Hey fellow championites. As some of you may know I have been burning up the east coast from Virgina to Boston to Cleveland as far west as Chicago for the last 2 years or so. Having teamed with so many of you and spoken to many of you on vent I was thinking about starting a thread with pictures of fellow championites toasting in one of the local dives, pubs, brewery in your neighborhood.

Send me a pm or a tell in game if you are interested. Also if anyone is in/near Philly please message me soon as I am dying to go back to Eulogy (a classic euro bar right next to the liberty bell) for their Chemay.

What a great job right out of the gate Nibs. All of champion is so proud

Order of The Champion Fared well about 500k prestige Most Amazing and I combined for about 2 billion influence and 3 new members. Even with the mapservers it was tolerable as an old school hamiraid on my old nvidia 4000 series video card.

Gratzi to Hinden and Nano for hitting 50 on our double xp LGTF run pretty much lag free. Gratzi to Eric and Empress not only for their additional new account but for rocking a new WP/Stone tanker build (Schoolyard Hero). Gratzi to MAH for finally having enough influence to finish his Empath Defender. Gratzi to Dragon Blud for suffering from the worst case of doublexpaltitis I've ever witnessed.

Gratzi to LiL H (now under an new global) for getting kicked from yet another team and SG for having too big a mouth.

Hey Meow! I'm with you in that I don't really care for the boards. Seems the devs are interested in starting new fires to distract us rather than putting out the ones that have been burning for so long we just ignore them..(HPs accolades not granting HPs, chat bugs, WW lag, AE lag, ITF lag, LGTF lag, losing a baddie in the ceiling on a kill all, holes in maps, PVP [sorry I had to go there], and now the boards)

Also the font is too small to comfortably read on the thread area. And where the the "Read all posts" on a thread option go?

Here is the DR Q we ran pugstyle with two fire ems pvp spec (no fireball, RoF, or inferno), no kin, and a tank the fell asleep for two missions XD.

Droid Rage is really a probe checking the condition of CoH/V for recolonization for Wildstar, Evil Toy Soldier, and the rest of the Galactic Empire!!!

Electro....not to rain on your parade but ITF is not the best TF to run the kill all, only because the second mission is so full of lag. STF, LGTF, even the new TF is better suited for this. I love the idea though. I would like to do an Eden trial this way in the future.

Sudden Death is just what you said. However since it is such a new component of the game I wouldn't expect the entire field to know what it is or how it works.

SO, with that in mind, if at the end of a tie match. It is just that tie. any kills during the sudden death period are not counted. (i am counting on our players being honest since most of us know eachother I am not anticipating a problem)

both teams exit. then report the tie. then if both teams agree to a rematch. 5 minutes and if it is still tie the sudden death kill in the rematch will count.

Hallo!! Tonight is the night!!

2v2....Pocket D.....7.30 pm eastern to gather first round starts at 8pm.

If we have 10 or more teams the prize winnings 600 Million influence!!!

Here are the rules.

Arena insps and temps only. (no fortunes or base temps)
Diminishing Returns ON
Travel Supression OFF
Heal Decay OFF
Matches are not to begin until each team calls 'ALL IN'
Maps may be selected if agreed upon by both teams. If teams cannot agree on a map the selection will be random and no resets will be allowed.

VENGANCE IS ALLOWED (this is new and was changed due to popular request)

In the event of a Sudden Death announcement (as noted by any player) the match is a draw unless both teams unanimously agree to a 5 minute overtime rematch. The result of that match is final, even if it reaches sudden death. I am expecting the quality of player in this event to be above cheating. So come to play and have fun and I will take care of any outlying behavior.

Depending on the turnout we will have 4 to 5 rounds of matches to determine the top 8 then move to single elimination swiss rounds to determine the winners.

I would like to nominate @Southern Belle, toon Christmas Wishes as played by Enigma for Champion's Most Honorable Hero

He has consistently maintains great relationships with all players, SGs and forumites alike.

Arguably has the best PvP/PvE hybrid Empath build in the game, perma AB and 10 secs off perma RAs.

Has generously donated infulence, time, IOs, build advice to players in and outside his SG for the betterment of the community without thought of anything in return.

Killer Costume.

I have almost reached my 60 month badge and played with many of Champions 'Celebs'. In the crossfire drama of our wonderful server, Christmas Wishes and the hero behind the mask has never had a bad thing said about either. No other hero can claim a better reputation.

So it is with a proud voice I proclaim Enigma's toon Christmas Wishes be named Champion's Most Honorable Hero.

I'm not exactly sure how sudden death works. I only saw it once when I was practicing against X, 1v1. Basically we were tied at the very end, in combat. Timer runs out and I instantly drop dead, when I have 75% hp left.

Something is really messed up there. I don't know what the best way to make it work, until they add a button to make it optional ><

What SD does if the match is tied at 0:01 then it lowers each players HP to 1. It favors toons that use DoT or are built with phase or hib. I can see how it adds another layer of stragety to the event however it does not add a corresponding layer of 'fun' for the lack of a better word.

I can speak of all the times we have PvPed to a tie shin (not nearly as many as you have beaten me) it seems like almost a let down to win just by playing 'got you last'.
