I have to assume that all the existing forum areas will continue to exist, I mean... migration, not slash and burn right? I havn't actually seen them I've just been assured by Posi and Ocho that they are "all that".

Ocho and Niv walk by the server rack and notice a strange smell.

"It's coming from the Protector rack."

"There seems to be a melty, acid-trip-like rainbow vomiting out of that server. We might have to tell the guys about this..."

I don't know I haven't used it myself but most likely it's similar. Since all boards I've ever been on have roughly the same information - it'll just depend on whether they have a "board specific" theme or not. Most just use typical html code and [brackets ] instead of < these things>.

Actually I talked to Ocho about this yesterday and he knows about her. Remember that most of the people modding the forums do play - and he does play a lot He's been here for a while, including around her. Apparently GG heard about us randing and posted something on the eu forums in response

It'll very likely be just like these in most important respects. You'll log in, there will be sections, threading discussions, and search. Not much different from forum to forum.

Also, with powers that you can "drive by buff" they aren't applicable - your power is, but the results aren't, so far as I know.

Also, this is just the very first time we've gotten to see it. They're not done with it, by any means.

All of those things and more. I assure you from what I heard from Ocho today, the new forums will be the cat's meow.

Well, honestly, they are working hard on these things. I imagine at some point they'll just be tweaking what we've got. Just with these ones that require WHOLE changes rather than just color alts, I can't imagine they're going to be easy or quick.

"Very dark" will be available on certain sets. Not on all of them. But, I assure you, the "dark" version of most of the ones I've looked over looks AWESOME.

They're very happy with the boards, I'm told, so I hope it will go smoothly. In fact I had to remind Ocho that he needed to write some rules.

There is also the Titan network's forums, you know, with COH faces and all. We can descend there... heheh.

Since it's a power that would have to literally be re-drawn on every power, and every body build... They may be working on such things, but I dunno - I like the current one. It DOES look more "crystaline" but it has snowflakes. >_> i like the snowflakes.

Well, to his ultimate credit, Positron listened to me yapping, and then I told him that the Sin Spikes option for females is only found on like 2 head options - helmets - and I'd love to see them on the rest of the normal head options.

I've been told that they look awesome, I don't recall whether they were in the con build. But they may be, so if I see em I may try to post it.

They all looked awesome, I'm probably going to swing back again tomorrow provided my feets don't completely wear out.

The new "choose where you start" links at the top of the page are great, you can skip straight to trying to get a name, before bothering with anything else. Great call there.

I'm sure that other powers and effects will come along, this is only what they had ready to show us.

Posi said that basically when they got their new studio together, they had some sitdowns and talked about what it would take to get things rolling.

This was the top of the list, and they've been dedicated to getting the work done for like a year +. The work is top notch.

The new stuff is flipping awesome. Really, really cool. New kind of interface above so you can flip from the final screen to powers to costume in whatever order you want and back. Really cool.

No bug reports get personalized "thank you" letters, if that's what you mean. From what I've been told at cons, they DO look over every bug report. Whether they're high enough priority to do anything about, is really the question.

... If we've been having issues with getting NC mail, what then? I have to wonder, because the only NC emails I've been getting are my bug reports and petitions in the live game. Nothing whatsoever other than those.

This. I've accidentally scrolled on my home server list which has like 16 characters on it, and then gone back to another server list and found nothing, because it's stuck on the 2nd scroll over.
