If it's levelling up, you'll no doubt want to work towards stamina for lvl 20.
also, 1 slot on SJ, but 3 on Swift :S...please reverse those, you're never going to need any more than 1 slot on swift, unless for concept, perhaps. 4 slots on Combat Jumping is also unnecessary, use the extra slot to end reduse more costly powers, as the cost on CJ is *Much* lower than most of your primary powers.
How come you're taking the fighting pool so late? Running out of ideas? I'd recommend either planning that in carefully, or respec it in at a later point. You need to think carefully on what powers will benefit from the slots, so far, as 5 are wasted over CJ and Swift, if you ask me -

because the -res on /Rad powers is very very nice, just like all of the debuffs from defender secondaries
[/ QUOTE ]
I think you mean -defense which is also an extremely useful secondary effect.

Sorry, confused it with /Sonic :P -
Every kind of defender is to it's own. On top of what's already been said, don't restrict /Rad to just solo. I personally have a gripe with self-proclaimed 'pure empaths' or 'greater than thou' empaths, because the -res on /Rad powers is very very nice, just like all of the debuffs from defender secondariers if you can fit it around Fort and RA
Basically, come lvl 30ish, you will tend to rely on your heals less, and your buffs far more, as most of your teammates are more well rounded, and benefit from being more survivable, instead of relying on being babysat by a HA spamming empath. -
For fear of being Lynched, what does it matter? If you build your toon, and play it well, and more importantly *enjoy it*, regardless of a potentialy slew of 'omg u r FotM n00b', you'll still have fun, right?
I've played Kat/DA and FF/Psi, and am currently focusing on Illu/Storm (potentially FotM, i know), but i have NEVER had as much fun as on this new 'troller. Ignore those who will point a finger at your build, how you play is how you play, right? Nobody's business but your own :P -
Voodoo Doll is an interesting idea, am very much in favour of that. Also, Overfiend's mention of devil may cry was what I pictured immediately too, would certainly get me rolling a mastermind
-
Very good trial guys, made me cry happy tears
-
Ran it yesterday with 2kins, my bubbler, the rest were blasters and scrappers, and we were fine. So long as the team works together, we'll do great
-
Providing that my tech issues subside, and this Sister Psyche TF is done by then, Feist/LS are all yours spider, if you need them

Just under 4 hours. Excellent work guys. Super Smooth, super schmexy

There's been a tiny mixup re: those who were originaly interested, so we may have to do this first-come-first-serve sort of way.
@Xemulas
@Donna collective
@Missy
Maelwys
uzzi
nightmarer
(maybe angel)
hence the space is rather limited (no harm in running 2 team though, right?). I'll end my embarrassment with a feeble Merry Christmas guys -

LS is waiting at the contact in The Chantry. Providing tech issues don't cripple me (see tech issues in the forums), should be fine. Had a read through it on Paragonwiki, regardless, anyone who has done it before would be mighty appreciated

well, enjoy *that* adam. Hopefully won't have to call a reserve because you're held up by christmas festivities with the grand'rents :P

Right, well, my experience comes from a bubble defender, so I'm automatically inclined to focus on the bubbles. Friend runs a Grav/Kin so i'm ok with the grav set, and if you want some first hand hints, /t Kinetic 'ere he's ingame.
First, do you want to focus on holding/phasing/mob placement, or would you rather keep your team protected under your bubbles, and hold when the buff cycle is finished?
Propel being your only realy dmg output should be 6-slotted, i feel, as should your single target and mass hold. Phasing is up to you, most don't take it, but in the right situation, can turn a dire looking situation into your own hands.
On bubbles, i skipped a lot of the pool in place of the leadership pool, and tend to recommend skipping force bolt (the KB attack) and the repulsion field & bomb. The cage, 2 buffs and two PBAoE bubbles (including force bubble...sooooo amazing in the right situation) are enough to make the most of the bubble set, especially as a troller /2ry.
Wormhole i'm unsure of as to slots, but another situational power that, when used correctly, is very effective, and excellent when teaming with any sets that use a lot of AoEs and require the mobs to be close together (this is also aided with Force Bubble's ability to repel foes into and keep them in the corner)
/rambling rant...any specific questions that aren't anwered in that stupid ramble (e.g, would you like me to build something on mids for you to look at?) then just ask here or pm me ingame.
Stick with the set though. Is an amazing team set that I personally swoon over -
that would so very un-christmassy of them. Welcome aboard!

