Sadly, he's vulnerable to Heroic BSOD. -
Prof, this is a necrothread, from back in '05.

Some points of Clarity:
Firstly, the chat system does not need to be changed. Look how it works in Co-Op zones. If you have "Show enemy chat" disabled, your villain does not see hero chat, the end. It would be a good plan (Although not strictly neccisary) to enable showing enemy chat before you cross over.
In PVP zones, Heroes and Villains have access to the same channels.
Seriously.
I'm not making this up.
The only Villain channels a Hero can't see (and vice versa) in PVP are your Supergroup, coalition, and Team chat.
They see Arena, Request, Broadcast, Local, Tells directed to them, all global channels that you are both part of, ETC. if they have the options on.
Now, as for the Exemp thing, I'm gonna say the best thing to do would be impliment the PVP Zone levelcode. You're SK'd up to or exemplared down to the level of your benefactor. If you are same level, nothing happens, but you still count as SK'd.
For those who worry about cross-faction chat in PVP, it happens. It happens a lot. Really.
The people who PVP play both heroes and villains more times than not, and we PVP on both sides of the spectrum. Some like to keep things balanced and swap sides regularly when numbers tilt too far.
And it's not like your VG couldn't make up a global and invite your Hero toon "Spy" to it anyhow. There's no point in limiting chat options here.
I would be willing to say "No PVP for temp side-swap charactors". Seriously, it's a different game function. If they implimented this with side-swap PVP, that'd be cool too. Just saying I can understand the limitations.
Don't tie it in to SG's. That's a headache, and propably a coding nightmare.
Leave the base entry permissions as what they are. If your team leader's SG says "Allow teammates entry", then the team can enter, the end. They get TP'd out if they quit team, same as normal. -

If the devs give the GMs the ability to mindwipe all emails and offline gtells sent by a spammer, that will reduce the amount of spam piling up on logged-out players to nearly zero.

I support this statement 100% -
Seconded. Especially to the longbow diversification.

Ghost Widow with their non-dev cheating powers fails. Think they died twice in a malta mish when they teamed with us on Victory. When GW made a believer out of someone who disbelieved that they were really a dev, that was priceless.

wait, what? -
An open mind is like a fortress with it's gates left unbarred and unguarded.

oh. Well that's all right then.

Been really busy with work, testing for a liscence, family, girls, writing, and *Just* finished all the legal hubbub with my lawyer on Thursday. So I'm a little streached for free time. Need to replenish the creative juices, but I am working on it

Pfft. a lv 2 corruptor with Snipe and the GvE jump pack can get to the rooftops at the base of the starting fort, and kill mobs (that can't get up there or in range to shoot back) untill lv 4.
Then you move towards Fort Darwin, just sniping merrily away untill around lv 8. Hit Port Oakes and do it from the top of the cliffs near the dock untill lv 14, then hit Cap and go for non-gold brickers from the rooftops south of the market. Move areas every level. The XP comes to you, really.
Heck, there's even a bind for it, $targetcustomnext power_exec (your snipe here) or somesuch. -
Anyone seen Bwerp? He hasn't replied in a while >.>

and toss random monsters in there. And a statue puzzle.

((LoL no nukes >.> Wonder if that's me <.< But I get it, level 29- XD))

((Dang anth, that sucks . I'm hoping s'more people will post. thread has fallen behind the "Eden studios" threads.))

Evinwould propably be mine.
When CoV first came out, I wanted to create a "Prototype" charactor to test the waters, so to speak. His story was that Arachnos created him out of the remains of fallen soldiers, and maybe a hero or two, before Warburg splintered off.
Basically, he was the perfect minion. Which tied in to CoV's storyline better than I could have imagined.
Now I Play him on like 3 other forums, and he's my villainside Main. dinged 50 in '06. -
"Uh.. Sure." He replied.
Angus has been looking for new recruits, and failing that, Doc's been looking for someone to test out our new base defences...
Looking around, Acanous noted 3 exits, not counting the one he had come from. Assuming that Zallrule's direction also diddn't lead out, that left two paths.
"So, Left, or strieght?" -

Nemesis making Nemesis Automatons of villains is a Nemesis plot. But everything is a Nemesis plot, but since this was already a Nemesis plot to begin with, it is a Double Secret Nemesis Plot.

Ok, that hinges it, I want to have Bwerp in on this story XD -
Hmm... Not sure really. I've only HEARD things about you, Grey, although they're all good. I've played with Bwerp a little, and he does his homework and makes good arguments, despite the first impressions he tends to make with his somewhat chaotic style.
I'd be willing to work with whoever is going to be online this weekend. Failing that,
I really want to use one of my Villains in a story, so I'd like a Rogue-isles setting. Was thinking something expounding on that nemesis plot that copies villains and creates full-powered clockwork clones. That story SCREAMS with potential.
Anyhow, I'd be willing to work with anyone that will have me
