saturday sounds good for me, as long as it's not too early it should be fine. I'll bring Rev ill/empath controller.

Some PB thoughts
If you got some questions after reading that then ask away Simply, I would start with and slot up Bright Nova and then Dwarf at 20 and then respec into a more triform in late 20's early 30's. -

Defiant 50's
There are a few ill/emp that have made it 50. Not quite the same amount as ill/kin though.
I think the thing I like about controllers is that you are using both your primary and secondary quite extensively. With tanks/scrappers/brutes you activate your toggels and then just activate/use a few powers during battle.
with the controller on the other hand there is always something to be done, it is hard to do everything but that is what makes it so much fun for me.
i have a fire/kin (only lvl 19 atm) now and that is busier than than the ill/emp (at least so far). -
don't expect 1 build to take you to 50. You will need to respec. I didn't find human form that viable in the lower levels so went from mainly nova to duo and then respec'd into tri in the 30's.
I wouldn't go for any of the ranged attacks on human form just stick to the melee attacts there.
Problem with the PB is that there are very many ways to make a good build and the only way you are truley going to find out which is best for you is by trying different builds/powers -

And if by EA you mean Energy Absorbtion, then I'm afraid that is in the ice primary. A fire tank with EA would be awesome

from what i remember flurry has a long animation, also air superiority has the -fly and kncokback which is sometimes useful.
hasten i find useful for when things get tough, it's always nice to be able to spam holds that little bit faster -
Air Superiority is class with containment, good later on as well.

my appraoch with my ill/emp was go for the controller powers 1st so you stop the team from needing the healing in the 1st place. The empathy heals were there just incase.
The power choices I made were all made with the strategy in mind, hence I never picked up res and only had 1 targeted heal etc. I would focus on the self buff's etc before the other buffs in the empathy set. but it all comes down to how you want to play.
edit: my plan upto 27, not I know anything about mind but hey ;-) and assuming you don't want/need stamina

I thought containment worked with power pool/epic powers and powers from your primary and secondary only not with inherent powers such as brawl.
-
With fire/ice can you easily do without Stamina, EA and consume should keep the end at healthy lvls?
-
I would personally say that taunt is necessary, I believe more members of the team die without it. If you actually want to protect your team as best as a tank can then get taunt.
It isn't that hard for your teammates to pull a person out of the agro range of mud pots, CE etc. I have when playing a squishey died and wondered why that tank didn't grab the agro off me only to find when I look at his powers he had no taunt.
Your teammates are not always able to run into mud pots etc and have the agro taken away. Many mobs will resort to long range rather than following and some mobs already around the tank will do AOE damage which will hurt/kill the squishey.
I suppose if you have no taunt you dont have to be so aware of what is happening with your team / watching the team health as you can do little about it without taking the mob surrounding you with you. You can then concentrate on hitting things -
was there smoke and stuff?

burn still works OK with the Ice patch but it is a little boring tbh. only at lvl 24 with my fire/ice tank and it goes something like: run into mob, drop ice patch, burn, hit the boss's and lt's, drop ice patch, burn ...... it will get better I hope as the lvl's and powers progress.
I think though with ice not doing much damage and burn being nerfed to what it is now it is a good team build. not like before the burn nerf where the rest of the team were just there to make the spawn bigger for you to kill ahh them were the days ;-)
the good old days -
How about 8pm on Monday, we can meet up at founders and go from there
-
sweet, i'll send a few tells and shout in coalition chat when i get on tonight and hopefully we can get something happening.

[/ QUOTE ]
probably a good idea.
just had a look at the list, didn't realise that there were so many -
u want people to start posting the additions then?
-
I am needing to do a respec tf for Revelation, I haven't done any so I think I will get the respec from any.
I can do the tf after 7pm UK time during the weekdays. If anyone is planing one then please let me know.
If you are interested in doing any of them then post here with which one you want to do, when you are available and we should hopefully be able to get something sorted. -

Spectral Wounds is working as designed. Part of the damage is "illusory" and doesn't count towards the double damage Controller ability.

that's about all i can find at the moment as to why SW doesn't do double damage with containment
