Quote:Right now Street Justice has no alternate animations, I would really like it to get this version of storm kick. I actually like the current storm kick in martial arts.ok watched the video..please tell me that eventually scrappers/tankers will be able to use the blaster storm kick over the current "animation". slow it down, speed it up, dont care, that animation is very good, and the current animation is very bad. making that a customization option would be a major win for MA.
-
PLEASE give Street Justice that Storm Kick animation as an alternate for Sweeping Cross! It is very close to the animation I begged for during beta.

Quote:To be fair then, what do you think the better options were? I followed all of the threads in question as they popped up on the NA boards and beta boards. Texas Justice covers it pretty well above even if it was in a sarcastic manner. You are welcome to feel how you do, and I and others are welcome to feel it is unreasonable. I am not holding it against you by any means. You are quite right I don't accept the answers and that is not solely down to M&G's, but that is me, I was asked a valid question and I gave a straight answer, If people don't like that, then there is not much I can do about it. I try to be as honest and truthful to myself as I can be and treat other people with the same yardstick, sometimes people don't like the answers I give but I'm afraid they are as valid as the next man's and I won't sugar coat for no-one.

Quote:All of this was explained over and over. If you didn't accept the answers given the first time, I doubt you will except them a second time. I personally have never been to a M&G because all of them have required a 3-6 hour flight for me. So this is not the land of Dev parties some think it is. :/We used to have Eu community mods that used to hold meet and greets and summits within the EU, since the likes of Bridger and Rockjaw have gone, the only meet and greets with the Eu are player organised only.
Meet and greets are big part of community relation's and cannot be dismissed, especially now when costume parts are being chosen at these events, I speak for myself when I feel excluded and bit distant from the community (hence why I tend to stick to my own server and not venture out) when this sort of thing happens. Having the choice later on at what you want them to look like is a bit of a P-Take when you haven't been allowed to determine what you want in the first place.
Also I have made various grievance reports regarding the global name change, and was clearly subjected to act of childishness to which since Freedom went live, I am still waiting for a response (I'm not holding my breath any longer). -

Quote:Remember when they were Winter Lord babies, then AE babies, or asking for a bridge in PI? Yeah it is the same stuff, there is good and bad in everything. I agree with Claws, except I think it is funny when they are telling me how to play the game.Couldn't agree with you more Claws but then its the same sort of problem we have dealt with for years when a new player is PLed and doesn't have a clue.
Personally I do two mids builds for every toon I make. I make a leveling build with SOs that covers 1-47, and then an IO build fro 47+. I may be weird though. -
Quote:I loved Kingdom Come, but I have over 30 years of comic lore stored in my head. I am not sure how it would read to someone brand new to comics. BlackSun17 and I were actually discussing that in chat last night.I couldn't agree more. In fact I recommended it in the original thread with pics!

As for Spawn, the first 100 issues were really good, but it fell off a cliff after that I think. Wetworks was really good if you can find those. To step away from super heroes a bit the Crimson books were really really good. Also a series that I think really went under the radar was California Out There.

I went through an Indi phase in the 90's. Not sure I am proud of it, but I was SURE not alone in it. -
Quote:Different experience then. When I was going through radiation treatment I got multiple PMs from multiple Paragon staff members checking my status, and wishing me well. All I ever got from Cryptic was BS replies that ended up being...BS. YMMV, and it seems it does.I was treated better before paragon studios took over this game, that's one example, without the need to mention other games.
I know the EU community is a bit put out about some of the sales decisions, the merger of the servers, and the ability to maintain a separate EU staff, but that is the price of running a smaller company. I hate that for you guys, I really do. It however does not change the level of communication and respect the community managers and staff of Paragon give us. The weekly webcasts alone put them above any other MMO I can think of.
Before I am accused of being a Dev lackey, I call a spade a spade. When the Devs do something I object to, I am very clear about it. They are human and screw up, even in their screw ups they are better than the rest. -
Quote:I would love to know which games. I say this because EVERY other MMO I have played not only had a crappy community team, but in most cases a crappy community. You are welcome to PM me and I will take a look at their boards. No snark here, I am serious Paragon has the best community team I have ever seen.I have been treated better by community teams and devs in other games,
As for i13, the person most responsible for that mess is gone. Shoot, click IH still sucks too, and I am constantly told to let that go. -
Staff needs a lot more than that. Some may ask how many models it can really have, I would say take a look at Phantasy Star Online to get an idea. There were some great staff models in that game.

Justice League New Frontier is one of the best books I have ever read. I would agree with another poster that Batman Hush was amazing also.
The Superman/Batman books are also great. Start with Public Enemies, then move to Super girl. Really good stuff. -
To add to this there is a Roman sword unlock (a decorative gladius) that is only available on BS, and should be ported to DB also.
-
Meh, at this point if it happens, then it happens. I had high hopes for the space pirate sash, but it is still not quite there.
As for the topic of this thread, I see where everyone is coming from. I personally like where most of the costume development has been going. Some excites me more than others, but on a whole I am happy. -
I agree with this. I find myself visiting the boards even when I am not posting or playing. The Dev and Community team here is really the best around.
-
I think what the community REALLY wants is the Kheldian sash.
-
I was too, so I took a long break. Now I am merely frustrated at the lack of those things.
-
I know how at least one dev feels about them. I don't think we will ever see them go away, but I don't think we will see any more of the old style crashes added to the game. I personally think they were badly designed from the start, and I skip them in most cases. I would have rather have seen a mechanic like the old q-flight on a PB, for those who do not remember it was an ever increasing end cost the longer it was on.
-
I run the DFB from 1-20 on every new character. Why? Because I have been playing for over 7 years and have done the 1-20 game (yes even the "new"one) far too many times. For me the game comes alive at level 20, before that it seemed like a grind. Yeah, I like the DFB and what it offers.
-
Now that this can be done, I personally would pay for alternate animations for some pool powers. Lightening for hasten instead of fire, I would pay for that.
In general I have no issue with paying for alternate power animations at all. -
I just want to say thank you, thank you very much.
-
I would like to point it would still be awesome if males got a sash. The space pirate sash in super pack 2 is nice, but it is still hard to fit it with a martial arts theme. Just saying, no plans to harp over it as in the past.

This is truly awesome news! This with the some of the upcoming powers is enough to get me excited about the game again.
