Let's discuss Apex, and why he looks absolutely horrible in game.

We've already got plenty of gothic dark emo crap.

Make an Assault Rifle/Deivces blaster.

Pick the sniper rifle as your weapon.

Only use the Snipe power and Cloaking Device.

Bam, there's your Sniper.

Sooo basically you're asking them to spend tons of time and programming from here on out to list every possible route that could be thought of to take on these missions. Right, okay, let's play that game.


I want the devs to code choices from here on out that my character slapped their contact in the face, and that'll lead to it's own branch of missions.

I want them to make a choice for me to stub my toe, trip, and fall flat on my face during the climactic final battle of each arc, causing the final boss to laugh hysterically and leave, creating a new ending as opposed to the one where we would have fought.

I'd also want a choice that I could just say "Eff you!" to the Freedom Phalanx and all of their TFs and just go off on my own and start my own TF, because my character doesn't like the Freedom Phalanx and would think of themselves as better. This means the devs need to find a spot, put my character there, and design an arc of missions.



This is all, of course, with your logic that we should have a million and one choices with each crossroads.

Why does Apex look so terrible in game? I thought he looked perfectly fine in the comic. Now, he looks like some blind guy threw random cans of paint at him and sent him on his way. >.<

If you don't step in they'd kill each other. If you knock Cleo out and drag her to jail, the PPD'd kill her, or Marauder would unleash everything he has and go on a killing spree. If you don't kill Cleo and knock Washington out, the PPD will be all over you in a serious attempt to kill you, while Cleo'd have to go into hiding or else she'd get killed. In the end, death will happen, it's inevitable.

Is it bad story telling? No. Not at all. Preatoria's all about making hard choices because it's a different dimension with so many different shades of morality. Different set of rules to define what's good and evil. So many people complain about wanting to be a hero but don't realize that in this dimension, heroes aren't the same as they are in Primal Earth. Sometimes they do have to use lethal force to ensure the safety of everyone around them.

One word: stairs.

Soo, what I'm getting from this is Apex looks terrible, especially compared to how he looks in the comic, Jay's a weenie, Fitness will be made incredibly awesome, 20 comes before 19, and everything else is a bunch of "maybe"s, but are at least being looked into. Not too bad.

I went to the theaters with a crapton of friends, so I did my part to support it. Sad to see it bombed on sales, though. I absolutely loved watching it.

Ninja Run + Sprint + Hurdle + Swift = pretty damn awesome mobility and speed. It also saves on slots and powers, as Ninja Run and Sprint are inherit, and most people typically take Hurdle or Swift on their way to Stamina. I just took both because I had an extra power slot, though, but I love it.

It's so obvious.


We're getting an Egyptian Super Booster pack. That's the only reason they'd post a pic featuring Horus.

I loved that trailer.

Vigilantes come in two different flavors.


You get the softer vigilantes that will step outside of the law when necessary and do what it takes to stop a villain, but won't go so totally insane as to be borderline villainous. These characters have heroic intentions but realize that working within the law isn't the best route most of the time.

Then you get the more hardcore vigilantes, aka Punisher. These vigilantes go totally bat **** insane and will absolutely murder and destroy anything bearing resemblance to evil. They're entirely dedicated to getting rid of criminals and probably don't even know what a law is, let alone consider operating within it.

I feel these missions cater to both types of vigilantes at times, recognizing that just because you're a vigilante doesn't mean you're as nuts as the Punisher.



Also, rogues are in it for themselves. While villains go all out in the name of evil, world domination, making the hero's day terrible, etc. Rogues are in it for themselves, seeking to churn a profit and looking out for number one. They're more motivated by greed than by being evil for evil's sake.

I loved #7.

I've said this elsewhere, but I'll say it again here.

It feels dirty that the devs give us absolutely horrible dance emotes for years, never showing any interest in making at least something that people actually do while dancing, then decide "Oh hey, want to upgrade from those awful dance emotes? Especially dance6? And ya know those things you've been asking for for years? We're gonna make you pay extra for it."

Just feels wrong.

Why fix what ain't broken?
