All fun and games until someone gets murdered..
What a great concept and beautifully done. It's funny how I know most of the toons in there by name; I think I have been playing this game to long. -

oh boy... That was pretty sweet I could favorite almost all your work in your gallery... Some great stuff man.
The lich is very cool. I like the long hair (nice touch) and that helmet is killer with the creepy gleam as he is grabbing his sword. Good job on the flowing robe. so much things I like about this. the lighting, the mood, coloring, texture. damn nice.
I looked at the sketch and think this looks better than the original. -
Big fan of PinUp Girl; this is no exception.

Nice work as always DJ; question for ya did you do a different technique than on previous work; the shadowing in this one seems different; I like it..or maybe its not the shadowing but something is different in this from previous ones...

Thanks.I tend to get a little carried away when it comes to photoshop manipulations.
I realized today that editing a real pic is sooo much easier than actually coming up with shades and colors on my own. I need a lot of practice at that, but even more practice at adding backgrounds to pictures.
I tried drawing in a sheet covered bed as the background to my most recent picture and I ended up getting frustrated and attacking it with the blur tool.
Any recommendation's as a place to look for background help?

I just google images for what I'm looking for or think im looking for. Sometimes you find things when your looking for other stuff. Rule of thumb is make a folder for your projects and anything you see that you think you could use or like; save it. -ASAP... Even if you may not use it right away. If you do not save it you could lose it or not be able to find it later. Start by building a library of images for textures, shapes, ideas, etc...
I will tell you this you will find yourself looking at a ton of images. sometimes you find things right away other times it takes a while.
Best word of advise I can give is be patient; don't get tooooo frustrated. I have spent hours if not days on something and end up scrapping it or find something I like better that takes me 5 minutes. It is Hit and miss a lot. Just keep plugging away at it. I want to see more.
