The itf challenge isn't that hard, we've done past speed runs where we've had no deaths. This new -1 diff setting just exposes how clueless the dev's are.
They adjust the merit rewards, then they give you 5 levels worth of more powers when you exemp, which let's you run the tf's and ouro stuff faster. Watch, they'll lower the merits in an issue or two because we're earning them "too fast". -
Quote:We did ours on the first try, but on the -1 diff setting it wasn't even a challenge. The master badges are a joke now.Yep, that was a first run with everyone and being that it was a pick up team, stoked me even more
But I have helped others get it already. Now, Iu'm just wasting my time on the Reichsmen TF that isn't awarding the Master of badge, instead it disconnects the damn map server when you have him down to like 1000hp or less, and when you log back in, the TF is completed but don't get any rewards.
Done that twice now to me, and I'm about fed up with it already.
Thank god we have beta testers....lol
**Edit**
Actually, no. That was my second attempt team, the first one was a failed run due to ambush in the 3rd mission. They were trying to port people to the computer and got nailed. But things like that happen. -
Quote:We were the first to do it on Live. I guess we haven't wanted to face the sophomore slump.
Pinnacle was the first to do the redside one. I think that that one VG who isn't around anymore tried to run one the night before so they could be cool, but they failed miserably. I was the lead stone on the hami raid....trying to remember who my personal kin was, spazz, jazz? something like that. Wonder what happened to that guy. -

Quote:Looks delicious but i'd fall over dead after eating it. I thought it was sausage gravy on there at first, which is even worse. I try and follow the Jack Lalanne philosophy.. "if man made it, don't eat it."Anyone else see the new KFC sandwich?

They replaced the bread with more chicken, added cheese and bacon, and it comes with its own body bag with the Col. Sanders' smiling face on it. -
I once dated a girl that lived in this apt building in a city known for racial pockets of diversity. This particular area had a lot of indian residents. Upon opening the front door of the apartment, the overwhelming stench of curry would make your eyes run. So disgusting.

My work life is like this.....

ok well not really. I don't live in hawaii, or have a moustache. And none of my black friends own a helicoptor. But i do have the tigers hat.
Ok maybe a little more like this..

Of course i can't complain about work. 99% of my day involves playing video games on my laptop while stealing internets from unsecured wireless connections. -

Quote:I listed a program above that found things that AVG couldn't find. That was the last day i used AVGIMO, there's nothing better than AVGFree. I had a trojan about 2 years ago, and AVGFree was the ONLY program that was able to remove it. Avast and the others all said it was removed, but after a reboot and rescan, it was still there.
AVGFree also found various other files that Avast and the rest missed. -
There are three programs i use when cleaning up people's PC's for them. I've brought many back to life and i've never had to reinstall an operating system on any of my pc's.
1. Malwarebytes found here http://www.malwarebytes.org/
I run a full scan about once a week.
2. Anti-Virus. Few years back I had a virus and AVG, Norton, Avast and like 9 other programs couldn't find it. I used this program and it found it. It's free and will find stuff the others won't find. It doesn't look fancy but it works. You want the XT Pro version, not the enterprise. Found here..... http://dailyfreeware.net/2006/09/26/removeit-pro-xt-se/
3. The third program I use on a daily basis is Auslogics Boostspeed. It defrags, cleans up clutter, defrags the ram and registry, and makes everything run smooth. I run a lot of torrents so when i want to play COV i run this then do a restart and the game runs very smooth. It's available here http://www.auslogics.com/en/software...speed/download
To also increase performance, If you have multiple hard drives, is to keep as little as possible on your C drive. Also, be sure to do your windows updates.
And most importantly, you want as few programs as possible running when you start your PC. The RemoveIT xt Pro program in number 2 has a box on it's menu called "startup files". You click that and it shows you what programs are going to be running when you start your pc. You can choose to delete these startup keys so your computer starts with only what it needs to run. This will cause your computer to start up faster, and have better performance.
A lot of times when kids, or people who aren't too computer saavy use a pc, they click links and things they shouldn't, or don't read when downloading things and unknowingly install uneeded toolbars and malicious programs. These programs listed above work excellent for myself and everyone i have given them to. -

I'm from Pinnacle where Major Tom's Narcolepsy was refined to the fine power it is today, although he hasn't activated it over there much recently, i'm still glad to see he is still using it, as it is 6-slotted with Fortunata hypnosis.

Well if other servers could participate, i know i could get a team that would accept the winnings on champion. my slots are full on Pinn anyways. Or i could trade it to Neuronia or Major Tom

Quote:this open to other servers? since it can be accessed in the AE?In an effort to make Champion the most fun server to be on, ALL-OUT-WAR (AOW) has issued the following challenge:
Dec. 13th is the ALL-OUT-WAR 2nd yr. anniversary. At 7PM EST AOW will be hosting a team oriented event.
A special AE mission will be set up and the fastest team to get through it will win! There will be prizes for the top 10 teams that finish fast. The prizes are based on how many are on the team. Base amount for 1 person is 300 Million plus 100 Million for additional hero. This means if there is 1 person you get 300 Million, 2 people get 400 Million each, etc., so 8 people get 1 Billion each.
Now the catch: All members on the team MUST be from your sg or divisions of your sg. This means United Legends Brigade may team with United Heroes Brigade. Your sg may bring more than one team to the competition.
Use ALL available resources, this is a great time to teach and learn about IO's, Temp Powers, and Accolades. Try different character builds in a team and find your group of friends and power sets that best work for you.
All teams must pre-register before 5PM EST on Saturday Dec. 13th/09
There is a AE Mission that will prep you for the main event AOW 8 BILLION AE CHALLENGE (ID 309894), if you can rock this, you will be ready!
REMEMBER: HAVE FUN THAT IS AN ORDER -

I liked GI.JOE. I could care less about the joes, besides snake-eyes. It's all about Cobra. They showed a little history of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. They set up Destro pretty cool, and part 2 should be awesome since Zartan is the president. I was disappointed that Sgt. Slaughter didn't make a cameo, instead we got Brendan fraser...
