Where do I download new skins for this thing, because I'm finding I'm not keen on the look.

To be honest I don't worry about SGs anymore.
All the people I want to chat with I can find in the global rooms, and if I want a team I either join with a PuG or else set one up with my global friends. The only reason to need an SG is for the teleporters, but between the PocketD Port, the Market porters and Ouroboros there's really no pressing need for the base teleporters anymore.

I agree with this. I always try to encourage constructive criticism because it helps me, as an artist, grow and improve. The few times I've tried to give it in the past, though, I've gotten unfriendly responses. While I like hearing "Nice work" from people, none of us here are so good that we can't still improve, and "nice work" doesn't help us in any way to aspire to be better.

Discussions about techniques, color schemes and yes, even subject matter, should be encouraged more.
Just my opinion.
