My greatest lament is...
I don't have any of my newer screenies on this machine.
Ah well. :3c -
Very lovely style. I think it'd be a crime to art-fans everywhere if you gave up on your career as an artist, even if you only do it as a side-thing for fun.
Don't put the pencil down; T'would be a disservice.
Personally, I love the third piece; It's a very beautiful and elegant pose, and it's got a certain, arcing energy to it. -
I am outright loving the 'gritty' look of both pieces.
Very ace job, and I may have to write this name down on my 'I Wish' list of potential art commissions. >.> -
Very nice!
It definately screams 'You should avoid dark alleys'. -
:3
(Is there more that's really necessary to say, beyond this rhetorical question? I THINK NOT! [That and this are necessitated by the question itself. So, really, that nets out to nothing being said. Infact, why are you even reading this? Nothing to see here. Move along, citizen. Friend Computer is sure there's nothing for you to see here.]) -

It's true that mine'd be fabulous, but that's pretty much the exact pose and detail I was going for!
I'm going to have him killed for this. I hope you're happy now.

But...you're in Canada; surely murder for hire is a bit, well, impolite? Perhaps a mild talking-to instead.
Thanks for all the kind words, folks. I count myself fortunate to have this piece.

Now I'm going to have this horrible mental image of some guy hiring a mob linguist to give someone a stern talking to.
Which makes me wonder what kind of name that profession would have. Hit Lecturer? Hmm. -
...I totally had something to say, but for some odd reason my mind just sort of... shut off.
I'll get back to you after I stop drooling.
(Editor's note - Very swanky piece! Rrrrar.) -
Once again, dear sir, you have rofl'd my waffle.
Whatever that means. I heard it on de intarwebz. -
Is it wrong how horribly amusing it is to see people replying in a serious fashion to an ancient, undead thread? >_>
-
Whyyyy do you all contribute to this vile act of necromancy?
(Poster realized the futility of this post, and subsequently facedesked.) -
Priceless as always.
Now why can't MY cats be this cute... -
Very nifty.
Done just with markers, though? If so.. extra neat, because I tend to panic when I use anything but pencils. D: -
...Guess I'll be sticking with pants, then. >
My faith in Jay is shaken! SHAKEN!
...Not really, but man. :/ -
They just don't have the right hair for poor Nanao.
But, this is as close as I got.
Sadly, don't have any of my screenshots on-hand, nor one of her in her current 'Street Samurai' outfit like I tried to get. She's gone through a LOT of look updates over her 40+ levels. -
Very spifftacular stuff! Ms. Olympus does look a little pin-up for certain magazines, but it's a very nice piece overall. I really like it, even if she's a little... heavy for my tastes. If you know what I mean, nyoro~n. ;3 (How long has it been since I've done that on this board?)
But, after looking at some of the other things... Astounding, dear sirrah! -
Hm. But what about Apokolips Fury Kara? Short arc, but it was a pretty interesting look. >.>

but i think Powergirl's chest is overly large.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's not, really.
The original artist/creator, at one point, started increasing her bust size every issue to see how long it would take before someone noticed what he was doing.
Nobody did.
Therefore, poor Karen having an exceptional front presence is sort of canon now. -
Very awesome pieces, though the Linda version of SG seems a bit off on the hair, to me (too poofy, maybe?)... but outside of the DCAU, I was never fond of that look/personality for her anyway, so I may just be biased.
Power Girl, though, looks AMAZING. -
Dang. That's downright sexy.
...What? I can't ALWAYS post an innuendo. -
Grats! :3
I forgot to vote, but I really had a hard time deciding anyway. >.> -
Very nice piece.
Though, now I'm not sure which costume I actually see more of... I'm going to start paying a bit more attention!
...And, on a side-note, you have no idea how hard it was for me not to do my usual innuendo-style comment and append it with a trademark 'Nyoro~n. :3' just now.
:3 If you know what I mean, nyoro~n.
...Curses!
