Not sure if this is just an issue with so many flocking to test to see the halloween event or an actual bug but have been experiencing the following

When using Ouroboros portal on finishing zoning my character becomes stuck. I can not move, and typing /stuck /synch etc does nothing. I can see chat going on around me and others are moving around fine. I was able to get invite to a team but was unable to be tped by teammate the power activated but I didnt recieve prompt to accept.

After a few mintes I am booted from the server and have to verify files before logging in

any word yet when we will be having this redo of double xp weekend?

Totally agree. And when I go to Hero Con this year I will again ask the question as to why East Coast Players get no love

As the loudmouth who actually asked the question as to why we didnt get any representation from NC/paragon I still ask the question. Why did we get info on 16 and rogue handed to us by a fellow panel goer who had read it on the forums after it announced on the forums and presumalby Pax? It would have been nice to have someone there who was willing to talk to us and maybe offer us something other than Guild Wars. Other MMO games that were there for panels had reps there to meet with gamers and show their appreciation to their player base.

Yes I know Dragon Con isnt a gamers Con and yes it is pricey to come out to the east coast, but somehow I think that if they really cared to hear from their East Coast players they would be there. Of course I will be asking the same question at Hero Con since paying to fly myself across the country seems to be the only way to get any love as an east coast player.

I have two as well and its very helpful in a variety of ways from transfers, assists in missions and inviting toons to the sg myself and other sg members. Sometimes when busy and someone needs something I will use my second account to help them out with a quick transfer or the like. Not to mention all the other slots it opened up for me to play with

Maybe its just me but I find no difficulty finding teams red or blue side. I belong to my servers global channels and there is always something forming and a few people up to joining a team for missions or task forces. 1 or two people joining me is a great start and we pick up people as we go along.

I got tired of soloing after my first few months playing and started forming my own teams and never looked back. Its all about trial and error and communicating. I ask my teammates their opinions and if they have anything else they'd rather do. More often than not people are just content to go with the flow as long as there is xp involved and not too many team wipes.

Its all about being proactive. Once you start and people like the grouping experience you will get friend requests and people will be looking for you when they log in and asking to join whatever you got going on

When I first got on yesterday I didn’t think it was so impressive. All the hype and I saw nothing to get me excited. I went to RWZ and it hadn’t changed much. Love all the new badges though. Then started doing some mish and started to warm up to it. The new maps are fabu and I’m liking the new look of the Rikti.

That said the lag is horrid. I know it’s not my machine as it was only built in April with high end graphics because of COH and I wanted to make sure I didn’t have a problem playing. In fact for a whole team and majority of the server to be complaining about the same problem it’s either 1) a new devastating power of the Rikti or 2) something wrong with the game. Otherwise everyone on victory server around 1030-1100 last night needs to get a new computer or graphics card ASAP and how likely is that?

It wasn’t bad in the RWZ or on mission maps but during the invasion event in skyway and later steel it was like standing still. Thankfully my emp had healing aura on auto cause that was about all she could do.

I see a lot of complaints about the redname “spam” but I have to say in the grand scheme of things its not bad at all. It takes a second to look at it and ignore it and it doesn’t interfere with convos at all. I play with a chatty group with convos going on two different global channels, coalition, SG and friends channels not to mention private messages and not once did the announcements interfere with keeping up with our convos. (the alternative would be awful pop up windows that are so much worse)

I loved that broadcast was full of heroes cooperating and coordinating to fight a common enemy rather than just a bunch of people bickering constantly. Of course there are those who are still looking to bicker cause last night someone was complaining about people using broadcast to communicate between teams (whatever!)

In all honesty I think the lag will get better as the excitement of a new release dies down and 50 million people aren’t all trying to play at once. Of course that will make invasions harder when there are less to fight them off but hey we love a challenge don’t we?
