in Acanous' vitals. He paused over his computer, then opened a satelite uplink to verify that Acanous was still in this dimension, just in case it was a distance problem.
Noting that he appeared to still be in Steel Canyon, the android shrugged, and made a small note in the personnel files.
"July 6th, 2029. Acanous recieved lethal damage from an unknown source. Be sure to check in to this when he gets back."
--------------------The Void--------------------
It was dark. It always is. Every time this happens, I forget how dark it is. The pain is gone. I suppose that's a good thing, for most. For me, it's just a temporary reprieve.
Some would just give up when they get here, let the cosmic wave take them into the herafter.
Me, I don't have that option. I have a job to do.
Turning away from the darkness, I focus on the things that keep life worth living.
Family
Friends
The people I have to save...
The darkness faded, forming a picture of the Arachnos base in Steel Canyon. Pain wracked Acanous, but he focused it, used it, his mind and body physically incapable of working, but his Soul unwilling, or unable to give up the fight. From the wellsprings of his psyche, it latched on to the only hold it had-
his Faith.
Like an inverted Soul Storm, the world shook at the near loss of one of the Keepers of Reality- Energies syphoned from nearly everyone and everything in the immediate vacinity flooded to patch the wounds of the Hero.
The room spun around him as some obscure part of reality itself Changed, leaving Acanous standing whole, in a small river of his own blood.
(Soul Transfer. Normally it's an autohit mag 30 irrisistable stun, but within the confines of this RP, that'd be WAY too cheesey and broken)
"Let's finish this" -
I want a big 'ol tree branch, with leaves still on it for Mace. It'd be great, and give a more... powerful feel to the set

Please remove the stealth and perception caps. Or at least raise them so that people with Grant invis can be of benefit to Stalkers, and people with Tactics could help thier team SEE stalkers at a range greater than 10 feet.

Sadly, we're kinda stuck as is. The good news is that there IS a place you can go to duel in an open environment.
Warburg.
It's what it's there for. -
Acanous tossed another Wisp over the side, then noticed that the Rularuu had stopped coming. They backed off a bit, thier attention turned towards something else.
Ruladek towered over them, his head and shoulders visable, swatting Jaeger off his nose.
Acanous turned to Energon X.
"You gonna be OK? Methinks they're gonna need our help over there, and I did call this one" -

While we know it might be impossible until a server-less configuration, cross-server zones are very, very high on player wish lists.

Amen. -
As the bubble faded, and Acanous regained his vision, he saw the group of robots in front of him, arms raised and blasters charged He wasted no time, leaping streight into the air, a brutal onslaught of plasma catching in his energy field, the searing heat causing blisters and burns even though he haddn't taken the whole thing.
Belatedly, he released his own torrent of plasma from his left gauntlet, directed back at the bots, scattering thier slag out the window.
Landing on the partially melted floor, Acanous let out a gasp of pain, his skin cracked and bleeding in several places. Pain clouded his mind, as rage seethed and bubbled in his psyche. Blood slickened his armour, and boiled as it touched the floor, adding an ironlike tinge to the air.
Barely holding on to his sanity, Acanous lunged for the Arbiter, kicking pieces of molten floor up behind him. Reaching between dimensions, Acanous sundered a hole between realities, pulling the tenticals of a hungry thing from the abyss out of the void, directly under the arbiter (Twilight Grasp) -
lol crime in the D.
IT'S AN EXTRADIMENSIONAL SPACE.
thusly, laws do not apply. Even international laws don't apply to extradimensional space. The laws of PHYSICS barely apply, why the heck would ones we make up to impose on ourselves?
Also, seeing as DJZero is the one who controlls the extradimensional space, his word is the only law that counts for everyone there. He says no fighting, there's no fighting.
Now, pickpocketing and the like, might slide.
In which case it should be RP'd in the correct manner. -
(Jeez, get called in for one extra shift, miss out on 3 pages...)

Acanous's attempts would seem to be in vain, as his efforts were effortlessly blocked by the limits of his Detention Bubble. Nothing he could do would touch the outside, and vice versa. If he did go through with his plan, however, he would only be sapping energy from the air around him.
Whatever his plan was, he would need to act quickly. Jake's robots were almost ready for an assault, and would be cancelling out the shield and firing on the unwanted guess in roughly five seconds.
[/ QUOTE ]
(Diddn't know it was Detention bubble, thought it was a hold or immob)
Noticing that the bubble was containing all of his Negative energy, Acanous switched tactics. Manipulating his surrounding energies, Acanous concealed himself in a black-on-black field. Furthermore, he activated a small device built into his boots that would conceal him further (CoD+Stealth IO)
He dropped into a low crouch, almost kneeling, ready to dodge whatever might come flying at him when the bubble popped. -
Stopped suddenly by the bubble of green energy, Acanous nonetheless continued along his origional attack chain. Pushing a button on the inside of his right gauntlet, he set his microcomputer to begin absorbing energy from the surrounding area. (Dark consumption)
The room grew darker yet again as energy began to be pulled from every available source. Light, sound, even electricity was being stolen and converted into more negative energy, which in turn was refracting the remaining light in the room, causing disturbing partial-images to begin appearing, and making Acanous even harder to target through the thick, inky blackness.
(Ac isn't actually trying to hurt anyone just yet, he's going for accuracy debuffs. He's got 3 single-target ones lingering around Jack from my count (Touch of Fear, Smite, Blackwand) and 3 AoE's. (Cloak of Fear, Dark Regeneration, Dark Consumption)The net effect is actually quite severe-but that's how Dark is supposed to be played) -
Falling back into the building, Acanous continued his flip, catching himself on the floor with both feet and his left hand. A little bit of blood trickled onto the carpet dfrom behind the veil of negative energy.
"That stung"
Acanous glared at the floating arbiter.
expecting another two-and-one barrage, he poured out an alarming ammount of negative energy, enough to alter his local time and space. The effect on the room was a dimming of light, muffling of sound.
Shadows semed to lengthen, the refraction of light making it seem as though things were moving just out of sight.
All of this was a secondary effect, however, of the timestream in Acanous' localized area being reversed. His wounds closed as they had happened, his armour mending itself. He streightened, the expenditure of energy leaving him a little fatigued, dispite the physical rejouvenation.
He fired another beam of negative energy, this one concentrated for damage- at Arbiter Jake as he began strafing across the room in preperation for another three bolts.
