That's awesome, and I agree with the Banner bit at the end.

Bagpipes are sometimes too difficult for the young'ins to inflate properly. Now, an accordion on the other hand, that can be annoying very easily.

As a complete side note, the place where we are getting married (and were hoping to have the reception) told us that we couldn't have amplified music because it would annoy the neighbors. But when we asked what types of music we could have, we were told that we could have any sort of string music, pianos, or bagpipes. I was so shocked that amplified music annoyed the neighbors, but we could have a whole bagpipe regiment and that was fine.

  4. Paragon Rewards points are like the scoring system of QI: nobody understands them, and the one guy who does is bat-sh^t crazy.

Yup, not saying I would, but I could see somebody doing it, and I'm betting that the GMs would generic for it.
  6. You don't need to run those contacts. You can street sweep to level 5 (easy enough to do), and then run to King's Row. You'll get introduced to a Detective, and then you do scanner missions and a safeguard mission, and BAM! You get a contact. This contact will keep introducing you to new ones.

    Still Viable?

IO = Invention (Origin) enhancement. They are special enhancements that you don't outlevel like most you will come across.

    Ice Control

If it were me, I'd do one or all of the following:

    1) Make taking and using both Frostbite and Ice Patch do something. Right now, Frostbite negates most of the benefit of Ice Patch. With how containment works, this makes the Controller either sacrifice some potential AoE damage or control.

    2) Give Shiver some sort of secondary hard control effect that has a chance of occurring.

    3) Increase the confuse duration and/or chance to occur in Arctic Air.

I think that doing any of those things would help it out, and if you did this, then you could remove the damage from Flash Freeze because you won't need the trivial amount that it does. If you don't want it to stack with itself so that the Controller can sleep bosses, then flag it not to stack. Having it do damage really messes with stuff, especially Interface damage procs.

Add to that the fact that damage multiplies the Taunt effect, and slotting for Damage if you want to hold aggro is your best bet.

Using that name with zombies is possibly going to get you generic'd anyways. I can definitely see somebody petitioning that.

No, it is very much out of date. I second the suggestion to look through the Tanker forums if that is what you're looking for.

Ah, wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the clarification.

    Bootleg Edition

    1) How do you know it's unused, if it's some sort of Bootlegged copy?

    2) If it's bootlegged, I wouldn't be advertising that fact on the official forums.

    3) If it does work, you might get some benefit from it, but without knowing what version it is, it's tough to say what you'd get.
  15. I would love for them to revisit the Respec system to allow for things like that. Sometimes, you just want to change a single power out, or a few powers (like an ancillary pool). I would rather that they rework the system and allow it to be used for free, rather than having players spend money for it.

What the heck are you even trying to say here? I don't think you spelled a single word correctly that you meant to, except for "to". This is the kind of thing we're talking about.
  17. Also as an FYI for anyone looking for an IO'd out Ice/Ice Tanker build, I just posted one yesterday in GooglyMoogly's thread in the Tanker forum.

(Despite how well he flies in the FB video.)
Well, with my wedding in October, and Honeymoon in November (then the holidays in Nov and Dec), I'd vote for early next year as well. Maybe end of January?

    There ya go.
  20. Congrats, Turg! Hope everyone is doing well!

Despite Traegus' crotchety-old-man comments, I think we'd love to have mini-Turg at the next get-together. And speaking of which, when are we doing one of those again?
  21. Okay, did a quick little mock-up for you until we get some feedback from you on any specific direction. This build is over the soft-cap for S/L/E/NE even before Energy Absorption or the +3% Def IO. While this build will be tough to take down, you are missing a few things, such as a good ST attack chain until you pick up Gloom at 41.

I would highly recommend taking this build as a high-level respec build, and while leveling up, pick up Ice Sword early as well, and push back everything from Chilling Embrace on until you've gotten up in level a bit. If you're intending to team a lot, you might be fine without it, but soloing will be fairly slow without it.

  22. Okay, was away for the weekend, so kinda figured that someone else would post a build here, but now that I have returned, I can certainly work one up for you. Are there any other restrictions that you have? Certain pool powers that you want or don't want? Any specific goals besides being a beast?
  23. What kind of budget are you looking at having for it?
  24. Honestly, I think it's time this thread died. We're not going to get anywhere, anyways, so it might be time for all sides to pack it in and move on.
