It's a scam! I guarantee more will show up in upcoming Super Boosters; "Only $9.99 a pop, suckas!"
["Support your game" my eye!] -
Quote:This commercial was airing in the US for a bit; caught me off guard when I first saw it.Rhyming slang just isn't used in the US(at least not in Massachusetts). It's a mystery as to its meaning. (I have learned Cockney rhyming slang was originally meant not to be understood)
Bollocks? I've learned what that means(not something you want to yell in public). The dog's bollocks? Somehow good.
Bugger? Apparently not nice, but don't know what it is. (I understand it just doesn't sound the same in an American accent--Bugger instead of Buggah)
Isn't bugger (as an adj.) a bit different than as a verb (ie. akin to 'rogering'); now LOLing 'Buck Rogers', 'Roger Rabbit' and 'Roger Moore'
Is 'rogering' right proper UK slang or is that a product of the Bond movies? -
Bollocks, now I'm gonna have to watch Austin Powers again.
[or House of Anubis... maybe Netflix has got some Benny Hill] -
Can the TT and Leadership versions of Vengeance be stacked on one another?
-
I went Cardiac - Endurance assists are great especially when coupled with Range helpers AND a Resistance boost.
Dreadnought Crab FTW! -
I use a reptilian for one of my Crab's costume slots; will post a pic later.
-
Diversity - how about experimenting with open power selection here (ie. PvP only toons that can be created by the PvE player when visiting the PvP Zones and accessed whenever PvP is accessed (zone and Arena) and that can be leveled up by playing in the PvP zones from a base level of X (probably the entry level for Bloody Bay))
Accessibility - Allowing AE to be used to create PvP scenarios (map, npcs and possibly goals); possibly putting a small AE outpost within each faction base.
Allowing for PvP only toons.
Assuming the availability of PvP only toons, normalizing the drop rate for PvP recipes and adding market access to the zones.
Adding PvP effects to ALL IO sets and doing away with the exclusivity of PvP set altogether. -

Good job team!
-
Reminds me of the Ritki mission map with the one dam (can't remember which mish it is though)...
-
I've noticed that when you log out of a location, after getting that location's Day Job, for another 21 days... you get the Veteran's version of that Day Job power (in addition to your Basic version).
Are there any other versions/levels of Day Job powers that exist? Are there Veteran DJ Accolades? Stacking? etc...
Also:
Praetorian Day Jobs? -

From the NCSoft Launcher Discussion:
Quote:Can run the launcher but not the game; when loading the launcher, I get this text:
Quote:Error Code: 3 (PatchPathNotFound):
There was no way found to patch from version '1.5.1.0' to version: '1.5.25.1'.
The patch servers are most likely in the process of being updated.
Please try again in a few minutes.
Waited a few minutes and tried again; getting the same error text.
When attempting to run the game from the launcher, it fails to load the game and brings me back to the launcher screen. [Both Live and Test (no Beta option)]
Problem Solved: Uninstalled all versions; then reinstalled new version. -

Quote:lol, I was thinking, "Skyraiders" when the snapshots first came out... they already have a sea-fortress in SH after all. [but until actual confirmation is made...]The Incarnate content is focused on Praetoria for now - Tyrant's invasion is the current main storyline, but the focus will shift later on.
EDIT: The I20 overview page is now up:
http://www.cityofheroes.com/news/gam..._overview.html
And it looks like the Floating Fortress belongs to the Sky Raiders and loyalists. -

IMO
We've seen the kind of tech that Praetoria possesses sends through portals... so I'm doubting if its Loyalist forces.
The fact that this thing even exists implies that its been skulking around for awhile (acquisition, construction and finished phases).
I'm doubting that something of this magnitude would be floating around unchecked in Praetoria (if it were Resistance forces) unless it came from outside 'city limits'.
This is 'dirty tech', stolen materials and unconventional methodology; who fits the bill? -
I'm wondering if the interior is not all instanced (like the tunnels/sewers on a smaller scale)?
Anyone care to approximate the size of this zone (compared against what's already available)?
You mean Canada Joe is actually going to talk to us now? Oh, wait... 'heroic' types... that's why he wasn't talking to any of us redsiders all this time. -
