So I was taking some pics of my new hair cut, and when I got them onto my pc I realized that my hair reminds me of the hair I drew for my ice/dark corrupter Aliandra.
She is my current favorite pvp (yeah I said it) alt and I was bored so...Well this happened. Aliandra turned human..ish

Ah 15 minutes of wasted time. But I like how it turned out.
Just thought I would share my ridiculousness.

Very pretty! It's always so hard to get a good photo manip of your alts, it's a good idea to make them yourself

Thanks.I tend to get a little carried away when it comes to photoshop manipulations.
I realized today that editing a real pic is sooo much easier than actually coming up with shades and colors on my own.I need a lot of practice at that, but even more practice at adding backgrounds to pictures.
I tried drawing in a sheet covered bed as the background to my most recent picture and I ended up getting frustrated and attacking it with the blur tool.

Any recommendation's as a place to look for background help?

I just google images for what I'm looking for or think im looking for. Sometimes you find things when your looking for other stuff. Rule of thumb is make a folder for your projects and anything you see that you think you could use or like; save it. -ASAP... Even if you may not use it right away. If you do not save it you could lose it or not be able to find it later. Start by building a library of images for textures, shapes, ideas, etc...

I will tell you this you will find yourself looking at a ton of images. sometimes you find things right away other times it takes a while.

Best word of advise I can give is be patient; don't get tooooo frustrated. I have spent hours if not days on something and end up scrapping it or find something I like better that takes me 5 minutes. It is Hit and miss a lot. Just keep plugging away at it. I want to see more.