In what situations would you use Elude?
[/ QUOTE ]
It is your god power. When the odds are stacked firmly against you. When you kill a Nemesis boss/leut while the entire mob still resides. To tank AVs. In PvP. To charge through a map with /em dance6 on and not take a single hit.
/examples.
But seriously, if you've got a spare power going in your build, it is worth having -
what do you feel isnt working for you? Would recommend getting in touch with Kinetic, as his grav/ff is astounding, but I'd be interested to know where you're looking to improve, will try and give you my 2 cents worth
-
This isnt a guide, as such. I shalnt be using mids, nor will I be advising which set IOs will work best, specifics like are, when commented on, the things people will flag up and argue about. Consider this more a musing, a stream of thoughts from a player who has played this combo a good 700+ hours now, and has been through plenty of respecs.
Thus, on that note, I must first state that everything that follows is also opinion. Opinion from a player, who has played this beloved build to death. Everything should then be taken with a pinch of salt, and if you disagree with something, youre perfectly in your right too, plenty of changes to be had ☺
As a Dark Armour scrapper, it is one of the rarer, less seen scrappers, which I always find to be quite a shame. Regardless, Ive seen several ways to build one, and the 3 standouts are:
1)The PBAoE Machine
2)The Minion Ignorer
3)The PvP Surprise
Number.1 is the current build Ive settled on (for the time being at least), so Ill start with outlining that:
1) The PBAoE Machine
Essential Powers:
Death Shroud
The Lotus Drops
Cloak of Fear
Oppressive Gloom
Team Role:
This is a very independent scrapper, leaping headlong into mobs, and using all of the PBAoE in his arsenal to dispose of the mobs as best he can. As with all /DA scrappers, you will be relying on Dark Regeneration where /Regen relies on regen rate, and SR relies on +def. You cant take a sustained amount of damage, but slotted right, Dark Regeneration can have you back on full health from just 2 minions (thus one CAB turns into a Resurgence)
Why it works:
With the two minion mag mez PBAoEs, a decent PBAoE lethal attack (with some DoT and Def), a PBAoE negative energy Minor DoT, and a PBAoE heal, your heart is in the heart of the mob. Remain there, and youll be felling minions and leuts left right and centre. Youve got plenty of single target damage left to take down those pesky bosses too ☺
Some flaws:
If you dont hit Dark Regeneration early enough, or something gets through Obsidian Shield and youre detoggled, youre pretty much a helpless toddler. The concept comes at some risk, and if youre uncomfortable with casually hitting your self rez, its probably not the build for you.
Conclusion:
Excellent fun. Simply put, it brings a smile to my face every time. Its reckless, but its a playstyle Ive come to enjoy. That doesnt mean youre stuck in it like some rigid pattern, youre able to adapt easily through a mix of toggles and strategy- dont take the idea as an excuse to be a burden to your team-mates, just know where and when it works best, and spend the rest of your time being like the other run of the mill scrappers (, I tease)
2)The Minion Ignorer:
Essential Powers:
Cloak of Darkness
Cloak of Fear
Opressive Gloom
Divining Avalance
Team Role:
This plays primarily with single target damage in mind, building around the idea that with the minions feard and stunned, (and with the acc from CoF and +def from CoD, not bothered much by them again), you tackle the boss and leuts yourself, leaving the now crippled minions to your team mates. If you are solo, this doesnt matter too much, you can simply sweep the minions up once youre done slicing and dicing your way through the bosses and leuts.
Why it works:
The minion mag PBAoEs keep the minions off your back, a +def slotted Cloak of Darkness will add some much needed defence to cover your back, and Katanas single target damage is put to good use as you narrow in on the hardest critter in the mob. Be sure to stack the +def on divining avalanche, it grants a very welcome bonus to def, and its worth either putting it on auto, or running it after every power in your cycle to keep it 2 stacked.
Some Flaws:
Some would argue that is a rather ignorant build, and very unscrapper like, and Id tend to agree more than disagree. This is ideal when teaming with a team who are familiar with you implementing this strategy, as theyll know to clear up the minions. Theres nothing about this that should under perform, unless youre easily frustrated by the focus on Single Target Damage.
Conclusion:
A build I use to play myself, but admittedly grew tired of the single target focus. Its potentially great in teams, if used properly, and I rate it highly just make sure people know why most of the minions are wandering around the place, cowering in the corner and shouting for their mothers.
3) The PvP surprise (I am, In no way, a well versed PvPer, so please take these ideas and put them atop whatever you normally consider essential for a PvP scrapper)
Essential Powers:
Cloak of Fear
Dark Regeneration
Cloak of Darkness
General Musing:
Fear (and stun, if you choose to stack the two mez toggles) will be the bane of your opponents existence. Perhaps not crippling or match winning, but sometimes enough to give you an edge.
Presuming youve slotted for accuracy with Set IOs/Foccused acc, Dark Regeneration should never disappoint, but remember, it has to roll a hit, so it has a chance of failing, which will more than likely = your death.
The Self Rez is also handy in PvP as its Stun has an amazing mag (Almost AV mag, I think perhaps EB), a potential strategy in Zonal/Team PvP.
I think that about concludes my thoughts on the build. I hope theyve given you something to think about, whether thinking of rolling/respeccing your DA scrapper or merely interested in some build opinions. Thank you for taking the time to read all the way through -
Hoping to run this on boxing day, see how far we get, and we can easily run it over a few evenings (negotiable there and then, ofc). Currently got a few people interested (@Donna Collective, @Missy, a few others). So, If anyone is interested, please sign up here and/or pm me in game.

he spent an entire day on the test server trying out a synergy between a farming toon and a PvP toon, and thus settled for psionics. His farming seems to be just as smooth, and he's feeling safer in PvP zones now ;p
I did copy the entire thread into the SG forums though, so all of the much appreciated advice got through
