Mainly commenting because you say you have never run a Doc Q before.
Unless you have an experienced team that knows exactly what they're doing, how to cut corners and speed... Doc Q is about 7.5 hours of sheer torment. Otherwise it can be done in 3 if you have a speed team of vets who know the TF inside and out.
I've never done it under 7.5 hours before. Painful TF...for me anyways. >.> I'd love to be on one of those 3 hour teams one of these days. -
Looks like you still have room for 2, count me and my husband in.
I don't know what I'll be bringing...maybe my grav/rad controller. He'll probably bring his shield/elec tank or his plant/storm controller. -
Quote:From your screenshots, it looks like you didn't use any judgement, destiny, lore, or interface powers? Is that correct? You did this with just the alpha boost?
If so, MAJOR CONGRATS!
Even if you did use the new incarnate powers, thats still something to seriously brag about. Great job!
My husband and I also duoed the ITF, we did ours a couple months ago and posted all of our screenies and such in the Justice forum. Our time was something like an hour and 30. We did it on our controllers and used no temp powers or temp pets. Was quite fun! -
Quote:You mean the CT? Yeah, seen it. Not the first time... A couple of the costume pices intentionally make that look happen for the ladies. I'm a girl and I took notice pretty quick. I was like...is she...? O.oThis is great and all, but everyone keeps missing what Nightstar has going on in that clip. Next time I run the BAF I will snap a pic of that.
More proof that this game was made by men. -
Quote:Why not petition? I got rolled back and lost the rare alpha slot component that I had made and slotted. I petitioned last night at 7pm or so, and this morning I had enough shards to recraft.Welp this will teach me not to claim anything from the market after maintenance. Doesnt seem like GM's really like to look into it and i have no desire to rebuild from scratch since i have lost most of my loose inf.
Later.
They are probably getting a lot of petitions. Be patient. -
It's not fair to ther people who got rolled back before nor is it to those of us who lost influence, lvls, or shards...etc...
I petitioned and I'm hopeful they will grant me he return of my ASlot goodie. I have proof that I had the thing, so... *shrugs* -
Another rollback. I lost my VR Aslot that was slotted about an hour before the second round of maint. today...
Petitioned. -
People were estimating about 4 - 6 hours before the original start to this mornings maint period. Though someone on our global channel said he lost progress as far back as 16 hours.
-
Some people lost entire levels, some people lost brand new toons, some people lost story arc progress, recipes, Alignment merits, WW transactions, and a host of other things.

Quote:And if it happened to NA in our primetime, we would probably be told we deserve nothing because we always get everything...Yes its only a game, but most europeans want to be treated equally as the same as people on the NA servers.
And for some of us our primetime was hours ago. When the servers start to come back u, IF they even come up at all in 90 minutes, it will be nearly 7pm EST. "Normal primetime" seems to begin around 5EST or so. Already past that with a 90 minute "to go" timer on it. And they may not even be up in 90. -
Quote:Not by me. It's just a game. People get so entitlement and bitter over things like this. Stuff happens, that's life. But I will point out it didn't happen during NA prime time, whereas it HAS been going on during EU prime time.
If it was NA prime time I can imagine they'd be a lot more complaints.
At the rate this is going, NAers probably won't get to play terribly much today either. There are other things to do besides MMO's. Yes, I went there. =P -
Um...the NA servers have been down this entire time, too. We, too, experienced severe rollback issues.

