    Hmmph....that's...wierd.
    I'm sure I dont have Unabashed on my Crab Spider, and I DO have the RWZ in my VG.
    *shrug* I could see WHY it isn't included, though.
  2. Certainly /signed
    Nothing saps the Fun more than a contact in FF that sends you ALL over the shop, and refuses to give you a number to call for about 5 missions.

    Tbh, they should give you the number after 1 mission.
    Why? Well, it makes sense, if you are conducting an investigation/pulling off a crime with someone, to be in decent contact, right? So, after the contactee has proved they can get out of a mess alive (first mission) they are then worth working with for the longer haul.
    And, voila. Solve one big gripe with minimum of fuss.

    He says...

  3. An image says a thousand words. Ones I spend more productively elsewhere.

    Un-true. My Crab Spider and my Tanker have never ship-raided, yet both earned all the SG teleporter beacons.
  5. RWZ does.
    Cimerora I can see why they don't add it in, as it has a specific background to it. It is also located in the last level locked place in the game. Wether I agree with that or not makes no odds; thats the way it is.
  6. Hmm, I was avoiding travel powers except for adding in Hasten later on, because you can get around bith Siphon Speed and Inertial reduction, surely? They come insta-perma (well, so long as you can tag one mob, for SS)

    May just need to juggle stuff around a bit. And see how I find playing him. Thanks much for the advice though =] much appreciated
  7. There was a case of the hill in Talos (I think) losing its smoothing, until people said something, and then (I think) WarWitch battered it back into obedience. *shrug*
  8. Is it just me, or are the caves in Mercy Island, pretty much every single map that has Snakes on it, lacking a LOT of smoothing? The ground sometimes goes square, as do a lot of the rocks on the cieling and walls.
    Running at full graphics with everything cranked up so...is it just a tad broken?

    Examples;

    Square roof;

    Square floor;

    Fif, GG is just guessing. We don't know; none of us do.
    I know it's annoying (And you're in before me, you g*t! ¬¬ ) So relax. Patience. Take it out on the mobs in game, its something they are good for

    No, it's not

    I'd guess that it was meant to be 'No, no they're not', which, even so; We don't know.

    I wish we did. So does most everyone else. Gee, life is a right female-dog at times, isn't it?

    I try not to nit-pick, but;

    How do you know this? Dual Pistols while, yes, 'just another ranged set', does have more to it than that, and the only things we know for sure are the ammo types, ammo changing, and looking cool.
    Demons we know even less about, except that (Maybe), the whip means it's more a melee centric MM set?

    Also, we dont know if they have new ATs planned or not. They might, for all we know (or dont, more importantly). And Praetoria itself is a whole new load of stuff to do, I'd guess.

    Let us build the ultimate campaign to bring attention to just how awesome this game is!
    Vidoes! Drawings! Musics! Stuff!

    That'd be epic, methinks
  14. True that. All said, though, it's pretty easy to end crash a mob with that layout. And I mean 227.7% end drain, not counting in -recovery

    I think, unless anyone can point out some really glaring error I'm ignorant of, or something thats just a bit easier to pull off, +dam and +recharge would be good?
    Since I can, if accuracty is kind, get a Thunderous Blast outta that that averages about 889.1 damage. And thats just the vanilla IO build I have laid out.

    I think mainly I need to know if I'm under or overslotting anything really badly? Still not quite got the hang of all Mids tricks.

    Heh, I won't pretend that that pic is anything other than a bit sketchy. I just wanted to get a rough idea of something more interesting for the Outcasts.

    Will try and rough up some more decent stuff soon, once the Uni timetable has settled down

    So, yeah, took me a while to get *anything* done but, at long last, I'm finally in a position to start getting art suff up and running.

    So, I'll start with something basic. Outcast Re-design, first page. Colouring was fairly basic and all, pencil sketch gone over with black ink. Coloured in PS CS4.

    More to come, although when I have no idea >_>

    Damn that gold...one second! One accursed second! D=
  21. Just made a new Corr, and while I'm happy with the power layout, I have no idea what to slot him with.
    This is a mainly PvE build, but even then Im still a bit lost as to what to aim for. Any sort of defence seems a bit hard to come by, so should I aim for damage and recharge? That way I can probably floor mobs endurance before getting flattened. Heh.

    Back in the Game

    Mercy Island was never the best place to be, and doubly so in winter. Even the snakes looked half starved during the cold months, and were more sluggish than usual.
    By midday, however, the sun had finalyl broken through the murk, and the bigger specimens were out and about, looking for something to sink their fangs into.
    "Sssurprise!"

    There was a sharp clank. The snake, one of the larger ones people called 'Mambas', slowly crossed it's eyes, trying to stare down it's own nose. Whatever it had just bit into was certainly not human...
    The gauntlet hummed, buzzed, then shrieked, sending a massive jolt through the latched on snake. It's owner pulled the stunned animal in closer.
    "You got that right. Surprise," it said quietly, before jabbing the other gauntlet into the creatures forehead with the sound of a lightning bolt striking a chimney.

    The man leaned back against the wall, cupping his pipe against the wind that tugged at his long jacket. The flaring tobacco highlighted his white hair, and the scar that had taken out his right eye.
    Breaking the drama of the imposing figure, a newspaper hit him in the face.
    With a sigh, the man peeled it off, turning his back to the wind and sitting down on the snakes un-marred corpse.

    In what is probably shocking news to vendors of cheap spirits, ladies of loose morals, and of course not forgetting angry mobsters whose name starts with the letter 'M' we at the Informer have the pleasure to report that one of the Rogue Isles most colorful personalities has finally decided to get off his backside and get back to work. Tiger-striped pants wearing monster hunter for hire Big Game has seemingly been out of action in the Rogue Isles and east coast US for many months now, but exploded back on to the scene last night during a truly epic battle with one of the gigantic snow monsters that's been terrorising the Isles for the last couple of weeks...

    "Big Game...?" the man mused, tapping the ash out of his pipe. "Well, well, well...seems like I either got company, or competition..."
    "Hey! What're you doing around here?"

    He looked up, smirking faintly as the pair of RIPs loomed over him.
    "Just mindin' my business, boys."
    The two looked like they were going ro try and roll him anyway. Ah well...
    They hit the wall as a twitching pair, arcs of lightning dancing a jig on their synapses.
    "Gnn! W...who areynn! Y-you?" one managed to stutter, as the man loomed over him.
    The old hunter smiled, tapping out his pipe on the prone men.
    "Alexander. Alexander Quatermain. Remember it."

    ((Game inspired, would love t'catch up to him in-game sometime ;P ))

  24. Technically (don't quote me on this though), I would think it would be possible to have tails that moved, while not being in the same vein of 'animated' as capes and trenchcoats.

    If you look at some hair atm, Serated Sugar being the one I noticed it on first, the hair actually does kinda of move atm. Well, bends, anyway. I dont know wether thats simpl because it's glued to the characters back, and so moves with that, or what. Tis interesting though. Try flicking through ninja run, upright, and walking backwards.

    And I agree that the tails really shouldn't use cape mechanics. Blowing in the wind might look ok in, say, the Shard or the Cimerora Peninsula...but in Pocket D? Or inside? Seriously...
    Even if it's just a fixed sway or something. If not, then so long as they look half decent, I dont see too many problems.

    Touch wood >_>
