All the stuff in I11 is forever. (Not like the Rikti raids, which became very rare after a few weeks.)
And now.... Issue 11.1! -
Mutter mutter ... custom weapons not showing up in demos ... mutter mutter.....
Something I did find out around Halloween on Test... Corralax (sp?) look pretty sweet with custom claws.
For those of you with dual blades, please be careful with them! Those things are sharp!! -
The thing I'll be using it for is to sync up my little 'accolade progress' spreadsheet with reality, then syncing my Mid's Hero Desiger builds with reality.

Unless she gets bored waiting for him to turn around, in which case she'll just kill him.

Another thing would be that the sword is bigger than the supposed Excalibur that is on her belt. But oh well! It's a magic!
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, that's always bugged me. That sword on her belt is mighty tiny. Excalibur!? Sting maybe, but Excalibur!?!?
Oh well. A wizard did it, I'm sure. -

How about a dwarf female.

And walk right into the beard/no-beard controversy? Are you mad?
OK, sane stuff then. How about the "Speak 'friend' and enter" scene just as the doors are opening? Take it from the point of view out in the lake, with just a subtle hint of the monster starting to rise up. -
I'm getting this scene in my head of a Balrog and Infernal in a life-or-death struggle deep in a mountain. Just as Infernal is about to land the killing blow, some wizard pops in and kills it with a magic missle. "KS! ;P!! 0 k3wl! R3sp3k reh c p! I g0nna r3sp3k 2 wh1te w1z4d!" I expect stuff like this happens all the time in LotR Online, so you can justify it, right?

Juggernaut's powers don't turn off sometimes when he zones. Wolverine's powers don't expire after 24 hours of hero'ing. Plus, having a comic hero's powers vanish on him unexpectedly raises comic sales while having player's powers expire on them unexpectedly just raises hell.

Very nice, and standing near Miss Liberty for some extra lore ummph!
-
Debt is pretty easy to get. You can hit the debt cap in just a few minutes in high level zones. I'm sure the Storm Palace will be happy to meet all your debt need in a timely fashion.
[ QUOTE ]
Organize some chaos events and generally have some fun, knowing that any debt you have will disappear on Dec. 10th!
[/ QUOTE ]
Just to be really clear - that means your debt is going to get wiped over the maintenance run on the morning of Dec 10th, right? Go crazy on Sunday the 9th, not on Monday the 10th. -
I've seen that green ship thing, too.
A few more....
For awhile, the grass in Firebase Zulu seemed to reflect the sun, like water should do. Only there is no sun out there.
Scirocco finally got tired of this guy.
And, of course, who can forget those nutty 5th Column Mechmen?
For a short while, the fog cleared in not-so-dark Astoria.
Terra, you're not fooling anyone with that disguise. (OK, so I cheated on this one. ) -
It's a little known fact that it can also be used as a projectile weapon, as my Warshade discovered when Nemesis ran out of ammo. I guess that's why the bottom of the staff is so sharp.
<OK, actually it's an old bug that allowed the weapon to still be 'held' after changing to Nova form.> -

So here is my hope. The new merger makes it so they have a buck or two to drop on advertising.
[/ QUOTE ]
And, of course, some high quality demo technology would make those advertisments easier! <hint hint> -
Wo... <ahem> Amazing. Just amazing. I figured Cryptic would hold on to that IP for the next decade.
Well, Cryptic gets a nice lump sum to pump their MUO. NCSoft gets a game that's been holding its own against WoW for years.
So I take it there's some sort of license deal for the "Cryptic AR" package? -

Bite your suburbian tongue - all that earth shaking is good for the creative juices.
[/ QUOTE ]
All that shaking is good for making you bite your tongue! (Ahh, so that's how suburb is spelled - knew it looked funny.)
Come on, you Californians and Texans get all the fun stuff and about all we got is AMC movie theatres. Didn't you pay attention when Sesami Streat was on? Share already!! California owes us for that whole Disney thing anyway. -
Now see, earthquakes, volcanoes, mudslides, hurricanes - wouldn't it be best if Cryptic and NCSoft moved their offices to Kansas City? Tornadoes rarely surprise - just go down and play the Playstation for an hour. Easy peesy. And $200k will buy you a heck of a house. (That's BUY, not act as a 20% down payment.)
-
Maybe the Patron powers are a bit weak, but the Patron story arcs... wow!
-
[ QUOTE ]
Maybe last night's earthquake was nature's way of saying "welcome back, LH."
[/ QUOTE ]
Nah, I think it was more of nature's way of saying "Dude, you're living on a faultline, you would be much better off moving your profitable gaming business to the Kansas City suberbs." -

PS... don't click that link unless you are looking for teen rated smack talkery!
[/ QUOTE ]
Does that mean those younger than teenage should beware or those older than teenage should beware?
Happy anniversary! -
ROFL!!! The catgirl beta joke at the end was great!
Lots of fine art, good advice regarding Halloween, and pointing out the Shadow Shard - very good issue, folks! -
[ QUOTE ]
As for the original entrance, I vote for a mission with a girl, a mystical ancestral pendant made from a Rare Red Rock, and a teleport demo gone wrong.
[/ QUOTE ]
I would rather take an inflatable raft over a huge waterfall, fight some bug-eyed lizard men with crossbows, then mess around with some crystals in a pylon. (That's pylon, not skylon, we don't touch the skylons!)
Anyway, with the Flashback system done, I wonder if we're going to see some other old wishes coming to light? Like an arch-enemey? -
Sounds good to me. Right now there's no place to put a general topic that affects both sides.
[ QUOTE ]
...and Ex certainly doesn't carry a purse.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh? Then... who's purse IS it??
Zloth steals somebody's tin hat and puts it on -
Split keyboard! See, this Positron guy really knows what he's doing!
-
Now you've rednamed it!
Theoretically, yes, I like PvP. What I don't really like is the matchups. There are a lot of people out there with specific PvP builds that are covered in Hami-Os. Fighting them is no fun at all. However, if I'm up against another PvE build, it can be VERY fun!
To make an analogy - I like playing a little flag football now and again. I don't have any fun, though, when you drop pro football players onto the field complete with full pads and helmet.
