Just to offer my perspective on two very different mutant felines of mine...

Alta is just your average, unlucky girl just starting college when BAM! Suddenly a feline. Boyfriend dumped her, friends stop visiting as often... Kind of hard to get used to the fact your friend is now a cat. Gives her a kind of bitter resentment about it all, and some frustration, which she gladly takes out on thugs on the street. It's their fault, in her mind, she's a feline anyway. Guilty by association.

On the other hand, (Insert name here - I forgot her name, sadly... and I'm lagging too much to check) is a more.. uh. Normal person. Dancer, aspirations of acting, lives in a neat little apartment. Cat mutation kicked in during a practice routine, hospitalized her for a bit. Got back up and went right on with her life... only now, she fights crime! Pondering making it the same latent genetic factor that Alta got stuck with, but we'll see... I gotta play hero more often.

Mutation is a fun way to play with some neat personality concepts! Though it all really depends on what your vision of 'mutant' really is... I tend to look at the more Marvel version of it. >.>

Hmm.. if I could be any one of my characters... Well, I suppose it would help if I actually had a character hero-side that'd actually last past 10. But the general background is always sort of the same (barring a few creative oddities, like Alta living in her parent's basement)...

Strong young lady, comfortably well-off (but not exactly at the plateau of 'rich'), and either living with someone very special, or by themselves and still looking.

Radiant Girl is the person I'm thinking of working on next (spunky young college student with the power to.. well.. radiate deadly energy.), though Graviton Lass (Or was it Gravimetric? I forget...) is another likely possibility. They're mostly the same, though, barring the fact that poor RG is no fun to cuddle with. As she's radioactive..

Forgot to mention you inspire me to try and draw things that aren't hopelessly chaotic doodles in the margins of my school books.

Animation Studio, Flash (I -think- you can make a .gif-only image in Flash, anyway)...

I wish I was kidding. When I heard that, I was kind of at a loss for words... and suggested he needed new friends, badly. And possibly police protection.

Well, I'd go back and edit the post myself... cut the link (sans tags), click the 'Instant UBB Code' URL link, and use that.

Also lets you make custom titles!

Though, I imagine it might also work if you just remove the image-tags on either side of the link, too, for ease and convenience.
