How are the highlights? I like the ones on the eyes, not sure about the skin.. Maybe make them softer, because it wouldn't be so bright on the skin?

And I'm 12. I would be one of those "younger viewers". I happen to like this style, and I don't intend to change it anytime soon. Eyes are like that in this particular style. The head is that big. It's according to style, it's not supposed to be completely realistic. Think of it this way: Normal males don't have gigantic bulging muscles, and normal females don't have that kind of figure either. Rant over.

To start off, I'm good with any server, I think Envisionaries and Artisan Forum Heroes is a good name. I think the Artisan Heroes would also be cool, just a minor tweak on Anti's(?) idea.

Hey all! I just finished inking/coloring/shading/highlighting Rhett Bhastard, a request I did for my queue. I used a new kind of inking though: Instead of black lines, I used lighter and darker shades of the colors that would be inside. I wanted to see what you guys thought of it.

ALSO, I highlighted and shaded this piece. I think the highlights came out pretty good, but the shading is just WIERD! I was also wondering if people could help me get good shading on him.

I have a book "How to Draw More Superheroes" and it is a really great book, having practice heroes and breaking it down step by step. It may not have specific sections on each part of the body, but is a nice way to start, and has some cool poses too

I think a blend of the two would be cool. I like the shine in certain places, especially the eyes and if you have effects, but the old simple coloring looked very nice, also. Mysterious Flame is very close to what I'm thinking of - Leaving the shines for accents, (ex: Skull eyes and fire and eyes) but just keeping it regularly lighted for other parts of the body (ex: pants, shirt, hood).
