Odd, I notice just the opposite. Salvage and high level recipe drops provide so much inf, there's no reason to get out of SG mode. Especially with non-set IO enhancers being so cheap on the black market.

The consignment house one doesn't have a name. However, if you increase/decrase the size of the health window, the consignment house window will increase/decrease with it. (And so will the various little message boxes.)

I haven't tried the vault window.

I'm also wondering where all these switches can be found. I've been thinking of expanding my demolauncher to also launch the game with whatever switches you like. (Though it would be a LOT better if the switches were added to the Updater itself, IMHO.)

Notice that the "0 4" at the start of each line is the same as it was before. That's important. You should have 0's in your demo, too, but the 4 will likely be a different number. Be sure to keep the same number that's in your demo, not the 4. (That's the ID number the game uses to keep track of what's happening to whom.)

&lt;shrug&gt; If you've already tried playing the game in safe mode and cleaned up your system then that's about all you can do. If that isn't working, then you need a video card. If you can't afford one then you need to do some extra part-time work or you need another game.

Rats! I didn't list Support as folks I would want to see but, now that I think about it, that would be great! We could play "Show the QA guys your bug"! If you add something to the Known Issues list, you get a little gold star fake-tattoo. If it's a problem with your PC, you can pay the QA guy $50/hr to fix it for you! (Cruicial will be one of those 3rd Party Vendors, and they will be right there with a whole sack full of memory sticks.) Most profitable con evah!

Well you've got me stumped, JayboH. Do you have any other video cards around that can play CoH even a little bit? Just enough to get in and open a 2D window to see if it crashes?

Well, I'm lost. I had an X800 XT before this new computer and it worked great. Couldn't do top of the line graphics but it could do pretty well.

If it isn't working under Vista, I would have to guess it's some sort of driver problem. Sheeesh, it's May, they are still having driver problems??

But are you really?

If, when you run the game, you are asked for the admin password, then you have to do a bit more to get any of that compatibility working. Right click on the shortcut, go to the compatibility tab, and click "show setttings for all users" at the bottom. Enter your admin password. NOW check the boxes you want to use and OK your way out.

(Apologies if you've already done this and told me so.)
