I understand your sadness.
A niche i was playing with a while back did the same thing to me (Efficacy Addapters End/End). The price bottomed out leaving me with roughly 100 recipes and a solid amount listed at more than triple the new going rate.
I played the waiting game. The waiting game worked.. though it was a couple of months!
Great having so many alts!! -
Rats!
I guess Labor Day screwed up my sense of time. For some reason i thought that the fire rad goodness night was tonight; and I was mid task force when hyper sent me a tell asking if i was going to make it.
Sorry that I missed out on an always fun goodness night -
I'm game for a second night of Freedom fire rad goodness!
Friday and Saturday nights would not work well for me though. Actually, if the starting time was bumped up to 8pm EST that would help out a lot as well.
As for this past Monday of Goodness (forgot the screen shots as my brain went into sleep mode):
The team was: (forgive me on all spelling errors please!)
Zero Decay
Warmly Yours
Halla Peno
Greased Wheels
Wild West Pest
We ended up running a Posi #1 at +0/8. We ran into a few hiccups along the way, including a solid team wipe on the last mission.
I had to disappear for the night and could not join the group in the second posi (as did Pest i believe). Sorry to hear that the second one chewed you all up. -

As far as I know, teh project is still alive and well. I have not been listing everything that i have crafted/rolled here on the forums lately (though that would help i suppose!)
Just today
(Crafted)
Level 25 - Positron's Blast: Accuracy/Damage
Level 25 - Adjusted Targetting: To Hit Buff/Recharge
a few others but i forget which ones.. red fortunes maybe?
As far as tip missions, im game.. though they would need to be between 5-9pm EST during the week and a lot more flexible most weekends -
I will send you an in-game email when i get home from work.
I have an Armageddon: Damage, and an Unbreakable Constraint: Recharge/Accuracy (crafted) that I am willing to trade.
I was looking at your Enzymes. Are they all level 50 or any 52s or 53s snuck in the mix?

Yep it looks like the market is down yet again... grrr.

Quote:The subject of which rolls to make has been beaten like it stole something! Level 10-14 bronze rolls are complete hit or miss. Either you will get something that you can sell, or it will be complete trash (vendor or delete it). I like the 35-39 rolls, as I make inf on about 1/3 of the 20 I roll on average.Okay. I guess I misunderstood the recipe descriptions; I got the impression that the bronze rolls were pretty much all weak recipes. I'm 31 now, and I have a stack of tickets, although not a big one. Should I just start doing recipe rolls? If so, what level/type?
The best bet is to test the waters. By that I mean look at the market for the value of level 31 IOs. They might not be moving as fast as level 30 or 33. I recommend that unless you are approaching the ticket cap that you dont spend them until you are al level 33. I you are getting anxious, by all means make a bunch of rolls. You can always get more tickets! (i recently did this with one of my new toons (but made two gold rolls at level 20 and was very pleased with the result)).
With all that being said, I say take a chance! clear out your recipes that you are holding and max out on the level 30-34 recipes. The worst thing that will happen is you will get nothing and have to start over (which for bronze rolls isnt as bad). but you might get somethign tastey!
let us know how it turns out -
I must admit that I paniced a little when i logged on to three different toons and saw nothing but empty slots where a bunch of goodies were saved up!
I had fears that my account got hacked! -
Hiya Seebs!
It seems that you have been blasted with tons of great advice here on how to generate inf. One thing that you should not lose sight on is what you want to get out of this game. Do not give up on teaming with others simply because you can get all the drops!
Also keep in mind "working/playing" the market is very simple (for those of us who have figured out how to do it!!). When starting out it can seem as difficult as teaching a rock how to ride a bicycle.
Start small! by small i mean low priced items. That and keep communicating on this forum! The knowledge here is almost too good to be true.
Feel free to send me a tell whenever you wish, for questions, teams, etc
@Epoxy Man is my global
Remember, enjoy the game! Afterall, isn't that why we play it? -

Thank you thank you thank you, for clearing that up. I guess i can leave my (well some of it) inf liquid for now

