If LadyWhite is still around i'd give him a shout. Dooms Day is his ice/dev blaster and was pretty successful by all accounts in PvP - i think built mainly as a squishy killer - slows, holds etc.

I don't think there are many but it seems they are becoming FotM now!

Dooms Day was good in 1v1 pvp but LW always chose Bitter Ice for team pvp over dooms day.

I disagree, as with most things its the person behind it thats important and some people can do crazy things with "gimped" builds. My defenceless (non-regen) stalkers are often refered to as gimped builds, at least by those who havent fought them in the pvp zones.

there are no gimped builds all have advantages and disadvantages, i.e. ninjitsu has fear and confuse res but can b 2shotted, regen has no res to slows, fear or confuse but cant b 2shotted, depends on ur team and how u play

as for earth, holds, immob, -fly, -def, -acc, slows, knockback to name a few without lookin at the set properly

i agree with everything valens has said, i cant comment on the melee side at all but all u really need for invul is temp invul, unyielding, dull pain and unstoppable. resist energies is prob a good idea ddue to the /nrg blappers but the rest resist are a waste of time, similarly invincibility is good pve but largely pointless in pvp

You seem to be under the misconception that I think they arent doing a good job. I have never once said they werent doing a good job, and even commended them for sticking to it when they (constantly) get massively overwhelmed and the teams insist on making them spend a good hour juggling. :P

I would say the only fair way of doing this is to say taht all matches have to be fought on the original time and day unless all the team members involved agree to fight it later on that day or push it back to Friday, possibly Saturday(I think some sort of maximum time limit should be put in).

Personally, the clash is a pain but it's just one match and, looking at when the rest are scheduled for, will be the only clash of the tournament. I'm happy to skip going to the pub for a single match out of the 7 Enlgand will be playing in to win the Cup

in i7 scrappers and blasters won't be 2 hitting anyone and i'll give you several good reasons.
1) 56% res on nearly all PPP shields S/L/Toxic/nrg/cold/neg nrg
2) everybody gets a hold and ranged attack
3) stalker dark set is nearly brute strength S/L/toxic res
4) some nice accolades which are 100% res to all with no end crash.

when a stalkers got 50% S/L and 30% toxic what do you think those spine scrappers are gonna do ?
