See, cats are so independant of things, they're often just about disconnected from reality.

ORLY!
Happy birthday dude!
Your hair is on fire. -
Free'm!
Jus's.
InfiniTEEE
um...
Protec...tor...
Nah, freem is about it lol. -
Mine usually are hubs which you can get to other hubs or generally be involved with important things: Talos, Kings Row, Atlas and Peregrine. Because of the placement of tp beacons some are better than others.
Man we're lazy. -
Yes, it is. You have to have at least ONE friend in the game who can make a mule character right? Get yourself to level 10, start your SG.
Invite them to it, and switch out your characters, having them boost them into the group and change their rank if needed. Then, they either stay in the sg if you trust em, or leave if you request it - bingo, you have a 1-person SG. -
Just remember that some people don't like some things about everyone. Sit. Stay.

Yeah one of the alien heads in Full Masks, and push the sliders around. It's possible to get some odd looking shapes.
-
I figure if you get more than 200 hits and don't bother reading any of the threads they're in, maybe... there's something else to consider.
Yeah, search in this game forum is pretty stupid. But google does work, and it's not THAT hard to get an idea of how many times an idea has come up, if you DO use the proper search methods. -
Indeed. If it was a possibility we'd have seen it. Heck, I'd have paid full price for it. But it's not likely - we just had this discussion in another thread just last week.
*Because* NC adequately demonstrated their ability to patrol and snip out infringements, much of Marvel's suit was rendered null. But without that patrol and monitoring ability, this is just a tool for NC to make money off of Marvel's territory - yes that's ridiculous, but it's how law firms think of it. -
Yeah Scott Kurtz just lost his dog Kirby recently, and it was a terrible blow to everyone who reads PVP. And while he admits he's never going to "get over" Kirby, he did go to a specialized shelter and pick up TWO bassets (as was Kirby) - share the love. There are plenty of puppies who wont' know the kind of love that Liberty had, or Kirby, or anyone else's beloved pet.
Some time not too soon and not too far away, I'm sure that there will be a wonderful, completely different soft slobbery warm spot in your heart. It won't ever fill the hole left by the last one, but it'll snuggle up none the less. -
Boo. Well, I hope someone jumps to get you hired.
Take care. -
I swear, every Friday night around 11-ish, Protector would go down for 'maintenance'.
My favored theory on this was the cleaning ladies unplugged the server rack to plug in their vacuume cleaner. -
Pffff lol.
Saw an npc in the AE building in Talos say something straight from pinky and the brain, today, "but where are we going to get leather pants in our size?" -
Way back in COV beta, there was one particular door which led a lot of people into glitchy territory.
My poor zombies. They didn't quite know whether they're in heaven or hell.
Of course, there are some built in glitches. I am still not certain, because I haven't placed one in a base recently, whether we still live on Bizarro Earth.
And then there was a geometry glitch under Port Oakes...
This is what I mean about the 'quilting' pattern on things. It was about a month of this and then my video card just did NOT work any more. If you see that, time to fix your compy.
Then there's also the headless guys behind glass. That's still unnerving. -
Ppppfffff yeah, "old".
I remember 36.
That was 2003. Admittedly, not THAT long ago.
There's plenty of "old" folks around. You'd be surprised.
Happy birthday and welcome back anyway -
That happened to me viewing in Atlas a couple years ago, right before my video card stopped working entirely.
Check to see that your video card isn't running hot, make sure your computer is *clean* and dust free and cooled properly, update drivers.
Aside from those things, if you start noticing odd textures like 'quilting' patterns on things (people, scenery) it's definitely time for a new graphics card. If that doesn't happen, just keep the compy cool. -
Probably *extremely* hard. Remember that they're already taking into account 3 dimensional expansion for most parts, but what we DON'T have are "muscle sliders" and any distinction between upper and lower body / arm / leg thickness.
I'd settle for the ability to bulk out arms or legs, abdomen and the like separately, because at least most of the work's already been done. It might have the same code but they'd need to "stop at this area" on the body, "start at this area" for arms/legs.
A primary concern is how this would all affect clipping issues, and while there are some small issues allowed (the valk cape and wings for instance) it's of primary concern to the animation and art crew that things look *excellent*. All costume parts would have to be tested on all three body forms, and adjusted if possible for serious issues.
I think that'd be way more work than necessary, really. -
And today I had to put a cone on my one cat's head. He licks so much that it's the only way to keep him from licking. So now, not only is he slinking around bumping into things and backing up and freaking out, the OTHER cats are also all freaking out.
They'll get used to it. Oh the things we have to do for our pets -
Indeed, and the reason why I said "choose between them" is because the moment anyone suggests Origin-based anything and not allow it to be chosen, someone ELSE comes along and whines about it NOT being fair to them.
A mage might use a tool found in an abandoned science lab. A mutant may be able to change reality and appear to use magic.
The point being, given certain options at character creation, yes very similar to the prestige sprints, it WOULD be a nice way to customize the characters even further.
Given the fact that we do now have what appears to be the long-awaited and much-discussed power customization ability, largely, I believe, due to the fact that Paragon Studios now has twice as many people working for them than they did... I don't see it being a real problem for programming.
At this point, they've got the man power. Now they just need the time to do it, and given how much cooler things are looking these days for the company, I don't think that'll be a problem. -
If you can get the specific info again, send a /bug anyway.
-
If it didn't have SOMETHING, it'd be lame. Just "pop" and there you are. With the animation, at least you've got something to look at and judge your timing with, since it IS a clicky power.
If they made one animation for each of the Origins, *and you could choose among them* ... maybe. But not if it was enforced per-origin, and certainly it's not an emote-possible power so choosing on the fly (like flight, pardon the pun) is extremely unlikely. -

That makes more sense. Thx.

Not a problem.