Quote:So not only are they planning on merging the Black market and Wents, we are going to be down to ONE wallet? Great Scott! So, amidst all the (justifiable) excitement about the upcoming market merger one fairly major related change has mostly skimmed along under the radar.
((snip))
For us in-the-know types, this is more a QOL change than anything as players have always found ways around silly systemic limitations on their inf.
. Well, there are no more sugar daddies. Your entire account shares the same inf pool ....it's positively Socialist!
I'm wondering if, once all this sinks in, a new generation of 'casual gamers' will be less hostile and conspiracy minded about the market. Any thoughts?
I've got a TON of influence and Infamy to hide now so it isnt vaporized at the 2 billion ceiling. -
Quote:I'd love an invite to that channel! my global is @Epoxy ManSSSSHHHHH do not tell them are secret. Actually I ran the Hami in hive 2, and @Leandro is not on that much but if you like send me a tell and I can invite you to the Hami channel Essence of the Earth. 51 minutes in hive 2 baby
Would love to play around in the jello with you all! -
Many ways to make inf on the market. Since you mentioned a 5 million+ profit, look at the big ticket items: purples, LoTG's, Kinetic Combats, Numina's..
or take a sneakier approach: Look at the sets that you would like to have on your toon (doesnt really matter which one) then place low bids (in sets of 10) on them. then SLOWLY place them on the market. Having loads of IO's for sale will drive the bids down. An example: bid 55,559 inf on level 50 Doctored Wounds Recharge (a stack of ten of them) then log of, or go 'arrest" some bad guys. if/when that order is filled, craft them and list them. -
Quote:I JUST got home.. so much for my hope for "almost making it". I actually used the words "fire rad night" and "important" (she didnt buy it). That went over like a fart in church. Yet I survived!! (though i still missed the fire/rad goodness).Okay, was REALLY late getting back from Origins today.
Got back on-time for Fire/Rads, but was VERY burnt out (6 days into a 4 day con? Yeah!)
Anyhoo, we had 9 people show for Fire/Rads tonight. Rather than kick one of them to the curb, I opted to sit out of the buttkickery tonight and catch up on my sleep.
Thanks for being understanding guys. And lemme know how it went!
Hopefully next week I will be in town and able to make it!
Until then, Nuke 'em til they glow, then complain that your target was dead before you could attack them!!!
-Zero -
It's going to be close for me making it tonight! Try to stall a little bit if you can i've got zero logged off on the hill!
Hope to see you in two hours -
My last ten rolls have netted complete crap, both red and blue side.
Hopefully that will count to the RNG as "paying my dues" and i'll get some tastey ones! LOL -
Rats!
I was on earlier last night, then logged to quick get some food and fell asleep; missing the fire rad goodness!
Glad everyone had a blast! I'll be there next week with Zero for certain! -
A very successful night of fire/rad goodness!! (we did have 12 fire/rads show up!!)
First, i shall apologize to the Citadel team (aka "Team 2"). I am a little out of practice in leading a team and hope that everyone had fun.
Second, I can't find the screen shots! I thought there was a folder where they went, the search will continue! Until then I'll attempt to give a run down on the "goodness!"
We started off in Talos (with both teams):
Zero Decay (me)
Rubeus
Greased Wheels (Mid-level crisis rocks!!)
Scorched Remains
Radiant Hestia
Therm O'Dynamic
Main-Sequence
with the intention of running a Sister Psyche. That plan was quickly scrapped since there were level issues; so we decided on running a Citadel Task Force instead!
Whoops!
We all needed to be level 25+. So the night started off with a quick "practice" run for the fire/rad squad in order to get everyone to the min level! (that took longer than i predicted, so we got a much later start)
We finally got rolling close to 9pm CST (dangerously close to my self imposed sleepy time, but this is fire/rad night! everyone loves to work with less sleep, right?)
The task force took 2 hours and 3 minutes with a few deaths sprinkled in as well as a DC or two.
((Hyper, it was funny to read that you called me Epoxy Man! He's my first toon (Earth/Rad) though he's been collecting dust lately))
It was a fun night, couldnt have done it without the great job organizing things here on this end. Hyper, you are the bomb! (sort of neutron bomb on Monday nights at least!!)
Next Monday might be tough for me to make. It depends on when I get back into town. I will gladly accept the mantle of leading a team in the future!
((Editted to add))
Almost forgot: I can go a long time without seeing another one of those Council maps!