Quote:I can do the map at +3 X8 in about 15 minutes flat. I believe it's possible to get a toon from 1 - 50 in about 6 - 8 hours just using that. But, again, I don't know why anyone would want to. I should try it one day just for S&G.Also, no. I can achieve better XP / time ratios than I've ever seen anyone do on that one and I've seen it run by a fair few people.
It involves an even more build specific approach however.
The key is tailoring the map and the build towards each other exclusively and... lots of maths. -
He's probably refering to the cyborg fire ambush farm. Anything fire armor can solo the thing on +4 x8. My tank can. Anything else....almost insta-killed. It's a map that is geared towards a specific armor, and I do know a few that have petitioned it...it currently has a rating of 999 with a big gold star.
It's not an exploit at all per se, but I still don't think they devs want people going from 1 - 50 in 6 hours. I still don't know why anyone would want to. Sounds awfully boring to me. -
And it's already April 1st in some parts of the world.
They've done elaborate stuff like this as a "haha, April Fools" thing before.
At the moment I'm not going to believe it. -
And who does that many things on the average play session? I think some of you are just looking for something to gripe about.
And why would you even *want* a 50 in 6 hours? The only thing I can possibly think of is the fire cyborg AE farm. But again....why would you want a 50 in 6 hours?
Oh, and I am logged in after only 4 hours of downtime. There was no patch. -
Quote:1 - Not without an exploit you can't.I will talk about ingame stuff. What you can do in 6 hours
Get a toon from lvl 1-50
Do 6-9 Task forces
Get all Accolades (if you are lucky)
Farm 3 bill and more
Get 200-300 badges
etc
2 - I'd say 6; and that's if you speed them all and keep the same team for every single run, so you don't waste time of having to form again.
3 - When one of the accolades requires 6 TF's, and many of the others require many defeat 100 this or 100 that? No way. I'd love to see video proof of someone getting every single accolade in 6 hours.
4 - I have no comment on this one. But I don't see how.
5 - If you have the explore badges trackable with vidiotmaps, then maybe. But, damn, you'd have to be moving pretty fast.
The average player doesn't do the things you describe, in a typical play session. -

I guess I'm not normal... I still have my original boxes and the activation e-mails. It even says in the game book, or mine did, that you should keep the serial code and stuff for the future in case ANYTHING happens with your account.
I am also one of those that don't use gibberish as my security Q. I actually use something I will, without a doubt know and remember. And if I think I won't? I write it down. -
I usually face him solo; even doing so on my grav/storm. It took a while, but between me and my Singu, Trapdoor was permaheld until I had to talk to him. Was easy, but it took a little while.

As an American married to an Australian (and also a lover of british shows) there isn't much slang that I don't know. I know more slanguage than my husband, poor bloke...
Although I still remember when I didn't know any, and during one of our first conversations he said he had a torch near his keyboard so that he could see. I was like...you have...a...wha...???
Yes, I imagined one of those flaming sticks sitting on the corner of his desk in some sort of tribal looking holder to keep it from setting his surroundings on fire. I finally found out that "torch" meant flashlight.
Whoops! -
Quote:I have 270 toons acrosss two accounts. 28 lvl 50's, and a least 30 more in the 30's - 40's. You think I want to respec ALL of those; especially the higher lvl ones? Who in the heck has that sort of time and patience and inf? I know I don't.I also have trouble understanding people not respeccing to inherent Fitness and min-maxing their builds.
Like someone has already said... I want to play. I don't want to waste all of my time respeccing toons much less planning the perfect build for each and every one of them. -
While that is true, it's too boring without a little bit of a challenge, hence my settings.
And no, when I farm I am not PLing anyone or running for prestige. I generally don't mind if the shard drops are slower running at +2. I haven't noticed a difference. Last time I did that map for shards I got about 6 of them in 45 minutes, which is more than I have had on some kill most ITF's. -
Shard drops are random by defeating lvl 50 baddies. People have done the math and there is a higher likely hood (I think) of shards dropping from bosses rather than minions.
I just use the old battle maiden map set to X8 +2 and go to town. Though now that I have my very rare alpha slotted, I need to put it up to almost +4 just so it feels like a challenge. -
Quote:Completely false. You may be getting 2 - 3 shards on a 20 minute ITF every time you run one, but not everyone is. One of my last ITF's was over an hour and a half (shard run) and I got a total of 5 shards. For an hour and a half.you are wrong... in a 20 min ITF run you get 2-3 shard, in a half hour STF you net 4-5 shards..... so if you do a ITF/LGTF/STF combo you may end up with more shards than a normal ITF that will take the same time.... plus a lot more merits or components
Likewise my husband has done a kill all ITF and ended up with only 3 shards at the end. And I have also had times running 45 minute ITFs and getting 8 shards or more by the end. It's random and it varies.
Honestly...I have the best luck at Hami raids. I generally get 3 - 6 shards before the end reward, and Justice Hami raids tend to take about 15 - 25 minutes.
